I need that surgery badly. Eating is a chore sometimes. Thankfully the pain only occurs occasionally, but it's still very bothersome whether it hurts or not.
All I can tell you is that one of the main symptoms I had was that my jaw would "lock" open (like, when yawning). So they said I needed this surgery. The surgery is done, over months I heal up and… I still have problems with my jaw locking open. So I go back and say, hey doc, I'm still having that problem! And what does he say? "Try not to open your mouth so wide when yawning". I don't trust surgeons any more.

You should see the idiots who took a picture of their baby lying on top off of a straight fall cliff in Switzerland of something. Baby was only like 3 feet away from the edge and parents were like 10 feet away from baby. Morons.

And that TMJ surgery story, that is absolutely true. I wish that it wasn't. I forgot to mention that it also required me to get braces. So surgery, jaw wired shut, Ensure, braces. Didn't do a god damn thing. All true.

I was told I should get that surgery, and I haven't opted to do it yet. I've read online that it doesn't really do anything, so that's why I haven't been in a rush.

Isn't that how the people in Switzerland downsize their family?

Ha, looks like I might as well just deal with it. I've kinda gotten used to it now anyway.

Yeah because I'm sure the place called "Bullets and Burgers" didn't find it acceptable when they allowed it. :whistle2:?
Point is, there arent many people who would agree with it. Sure there are some idiots out there. But everyone I know said those people were dumb. And a lot of those people own guns.

Years ago I had to have TMJ surgery and they wired my jaw shut and told me to drink Ensure. Never again!
My wife had TMJ surgery this past June. Severe pain all the time and couldn't talk for more than an hour or so at a time without being totally down and out for a day or two. Her discs were completely out of place and cartilage mostly gone from hyper-mobile joints. Went in and put the discs back where they should be. Recovery time 6-12 months. Didn't have to wire her jaw shut, but she's been on a mostly mush diet for the last three months. It's a weird feeling buying baby food snack puffs for your wife.

How the hell do all these people have TMJ?  I didnt think something like that was this prevalent!  Sounds like a good way to diet though.  Wire that trap shut!

No it isn't. After you've had Ensure for a week, the next thing you know you'll be asking your mom or SO or wife to blenderize chicken nuggets and fries into a smoothy. And you'll like it.

Maybe you shouldn't have been so rough with the BJs.

Thanks! I just ordered it. I've got the download but I'll use the season pass and then trade in the game. Currently gets $17.00 at Best Buy!
I recommend locking in that Best Buy value online in case it drops before you get the game. I would have also recommended buying an XB1 copy so you could get free Priority Mail shipping (that's what Gamefly does for 2 or more games) while trading that in at a ~$1-$2 loss, but I see I'm too late. :???:

My wife drank lots of protein shakes like Muscle Milk and beef & chicken broth her dad made w/ tons of veggies juices and whatnot.

I had a slight case of it that was made exponentially worse from ecstasy, since it causes your jaws to clench. That's a pill you should never take, pharm.

It was higher than $17? Well, maybe I'll sell it on amazon or ebay instead anyway. I'd rather have cash than be locked into Best Buy.

My wife had a bad wisdom tooth situation, and couldn't eat for almost a week later. By the end of that week, she was dying for spaghetti and meatballs, so I cooked her some and blended it. It was so gross to me, but she loved it.

If people want, I can host another Fibbage party tonight.
In for some Fibbage.

Game was great last night, 2nd loudest I've ever heard Camden Yards, only behind the Divisional Series game I went to a couple of years ago. Best part was my mom got some great seats, for free, through work (section 79). Should be an exciting playoff run.

Hopefully, I can finish up Second Son tonight and get into Destiny, for real.

Yeah, after experiencing that I'm dying to go to one of the playoff games. It's a lottery (to get the chance to buy) unless you put money down on a 2015 (partial) season ticket plan, though. Well, I put my name in the hat. Hopefully I get picked.

No, but Best Buy is known to drop trade-in values midweek or at the start of a new week, so it's possible for the $17 value to drop to (for example) $12.

That's how I got the ticket a couple of years ago. I also had the ALCS and world series lined up. IIRC, once you buy the divisional, you'll be in one of the first groups to have a shot at CS & WS tickets. I hadn't seen the lottery for this year, only the 2015 season ticket emails, so I'll have to see if I can sign up.
