I think we may have discussed this before..

I like to get Checkers fries and a milk shake and dip the fries in it. Damn good. Only Checkers fries for me though. They have the seasoning and are extra sturdy.
You found a secret menu item at Checkers!!!

I remember as a kid we had heard that Hardees burgers were horse meat. I guess we believed it, because we never, ever wanted to go to Hardees.

It's just red meat. no big deal.

Did we start talking about diet sodas this morning because someone saw this?

What the fuck is Stevia? Will it give you cancer?
A plant.

Do you remember that old NES bible game? It was off brand and did not have the Nintendo Seal of Approval.

I was a bible boss like having noah carry 5 animals on his head at once or throwing baby moses in the river over and over ;)

good times
Never even heard of it.

Finally got both the homing trophy and double eagle trophy in Hot Shots.  Pretty sure it will be my highest TT game now.  Quite the grind, but fun for the most part.

I remember seeing those games at this Christian book store my Mom used to take me too all the time. Never played them though.

I actually bought that game for like $3 at a flea market.

Though I just noticed that only 11.1% of DG players got the "Owed Rent Money" trophy...which is as simple as saving the game, spending all your money, leaving the inn, and then coming back. Trophy pops, then you load your save to get your money back. Takes 30 seconds. :shame:
In 3D Dot Heroes, only 4.75% of players have the "play spelunker mode difficulty for 10 hours" trophy and that you can get by just starting a character with the name "spelunker" and playing the 1-hit death mode difficulty for 10 hours (which you could literally just leave the game running for 10 hours to get). That's compared to 4.42% of people who actually beat spelunker mode.

Oh shit, I thought I was crazy the other day when I seen a green Coke. I guess it was a green Coke, though.
Yeah, the article said they released it in the southern states in August. We southerners love our sweet drinks.

Coca-Cola (CCE) has already been selling its stevia soda, Coca-Cola Life, in Argentina, Chile, Great Britain and Mexico. The product made its U.S. debut in August, but only in Southern states like Georgia, Florida and North and South Carolina. In November, Coca-Cola Life goes nationwide.

Was just reading an opinion that this Shadows of Mordor game has fun combat, but it is very repetitive. Agree or disagree?
I hate when people (not you) throw around the word "repetitive" like it's a terrible thing and automatically implies anti-fun. Things can be both fun and repetitive. I really enjoy the Dynasty Warriors games, so I have a higher tolerance for repetition before it becomes downright boring (e.g., Thief).

Anyway, I can't really answer--all I know is that I'm having a blast doing whatever the heck I want, even if a lot of it is fighting orcs.

It's as repetitive as you make it, there are plenty of different ways to approaching combat, and the different missions give you enough variety....

Yeah I can't think of too many video games that aren't repetitive. As you said is it fun? Is there some variety to the game to keep it interesting?

Is Checkers really a popular burger place somewheree? We have a couple of them, but they are only in the deep hood where no white people can get to.

The two I can go to are not really in the ghetto but they are not in what I would call nice areas either. One is near USF which is ghetto, but not that kind of ghetto. The other is in a redneck part of town near work.

With the way GCU works, games like this are must buys, and they also support the developer because they don't lose money when we trade in. Buy it for $52 after tax, get $10. play and beat game in a month, trade back in for $44... make $2.
If supporting the developer is what motivates you, how exactly does trading it in for the game to be resold as used support the developer?

???

I think I'd like it, but I'm too cheap to buy it now and too slow playing games to be able to take advantage of a high trade-in value.

We all know that someone calls a game repetitive when they dont like it.  If you enjoy whatever the game asks you to do you just call it fun.

free wheat thins? I didn't know it was valentine's day already.
So with you working at Bugles, is it frowned upon to have Doritos or Cheetos for lunch in the cafeteria? Similar to a Coca Cola employee trying to enjoy a Mt. Dew?

Sure, you can get away with it, but if you want to climb up that corporate ladder, you've got to be a team player.

Are you allowed to eat any other candy besides Skittles?

I finished Lego Batman 2 (Vita) on lunch. It was so much fun I'm actually considering 100% it. I'll probably come to my senses in a little bit.

Something I thought was interesting, I've always considered myself to be into handheld gaming. The most games I've finished on a handheld were on both the GBA and the original DS. It was 28 for each platform. The Vita has no games but I hit 28 today with finishing Lego Batman 2 and can't imagine I'll stop playing it any time soon. As for the 3DS I've only finished 7. So with all this taken into account...Vita is the best handheld ever!
