The main series is great, don't ignore them based off that turd of a game.I'll plat Destiny first. That shit sucked. I couldn't even tell where I was at on the screen half the time.
Considering I have all the RC games backlogged and this is the first one I've ever played...not looking good.

right? what an asshole. I was actually on since 4 playing the last of us and trying to get ellie's stupid jokes to trigger. did you shoot me a message and I missed it? I checked around 5 and hadn't seen you yet so I stopped checking. WE ARE SO CLOSE TO FINISHING BLURGHITY BLURGH.What's worse... looking forward to playing Portal 2 and then not being able to or being stood up by a friend?
Oh, I know... both at the same time!
Of course. And that obviously makes me Christoph Waltz.I'm assuming Matt is the one with the beard in this gif?
It was pretty good. The only part where it seemed to fall apart a bit was on the level where you have to take certain paths bouncing into the air and hitting the right flag for a certain path. Honestly, I can see how that would be hard to explain well.Boy, I wish more games had as thorough and easy-to-follow a guide as Puppeteer's Collectibles Guide from PST.org. At this rate, I should hopefully have its plat within a few days.

Not by number, but one of the first puppet heads you get in that level is the bat. Maybe that will help. Can you remember what level that was?
I wonder if you mean Act I, Curtain 2, which had the 20+ puppet children to free that you had to reach by dropping straight down after cutting seams and not immediately continuing the stage, plus the souls you obtained by examining the enemies on flagpoles while you were seam-cutting. I recall a bat head at the beginning of that section. Not by number, but one of the first puppet heads you get in that level is the bat. Maybe that will help.
EDIT: Also, I am not sure if it was so difficult to find the heads in that one as it was finding all the the enemies to kill to get all the souls or whatever.
Maybe.... I remembered now it was not just a bat head puppet. The bat head secret area was near the beginning of the stage.I wonder if you mean Act I, Curtain 2, which had the 20+ puppet children to free that you had to reach by dropping straight down after cutting seams and not immediately continuing the stage, plus the souls you obtained by examining the enemies on flagpoles while you were seam-cutting. Don't forget all of the really great glitches we ran into. Like the phantom cannons in the first level and it not counting the third ball going into the hole. And how well it explained how to switch over to and use the glob lobber. Also the fact that the second level was a million years long. Also the fact that it was made for co-op but having 4 people really seemed to devolve into chaos instantly. I've got a friend who is way into R&C and she was excited that I was going to be playing A4O the first time until I told her I'd be playing with others. Now I get it.No not laggy, just super boring. The combat was really generic, the platforming was bad, the weapons weren't very interesting (we had all unlocked 3 or 4 but were just using the stock pistol still), the enemy design was awful, the pacing kinda sucked, and Matt and Munky both mentioned they had issues keeping track of their characters (Clank and Ratchet).
I don't know, maybe I'm falling into group-think too much, but I really don't think I am. I really didn't do a whole lot except for move forward, jump once in a while and constantly hold L1 and R1. Some puzzles to break up the monotony would have been sweet, and some enemy variety that required more than just simply blasting them would have really helped.
Yeah, there was definitely a Bat Head Action immediately before the seam-cutting/puppet-saving part that unlocked a bunch of bats you could use to skip most of the section. If that's the part that you think the guide was a bit off in describing, then I should be fine since I fully completed that level last night.Maybe.... I remembered now it was not just a bat head puppet. The bat head secret area was near the beginning of the stage.
I had the exact same reaction, that's why I was so relieved when it transitioned at the 20 minute mark. The first 20 minutes had me worried. I was pretty sure I knew what was going on, but TV often does stupid shit.
You should be fine then. I guess I should be expecting my TT score for that one to drop soonYeah, there was definitely a Bat Head Action immediately before the seam-cutting/puppet-saving part that unlocked a bunch of bats you could use to skip most of the section. And how I kept trying to launch you at the platforms, but for some reason it kept throwing you off the cliff. That was totally a glitch too.Don't forget all of the really great glitches we ran into.
