NFS Most Wanted earned high soundtrack marks immediatly when the opening cinematic/race blasted out Muse's Butterflies & Hurricanes. But then it went on to play me some Dead Sara and some Joy Formidable. fuckin A right.

hey, I have the vita version! high five!
 
So I just spent the last 6 and a half hours in Vault of Glass. Its rough, but not as bad as I was expecting. Standard MMO coordination stuff. Translates decently to a shooter. Does make Weekly Moon Strike look like a joke though. We breezed through most of the challenges. Broke in the entrance first try and only took a couple attempts for each hurdle up until the last boss. The extra demands of perfect coordination with lack of sleep took its toll. Half the time was probably spent just on him. Need sleep.

speaking of friendly tugs, you weren't kidding about r-type. I was getting smacked around by it this morning trying to do the 'only charged shots and don't die' trophy. blech-o-rama!

also, now that I'm playing resident evil 4 again I can confirm that it's still fuck ing awesome.

I really really hope I get to see/hear tyler stream evil within. I read/watched a bunch of gameplay and whatnot yesterday and it looks incredible - like an re4 + last of us hybrid - with a bunch of jump scares and nutty gore. tyler will love it.

It is on my Gamefly Q, but it isnt exactly anywhere near the top, but you will eventually have 1 more with it.

I already have the Vita version thanks to PS+ an earlier $5 sale, so...I guess I'll have to start that up one of these days. :roll:

Whoops, sorry, I'm an idiot--I thought I got NFS: MW from PS+, but it turns out I bought it during a PSN sale for $5 back in March. :oops:

Ah. Somebody mentioned having another game from EU PS+ a while back that caused confusion because it never hit NA. I'd thought that was you, so checked and EU did in fact have NFS: MW. :)

I'm still trying to decide on MW. I already have Asphalt: Injection to go through on my Vita, and MW on PC. Tempting to have it on Vita anyway, though.

You know something that would really help when watching gameplay video of Vita games would be to have a way to force YT videos to display at a specific size. Watching GP videos on my computer always leads to the issue that the video quality appears degraded because the image is blown up substantially from the Vita screen size. This is on top of the hit YT delivers to video quality in general.

 
Knytt Underground is sweet.  I will admit that I was a tad burnt out by the end of chapter 3 since that map is huge, but the exploration was fun and I enjoyed the puzzles.  8/10

I remember playing an English translated ROM of the original Super Famicom Clock Tower about 10 years ago, and it scared the shit out of me, playing it in the dark with headphones on.

Oh I don't doubt that, as Mass Effect seems pretty stingy with the trophies early on and that's where a good chunk of my weekend gaming time will be.

Unless any of you suckers want to hit up some Portal 2 co-op in the evening time.
 
I need to play CoD Clanwar later. ugh. I guess I can take a Destiny break for 4 hours tonite and tomorrow night.
