I just got offered Fred Jackson for Ryan Matthews in my other league. I'm thin at RB with Matthews being hurt so I'm awfully tempted. Don't want him to come back and burn me, but Fred seems to be equal with Spiller in terms of overall fantasy production.

What say you football geeks?

Just noticed Seahawks are Monday night...sucks you have to wait one more day after a bye week. Should be a walk in the park game for them though.
Man, after playing the first Thursday night game, that felt like a bye week till the next game (same for you I'm sure), and now this. Then the San Diego game was just...weird. Ready for the season to get going already.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough in the sentence *immediately* preceding the one you quoted, but I'm referring specifically to the combat and gunplay. Not the suite of MP modes, maps or other ancillary things. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way. Thanks for trying.
You are sooooo correct sir, you are confusing as shit.

"I even really enjoyed the multiplayer, unlike Uncharted."

And no no, thank YOU sir for explaining. In no way did your second sentence imply it was an extension of the first.

You don't have to justify your opinion. But I still think you are on an island.

If you are thin at RB, I would do the trade. As you hang on to Matthews for 2, 3 more weeks and hope he comes back and is productive, you could be losing THIS week, next week, and your season is over.

The reason I'm hesitating is because Matthews is my only other RB that actually starts besides Ellington. But again, if he's not playing he's not doing me any good.

I had a super awesome idea while driving this morning. I'm not going to say what it is until I'm done with it, but it's going to so good. It involves all of you, so keep saying funny shit. Especially you, Peter.

Well, at the moment, Spiller and Jackson have both been producing starter numbers even though they are sharing the load.

I get jumping between a game or two, I do that, but I noticed Snakeys sig says he is playing like 15 games at once and that I could/would never do. I would get lost @-@
Probably because he has access to a lot more games than I do.

Jumping between multiple games (besides them being on a couple different systems like PS3, PS4, Vita, 360) is just me being spoiled from being a couple decades removed from the days of getting 1 or 2 games at Christmas and having those last for the entire year.

I'm at 35% on SoM. Only on 7/20 for the story missions, but a lot of the other stuff is closer to 50%. Halfway through the next-to-last tier both for abilities and weapon upgrades. Combat has become a lot better and a lot worse at the same time; moves and abilities are now varied enough that I can dominate an entire army of orcs pretty much endlessly, but the army just goes on and on and more because orcs keep arriving as I kill them.

Did quite a few of the randomly generated missions (the orange ones) trying to get decent runes and ability upgrades, but I think I'll scale back on those and just focus on the story, weapon quests, and collectibles.

BTW the survivor and hunter missions aren't very fun at all. The survivor ones because the map plants show up on is so tiny (maybe there's a way to zoom out--I haven't checked) and hunter ones for the same reason. Right now I'm supposed to kill rats but it seems like I never see the damn things while I'm wandering around.
I killed one rat that I stumbled across while wandering on the left side of the map, but the other four died while (in the same area) I randomly detonated campfires with surrounding orcs. Maybe you should blow up random campfires in the same general region?

I'm on a 69 day streak. :D/

Not a ton of trophies over that time (463), but I'm at least getting in a bit of gaming every day.
88-day streak with 821 trophies over here. :whee:

I found rats around the campgrounds. But they're hard to see unless you're in wraith vision.

Started Rainbow Moon on the Vita last night. I'll be damned if Sony thinks they can give away a game before I start my copy that I paid for.

That's right, showed them! You feel me slappin' you Sony??

Fun so far. But seems to scream repetitive.

How far in are you? The beginning is a bit dull because you start with one action a turn, but it doesn't take long to get to 3 actions per turn which has a huge impact on the feel of the game.

I've got my speed up so I can take a couple turns in a row, and I am able to do the multiple actions each turn, just two though, not three yet.

You get three really early, I think by level 10. Your 2nd character (you get her in under 2 hours) doesn't get her 3rd action until around 17, but she's an archer and the first skill she gets lets her target about half the screen. After that it's quite a while before you get character #3.

I'm def at 2 hours, but.don't have her yet. Problem is I've been grinding a bit first to build up speed and strength.

You probably don't want to do that, tbh. New characters join at (I believe) a fixed level, so if you level up a lot you'll have the new person be weak in comparison. That'd be fine on its own but only the character that kills an enemy gets rainbow coins, so you'll end up having to play catch-up with the new guy. Rainbow coins are a slow grind, too, so i's a pain in the ass and is really the only complaint I have about the game.

BTW you can only field 3 of the 6 characters at a time, so once you get the group you plan to use you can just level the hell out of them and that'll be fine. Y

Wow, you guys are crazy gamers. There's been a number of days where I just got a single trophy to keep the streak alive. I can't imagine playing enough to get ~14 trophies per day.

Honestly, you cant really go by that. It is not normal production for me. In that time I have played a lot of Japanese Visual Novels that give you a ton of trophies in just a few hours. In fact so far today I have played 4 complete games and that is counted in that number. Anybody could do that if they had a link to the guide and the game. No real skill involved except not falling asleep.

I tried using a mobile hotspot on my phone to connect the vita at work. I would imagine it would eat up a lot of data actually playing off that, right?

I was working on a streak, actually around this time last year, and then TT for some reason said it was broken, even though it recorded me earning trophies that day. I think Jay had the same issue. At that point, I said fuck it.

I have a 30 day streak from last May when I first got my vita, and the whole GameSpy shutdown was going on so I was putting in work. After that it drops down to a 12 day.

Ok, thanks for that info. I'll cease the grinding.

I'm not saying anything you don't already know, but it would depend on the game. Killzone MP will eat much more data than a game that just accesses PSN for leaderboard info.

Are you using it for MP or just stay connected to PSN to update trophies and messages?

I just did it to sync trophies, but I was thinking of how it'd go to play say Dragons Crown or something...I assume that'd take up a lot of data, but maybe I can earn some smart as stars from here

I have no idea as to data usage on games, but is it comparable to streaming videos?

Tyler I had a great lunch which was a Chili Cheese Dog with a small fry and used a free corn dog stick. After I ate lunch I noticed I won another free corn dog. Damn I love FREE corn dogs.

The girl even mentioned today that I win corn dogs all the time. I told her it probably won't be the last win.

It sounds to me like she was flirting with you.
