This morning I did the loot cave for the first time and these guys tried to claim squatter's rights on it.  When I got there three guys were already going at it, but when I started to join in they all ran to the cave and started a dance party so nothing would spawn.  I knew what they were doing so I sat my ass down in the field facing it and we played what the guy in his whiny, rage induced voice message to me called "the waiting game". 

They caved in about 5 minutes.  fuck them.  I ended up getting a couple of legendary engrams out of it, and even though they didn't amount to anything, I took great enjoyment in seeing "TopsideKracker found a Legendary Engram" plastered on the screen.

Hahaha, I don't know why they gave a shit. Things spawn for everyone independently.

glad to see my decision to rarely play mp in any game has paid off. People suck

Methodology: take the alphabet, remove letters if I don't have any other games which start with that letter (A and O removed), that leaves 24 letters. Divided them into groups of 3, 1= B-D, 2= E-G, etc. First number is the group number, second number is which letter to pick in that group of 3, third number is how many counts in alphabetic order for games starting with that letter.

Group number 7 = UVW, 2 means V, 2 Games which start with V, so that results in the second game being the 4th count, Vanquish.

Just got the platinum on PSASBR Vita. I got lucky on that "win a matchmade game without dying" trophy which was my last. Most people are ridiculously high levels. It was 2v2 and this guy and I on opposite teams were a level apart but our teammates were in the hundreds. I guess he decided to give it to me and just stood there all match while I avoided dying and my teammate and I beat up the other guy without him reaching level 3. fuck doing it again on PS3 for now. So tired of that game.
 
so I finished the 25 strikes for the exotic bounty, then just an easy 1 strange coin from xur purchase (luckily it's the weekend) then I got an exotic bounty for 10,000 guardian kills in crucible. I was like no freakn way.

so I played a round of crucible and already got 1000 points, so only like 10ish rounds and ill have bad juju ;)

10,000???

Even if you got 30 kills a match, that's 333 matches! WTF?!?!?

 
I didn't realize, but I'm pretty psyched for the evil within. It's going to be awful playing it first thing in the morning, but I think totally worth it. my understanding is that you have to use sound in parts of the game to determine whether or not it's safe to move forward. that makes tv watching + remote play a non-starter. I'll probably try anyways.
 
yeah it said kill guardians in the crucible and says 10,000. it says warlock kills get me more points, but my kids wanted to play minecraft.

So I just did 1 crucible match to see what the 10,000 really meant, and after just 1 round I am already 1000/10,000. So you just get points for kills, not legitly 10,000 kills at all. I got 1000 in one round, so to get 10,000 that's only bout 10 more rounds. I thought I explained it but yeah I was freakn out, I was like 10,000 kills wtf. lol. I am looking forward to that 'string of curses' where when you get a kill it auto reloads and ups the damage output. Peace guys

after I get this exotic primary I will finally get the trophy for having all legendary/exotic equipment. Then the arduous task of gathering planet materials (relic iron on mars, blooms on venum, helium tubes on moon) and ascendant energy (public events, raids, random crucible wins, dismantling legendary items) til I get the trophies for upgrading a legendary and exotic weapon all the way. bit by bit

I should have no problem running through the game quickly on Hard and then mopping up the collectible trophies through chapter select on Easy, correct?  Just started it last night and on chapter 4 or 5 now.

J. Lo knows she's too damn old for that shit. And Iggy looks like one of the Wayans brothers in White Chicks. Garbage. Why not just watch real porn at this point? Nice to see Hype Williams still working, I guess.

Yeah that bounty is pretty easy, even I did it. The gun is nice, the recoil took me a bit to get used to though. I wish ascendant shards and ascendant energy were easier to collect so I can fully upgrade some of my guns and armor :/.

Fun so far, don't like the upgrade system though. I've lost 2 or 3 "upgrade" items. If you die with it out on the field or pick it up and die before reaching a check point its gone for good. Also NOOOOO more fuck ing QTEs, I would have beaten the boss on the first try at the end of act 1, but a QTE popped up and I wasn't ready for it. That caused me to die and lose the upgrade to my rocket launcher so I went from starting the fight with 3 rockets to just 1 and it took me 7 or 8 more times to beat him.

Any recommendations what weapons to focus on leveling first? I've mainly been doing the assault rifle since its seems like a good general use weapon that I often find in weapon crates.

I'm leaning towards getting FC4 at launch if only because there's a chance of it being cheaper within 45 days (being a Ubisoft game and all) at Best Buy so I can do a post-purchase PM. GTA V I'd skip, but that's mainly because JC2 has completely spoiled 3rd-person sandbox games for me.

went to the code trading thread to see if anyone had defense grid, and saw some natural doctrine codes. tempted to buy one, and i'm not even sure why.

max the heavy machine gun. also keep upgrading that launcher. you can breeze through the game with that loadout but you'll be missing some of the fun stuff. there's some situationally useful weapons (spoilered in case you want to figure it out yourself):

- the sniper can be fun in a lot of situations, and you at least need some experience with it before an area that requires use of it (trophy in this section too)
- the lfe gun is awesome for things you can't hit normally until they're unrolled
- the disc gun is super. it has two neat tricks: 1) it can decapitate romanovs in one shot 2) if you melee with it it uses ammo instead of exhausting your suit

there's some other neat tricks with different weapons and melee and slowdown if you play around.

love this game. hate the last challenge map with every fiber of my being.

All this is true. But be weary of the fucking orb collecting. Lots of out of place ones. Chapter select just gives a percentage, not an actual number you need to collect, so a map/location guide might be necessary. Also, save the "Do this part of the level in under XX seconds" trophies for the easy playthrough because they don't give you enough time on hard.

yeah, I noticed about the orbs already. But I figure I'll use the guide if I ever get around to an Easy playthrough.
