As I play I realize it has aspirations to be both these things. I agree it currently isn't, but that's not by design. I just don't think they've quite figured it out. Do I grind for these marks and reputation points? Or try my luck elsewhere? Or farm like so many others. The reward system is fucking bizarre, man. As are the the missing MMO staples. I'm still having a lot of fun despite the quirks. Not my favorite PS4 game but it's quickly become my most played, for what it's worth.

After two weeks, I can say I'm burned out on it. At Level 27 and the requirements to upgrade my armor to 30 can go fuck itself. I only need to do the raid and I'll let it simmer until they patch it a bit more.

Preordered Shadow Of Mordor and intend to devour that, since I adore Tolkien.

Edit: And the hard cap being level 30? Hahaha, fuck You, Bungie.

I just keep looking at the Weekly Deals questioning what kind of witch voodoo Ubisoft uses in order to pump out so many Assassin's Creed games in such a short span of time.

 
I'm probably going to get Minecraft when it launches for Vita. It had never clicked with me but I figure it's more likely to on Vita. Seems like a good game to play before sleepy time.

Hitting the circle button for accept instead of X is a Japanese thing. If you play an import game, they are that way. When I played a stretch of Japanese games in a row, it took me a while to go back to the normal mode of X for accept.

Guys, guys...it's a goddamn button. If you buy a Japanese Vita, it says to press O. If you buy a NA Vita, it says to press X. The button does the same thing either way. That's it. Quit trying to make it more complicated than it is.

I guess where I'm confused is how U.S. games would handle on a Japanese Vita--would they be configured like Japanese games for the buttons, or would they be what we're used to since those would be "import games" in Japan?

It would act the same as it would here. You would press x for accept and circle for cancel still. That is all coded into the game itself and why their games are reverse of what we expect.

I own a Japanese import game, I play it on a NA Vita. It tells me to hit circle for accept and X for cancel.

sorry, I'm perpetuating this. I don't have an import vita, just a vague understanding of the single oddity with having one. I'll butt out.

So in other words, playing U.S. Vita games on a Japanese Vita is exactly the same as playing them on an U.S. Vita?

I would be absolutely shocked if it weren't based on how playing a JP game on a US Vita works.

Ran Queen's mission twice last night. Got two chest pieces :< gonna run again tonight to try for the helmet. Her bounties for yesterday were super easy, mildly annoyed that most of them today are crucible related. 

 
I'm truly confused by all the confusion today. If anyone needs anything I'll be deciding on if I should buy all Assassin's Creeds or not. This will be a week long debate. Why aren't most of them $5? Sony bitch slap for sure. I'm confused on what to do. I have 1 and 4 already, 2 & 3 on that awful 360 console, and a big fat hole where the others should be. I should of bought physical so I could swim in the boxes.

I am also still thinking about Liberation HD and even Freedom Cry (mainly because it is on PS4).

 
BL2 is 4.9 GB. That will probably sway me toward selling the code, but unless one of you dummies take it for $20 I'm going to be worried that a buyer will redeem the code and than claim it was already redeemed and ask for their money back. Such an easy thing to exploit. Or am I being needlessly worried about this possibility?

No, that's a definite possibility. What I've done when selling codes in the past is enter them on the PSN store to bring up the page where you can redeem the content, taken a photo of said page, then hit "Cancel" to keep the code valid. That way you have proof that the code wasn't already redeemed. Alternatively, I'm pretty sure a Sony rep can confirm when a code was used if you did an online chat; that's what I did with a Microsoft rep to confirm a code was still valid when a buyer claimed it wasn't. I never did hear back from that seller after notifying them that the code still worked... :roll:

Alright, so buy his, and the 2nd person interested can buy mine for $15. I need at least $15 recuperated in order to make this upgrade acceptable to the boss!

What's to stop a buyer from saying you redeemed the code yourself 5 minutes after that photo? If they want to screw you over they will find a way.

I've played 2, then 1, and based on that I would just skip to 4 (which you already own) since it is the start of the new out of Animus "tale" and is supposed to be more awesome than all the rest.

 
Boy, what an enthralling 12 pages to catch up on.  Hey guys, I'm thinking about upgrading to the Vita 2000.  Any suggestions on the best price for the upgrade?  And what do I need to do with my old Vita before trading it in?  What about the memory cards? I was also thinking about importing one from Japan.  Will I run into any issues there?

Also, I've been playing Destiny.  I hate that you can only get one strike reward a week.  I got an exotic helmet though.  But I hate when engrams don't turn out to be what I want them to be.  I'm level 24, how do I get higher.  Is the queen still in the tower.  How do I get legendary bounties.  Where do I find Xur?  Will you all please kill yourselves?
