Hey man I saw you asking my opinion earlier, but I havn't grinded much at all. The only reason I think people were grinding that loot cave or nemesis vex or whatev is to get purple legendaries, but I think most people found out purple engrams aren't the best way to be spending your time. Stotch's dismantling of queen rewards was pure gold tho, for yesterday at least. but really, if you are grinding you should just be doing chest runs or grinding out crucible pvp rounds or vanguard strikes or daily/weekly events. and really, that's just playing the game and not grinding at all. but yeah I never found the appeal of the original loot cave.

ok i actually watched the video this time, yeah that's just in the same area of the chests run and that is super easy and you get resources, glimmer, items to dismantle and can finish off bounties/patrols at the same time. Seems alot more fun than shooting at distant enemies for long periods of time, but idk.

also we finished the 3rd stealth and then jump part of the raid tonite. we attempted the final part but we all had time contraints so trying to finish it tomorrow. One guy on our team says he can't get the clan tag to work also, and that's like, frustrating, but im a chill dude, but cmon man, get the tag so we can get that trophy too. but yeah of course im the relic dude. I know we need a second relic dude also. I love being the first to jump in the portal to the desert/rain forest realm. woot woot hopefully finishing it tomorrow.

Yeah I saw it, but cave/spawn farming is incredibly stupid in Destiny. It's only something to do if you literally have nothing else to do. It makes no sense to stand outside a cave for hours to maybe get a decent drop when you could just play PVP and potentially get the same drops, but not be bored out of your mind.

That's for the retards who think Destiny is a loot game.

So my good news for the week, one of my jobs is giving me a raise. Not that big of a deal since I barely work there anymore (about 25 hours a week), but a 16% raise is always nice.

It's also a somewhat relieving feeling when you get paid half of what you're supposed to and it doesn't really matter much.

That's good to know, guys. I'm not big on Destiny, but I stumbled across that video while looking at other stuff and thought I'd post it here.

 
Okay so I will preorder Shadow of Mordor too.  BTW, Dead Nation with Chewy and Pharm has been a SLOOOW grind.  i.e. we have not played it at all since the last update. I think that was two weeks ago.

I hear trophies rarely pop when you don't play a game. Could just be a glitch, though.

 
Bought an exotic engram at a cost of 23 motes from Xur. Decodes into a helm for titan. I'm a warlock. So yeah, f-- this. 2 weeks worth gone in a flash. Of course, it all makes sense in the bigger scheme of things. "Because it's not a loot game"! Nor an MMO. Or RPG. Or FPS. Destiny is an enigma, you see. A gift from above. Praise be to Bungie for this magnificence.

So now I have to decide between spending the rest of my coins on an exotic helm or auto rifle. Would have had both if that engram worked as I thought it would.

I cut my teeth on WoW so I know what it is to so-called grind (although WoW never felt that way). But this is some silly shit. I both love and hate this game.

I played some Minecraft this morning just to help work toward 100 days.  I decided to leave it on while at work so I changed the house to block the doors off and stuff.  I just realized I left the nether portal on inside my house.  Hopefully a zombie pigman does not come through the portal and kill me while I am afk.

thanks, I hope so - we did a dry run this morning and had no problems getting back through 1 - 4 and 9, but ran out of time so I'll be watching some videos of 5 - 8 today to make sure I'm ready. Pretty stoked though - I think this one and professor portal are the only two I didn't get on 360.

I had not heard anything about it until someone (Vig I think) posted a video of it a week or two ago. At the time, I thought I need to keep my eye on that one, it looks like it will be pretty fun. Now with all those reviews, it just got added to the Gamefly Q. I hope the hype doesn't get too high until some time after release so I have a chance to play it before mid-2015. lol

For a gamefly release, you might even be able to plat, no challenge room trophies or online trophies... but the trophies due sound very circumstantial, making a guide a must!
