Several scenes of the movie I liked, but there were fairly large chunks of unfunny, dead space. That's the pitfall of relying too much on improv for your feature.

There is This is the End, which is the Franco, McBride, Robinson, Hill apocalypse comedy

and then there is The World's End, which was the 3rd Edgar Wright movie featuring the cast of Shaun of the Dead with a pub crawl with killer robots.

Then there's also "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World," which was the Steve Carell road movie comedy about what people do when they know there is little time when an asteroid is about to destroy earth.

A lot of these games lived at this nice overall level of complexity where you could plop yourself on the couch with friends, even if they weren’t huge sports fans, and go from having no idea what you’re doing to having a blast in just an hour or two. It was a very cool era for the genre.

Here are the goods:
2-4 player couch co-op/competitive: This can be head-to-head, 2v1, 2v2, or co-op vs the CPU. When you’ve got a teammate, you’ll be alternating batting/running each at-bat, and alternating pitching/fielding each inning. This means everyone’s involved and you’ll have to be on your toes. There’s per-user, sliding difficulty settings, meaning you’ll be able to easily setup a close game between friends of any skill levels.

Not a single mention about a single player mode in the blog post. Maybe the dev thought it was automatically assumed, but we've had too many MP-only games released to just assume every game has a single player mode anymore.

I've seen both The World's End and This is the End. Both were great and must-see movies IMO.

Though I will note that Emma Watson did not enjoy her time on This is the End at all, which was interesting.

Also interesting is that This is the End was going to be named The End of the World, but Pegg asked Rogen to rename the movie because of the similarity in title to The World's End (The World's End was the name of the end location, so it was harder for Pegg to change his movie.)

 
Also around that same time "World Without End" the miniseries based on a book set during the 100 year's war in England which was a sequel to another miniseries based on a book, "the Pillars of the Earth."

I started liking her a lot more because she was in the movie. After reading this, I lost some love for her. Uptight bitches are a no go.

 
say what you will about snakey, he has taken the abuse like a pro.

only 1 left on v2x (42) and I just need to tighten it up, I'm about 10s shy. if I get it tonight I'll have gotten two plats today. if that doesn't increase my value as a person I don't know what will.

All of your guns are phallic references and the ammo is teeth, bones and skulls for machine gun, shotgun and grenade launcher. If I remember correctly. I enjoyed that alot more than Lollipop Chainsaw.

n yeah non stacking trophies, but playing that game multiple times isn't bad at all. I still was catching new jokes every playthrough. Helps to be inebriated/altered states tho ;)

My favorite parts were him trying to read and being terrible at it. I don't know why but it was hilarious.

Definitely an awesome game. Sucked that the difficulty trophies didn't stack, but maybe that will encourage me to play through it again since it is awesome.

 
Awesome. This morning I got a legendary engram from the cryptarch. Ended up getting exotic titan chest armor that gives me an extra grenade.

 
Think I saw a Walker earlier.  Guy's slowly walking on the shoulder of a 3 lane busy road, missing half of his right arm and his face looked all jacked up.
