Good idea. You'll get more for TLoU at Best Buy anyway.
Yeah but I got points and gift cards and blah blah blah... but whatever. Anyway BB it is. A free $10 PSN card for a game I am going to buy anyway is a deal. Hopefully my $5 RZ gift cert comes through before then. If I remembered my BB login and didn't have to go through a 38 step process of creating and resetting, I'd check.

Crimsonland is really fun. I finished the normal quest mode last night. I attempted the various survival modes and didnt get very far. I have no clue how to survive long enough to get some of the point totals needed for the trophies. I may need Affa's expertise. Though I hate to say it but I saw Snakey had some good scores.
I haven't gotten any of the survival mode trophies yet either, but yes it's a lot of fun. It's a great game for Vita.

RE: Revelations.

Or The Evil Within if that turns out alright on PS3.
As a general rule, I'm putting off all cross-gen games to play on PS4.

Aside from that, I can't really remember the last time I bought a game remotely close to release that wasn't a sports game. I think it was God of War 3.

Something tells me that while I will (hopefully) enjoy The Evil Within, it might not be something I cherish and keep in my collection. I'll most likely trade it in for $40+ after platting it.

I don't really care, as the gameplay looks great. Unless it suddenly turns to crap at a random point (which I admit is entirely possible), I can see SoM getting at least 4/5 and 8/10 review scores.
Well, that's the PC version. The console versions seem to be going out for review earlier. May indicate a crap PC port, which is disappointing because I want to put off SoM to PS4 or play it on PC. It's hard to justify picking up a PS3 game when I can wait and get the PS4 version cheap or free (PS+) down the road.

I don't have enough gaming time to do this type of stuff, so that's why I lean towards waiting on a price drop over beating it quickly at release and trading in. Suits me better.

just realized SoM has the $10 cert from BB, guess NHL will be getting traded in next week before release.... first time I have kept a sports game for less than a month, so disappointing.

Great, it looks like my The Evil Within preorder became a ghost order--no order confirmation email received, and the order isn't in my history. Thankfully, I have the tab open with the order number inside, so I should be able to get this straightened out with an online BBY forum rep. :headache:

BB site is so borked at times. I've been trying to sort out my reward zone stuff forever. Called and it's still not right. I did use up the $15 I had so for now I don't care but it's annoying.

It's worded really weirdly on their site and on the PS Blog, but it sounds like there's no single-player. Also no online gameplay. An easy no buy if it's truly lacking both of those.

There’s a full single player mode. Seasons, playoffs, stats, level-ups, improving your team, and so on. Playing it co-op is entirely optional.

That is my same basic philosophy, wait till the price drops to around what it would cost me to buy and then quickly flip it back ($5-20), and then play it at whatever pace I want.

And yes.
Nevermind, I see I was beaten to my point ;)

Ensure, like the old people drink?
YOUR supposed to use the gif.

But no. To ensure something is to say you ensure your homework is complete. But you insure your car with car insurance. Too many people ask their employees to INSURE work is complete. But you cant INSURE that! fuck

You can if you sell insurance.

Inception!

You complaining about this sort of thing is mind boggling.

I know, I was just being silly.

I did first think of ensure though since they made me drink that when I was pregnant.

Does anyone here in Marin County, CA, want to turn in a "violent video game" for some Ben & Jerry's ice cream?

BRB, going to buy a $0.99 M-rated game from Gamestop with credit and fly to California so I can get me some o' dat ICE CREEEEEAM. :whee:
I love how violent video games are the devil and need to be destroyed but bringing your 9 year old to go shoot an uzi is perfectly acceptable. WTF!?

Shouldn't that first example actually be assure and not ensure? Those are the 2 I usually have more of an issue with. I try to always think something ensures, I assure but I really have no idea if that is correct. I do know how to use insure properly though. :)

Years ago I had to have TMJ surgery and they wired my jaw shut and told me to drink Ensure. Never again!
I need that surgery badly. Eating is a chore sometimes. Thankfully the pain only occurs occasionally, but it's still very bothersome whether it hurts or not.

No one said it was acceptable. One idiot family did it to show others what not to do.
You should see the idiots who took a picture of their baby lying on top off of a straight fall cliff in Switzerland of something. Baby was only like 3 feet away from the edge and parents were like 10 feet away from baby. Morons.
