Catching up with this thread after not being around for a full day is a pain.  Why can't this place just stop when I'm not here like Frisky's thread does?

Crunchewy is right. I just tried creating a new channel on Ustream and if you want to make it private you have to have a Pro account.

We could still try Ustream since it's far less popular with gamers and maybe we won't get so many random cheating douchebags stumbling in.

Straw man argument, but I'll bite. If you don't believe publishers run their own internal reviews you're naive. Bungie knew the game's reception would be mixed and likely wanted to stave off reactions. Probably the same reason Sony felt confident enough to push up TLoU's embargo date.

But beyond that, selling a game in a way which specifically encourages pre-orders and day one purchases while prohibiting critical assessment is wrong. Lol, why defend such a shitty practice?

Destiny isn't a bad game. It's just not what they promised. I don't think they deceived us. It's just an incredibly ambitious project that will get better over time. I would like to think gamers are sophisticated enough to understand that. They should just be open about it and stop with the spin.

Yeah all the time. Kind of a way to say "Hey we didn't just scam a free game off you." I don't ever really see any of their responses (unless they make them on Twitter), but the site owner says a lot of them like my reviews.

My early reviews didn't get sent to Nintendo because I had bought all those games with my own money, but pretty much everything provided to us by a pub will have its review sent back to them.

It's worded really weirdly on their site and on the PS Blog, but it sounds like there's no single-player.  Also no online gameplay.  An easy no buy if it's truly lacking both of those.

Seems like that might work. I'd definitely be down for giving it a shot. Won't be home til about 630-7pm my time tonight though, but I'll be free the rest of the night after that.

Vita Version Incoming too. Which means it has to have a singleplayer.

If TLOU really is just one big escort mission I wont buy it.  I was going to get it at some point but I hate escort missions almost as much as unskippable cut scenes.  9/10 Therms

I wonder with the whole share thing Sony has given us small amounts of info on if we will have devs get lazy and use just it as their online MP component for small games like this. I do not see that being a very smart strategy.

I didn't mean everytime. Just one or two as a headsup. Maybe that is too convoluted a solution but there were more randoms than people from here. Nevermind though since people have made better suggestions.

Pretty fucking awesome. I wonder why the PS buttons are on there? I would imagine this is a PC mod, it would be odd if they went and changed all the buttons to playstation, unless the Dualshock 4 is compatible with Re4 on PC.

It's not a big escort mission. Ellie can handle herself and their conversations / banter is pretty awesome. Side note, I'm about to go trade my copy in!

Man Super Mega Baseball creators are right though there needs to be more of these quirky sports games. I miss "The Bigs" style games still have my PS3 copy. Hopefully they don't bork it with no single player. Ugh.

You can create extra chat rooms on Twitch that require invites to get in, so you could make one and use it to drop the code (or we could just all go there and leave the randoms to talk to themselves).

lol he's being sarcastic. I don't even think you can command her to do anything. Hell, I'm pretty sure enemy AI don't pay her any mind since she's often in plain sight but we won't get into that. :)
 
Crimsonland is really fun.  I finished the normal quest mode last night.  I attempted the various survival modes and didnt get very far.  I have no clue how to survive long enough to get some of the point totals needed for the trophies.  I may need Affa's expertise.  Though I hate to say it but I saw Snakey had some good scores.
