Spent about an hour getting perfect on zone 50 in Velocity Ultra. 50 straight perfects. Not too hard, tbh. I think there's just a bunch of lame ass mini games to finish this plat.

EDIT: Wait what? How do I have perfects on all levels but not rescued every survivor?

max the heavy machine gun. also keep upgrading that launcher. you can breeze through the game with that loadout but you'll be missing some of the fun stuff. there's some situationally useful weapons (spoilered in case you want to figure it out yourself):

- the sniper can be fun in a lot of situations, and you at least need some experience with it before an area that requires use of it (trophy in this section too)
- the lfe gun is awesome for things you can't hit normally until they're unrolled
- the disc gun is super. it has two neat tricks: 1) it can decapitate romanovs in one shot 2) if you melee with it it uses ammo instead of exhausting your suit

there's some other neat tricks with different weapons and melee and slowdown if you play around.

love this game. hate the last challenge map with every fiber of my being.

Ya, I haven't quite got a handle on how to use the the disc launcher effectively. I do love the sniper and usually keep one with me as it comes in handy at hitting turret gunners and other snipers, Though sometimes the lock-on Laser can be just as effective in that role (or more effective if the turret is far enough above you that you can't get a sniper shot at them).

Yeah, doing laps to get iron/blooms/tubes/spinmetal is easy enough, especially after you have 2500 kills in a zone and you get double resources. but those ascendants take awhile. I have been getting lucky and usually if you do the public events you can gather a few.

also make sure to raise the level on daily hero strikes at least above normal because you will get ascendant resources. This is unlike the weekly events where you can do it 3 times and get 3 coins each time. Once you do a daily strike on any difficulty you won't get any more rewards for it. and i know this sounds drastic, but you can always dismantle legendary/exotic items for ascendants. and a lil tip, if you have maxed out equipments, is to switch to green/blues when you turn in completed bounties and then level them up (just with glimmer/resources) and then when you dismantle them you will get more resources (usually weapon parts / class specific armor parts).

It just sucks tho because I totally want to play more tonight and tomorrow night, but I have 1 last clan war. Diamond Division Call of Duty Ghosts, one final 1st place finish ;) from 9-1am, next four hours. i mean, yay....

Enslaved - My girl and I loved tripp and monkey, they were fantastic together. Pigsy was great too, I have to play that dlc I bought someday. and yeah, orbs ugh, heads up cuz they might glitch on ya. Make sure it actually picks up every orb...

also i wish i could play ps4 destiny with you guys. soon enough we can all play stuff together. fibbage was fun the other night, and we are def down to do that again (my girl and I were both learning/playing)

wow I just randomly decided to check out the old psn thread, i havnt in months, and notice like half of the posts on the last page are from you guys. what's going on? ;) (haha, ninja i saw you even name dropped me, velo buy as a 3way buy, lol, i would have totally missed that :) )

yeah it is work. I don't want to do it. I didn't want to do it last week. We got 1st, but my heart wasn't in it at all. I need to wear my mic but im not gonna enjoy it. We don't even win anything anymore, we already have all the gold and diamond clan camos for gun/helmet/armor unlocked. I might even trip out or some shit cuz this isn't what I want to be doing. This is the last clan war and I have participated in every one, but yeah, I am def over my CoD addiction and ready to drop my clan when they move on to Advanced Warfare. It looks way too crysis for me anyway, and it is an excuse to play my backlog. They are all playing on ps4 after ghosts, so that's my way of 'quitting'. but yeah, this is gaming by necessity not for fun. I'm supposed to maybe have a 4sum later anyway but I told them im busy til 1, hopefully they come over early and my girl makes me get off. of the game.

It was 2v2 and this guy and I on opposite teams were a level apart but our teammates were in the hundreds. I guess he decided to give it to me and just stood there all match while I avoided dying and my teammate and I beat up the other guy without him reaching level 3. fuck doing it again on PS3 for now. So tired of that game.

I got lucky in a 2v2 maych for that one too. We were all low level, but one of the other team members got disconnected or was afk or something and wasn't moving after we got a couple kills. So we all just danced around the map until the match ended.

 
Yeah, pretty sure this is a new level of cryptic for rpg. My guess is that it's the PS+ selection in Japan since I was recently talking about Lollipop Chainsaw (awful, btw) with someone who got it for free. Could be another Asian country idk.

So, word is Destiny sucked at first. Bungie says to reserve judgement and play it for 20 hours and then it gets good.

For all you dick wads that speak of this game incessantly, what score did you give it at first, and now, what score do you give it after having played it for 2 weeks nonstop?

I had to take the oldest boy to Best Buy to buy it today for the 360. It about killed me that he was willing to pay $60.00 for it. I told him to wait a few weeks for a sale, but he declined. I told him to get it for PS4, but "Noooooooo, all my friends are on 360!"

What time does Xur leave? I have to do this bounty, and part of it involves him, but I still have to do 13 more strikes first. I'm debating going to bed or sticking it out if he's going to be gone when I wake up.

Yeah, I just didn't want to have a useless bounty sitting and taking up a spot for the whole week, but I probably will. Because I'm tired as fuck and I'm sick of running this same strike over and over. At least next week I can do the playlist and get some marks too. That's why we keep you around Matt.
