With Dragon Age: Inquisition up next for me in November, I think I can wait for FC4 to drop to $20 or less in a few months. It is from Ubisoft, after all.

Do you own a regular Vita as well? Just asking since it looks like you only played one game that was definitely on the Vita after a quick card check.
Yeah, I've played Uncharted and PvZ. Also did a lot of the FFX grinding on a plane ride. I only really play it when I travel since I can't stand playing portable on my couch.

In Minecraft Vita description:
I am wondering how the controls on the Vita will work, so it might use the touch screen. The console version uses both sets of shoulder buttons so something has to be mapped to touch I assume.

I used to think I would be the same way. Now I use Vita time to catch up on my DVR backlog. Are you going to play the Lego Vita games now that you have the PS TV and Gamefly?

Other than the 3rd-person perspective, they're entirely different games, so I'm definitely not looking for a replacement to SoM, just the next fun game to play.
i am interested in the game, but i don't think i would get it at release date. i wonder if it would drop to $10 like resident evil 6 within a year.

But the Vita TV uses a PS3 or PS4 controller. If they haven't figured out a way to map to those extra triggers then they definitely did this thing wrong.

It isn't that simple. If the game itself is not coded to have both sets of inputs wtf can the hardware do about it?

If one game has the R2 mapped to a rear touch press, but another has it mapped to front screen swipe how does it deal with both of those?

Take a picture of how small it is next to some stuff, gaming websites seem to like to do that.

I might. I love those damn Lego games. But I have a bunch of stuff I want to play first, like the Dangan Ronpa games and P4 Golden.

Then the whole thing is misconceived. They needed to have a solution for this.

I wish I liked RPGs, that is the vast majority of what Gamefly has for the Vita now. At least they finally added TWD and TWAU to the coming soon list (it was pretty much just RPGs). Otherwise, Lego Batman 3 might have been the last Vita game I would have ever added to my Q.

That really is tiny, though. Anxious to hear impressions. Also hopefully you can test out MInecraft on it (demo!). Does it use the extra triggers on the DS3/DS4?

I know there are some that may not have a PS4 that would like to know, but why are you so interested in the way the Vita version of Minecraft works on this thing? You could just stream the PS4 version. Just curious.

Calling in sick to work after a bad night of insomnia and restless legs.

Okay, it's noon on the west cost and the store isn't fully updated?

I know, just kind of makes me wonder with Vita sales low and more powerful cell phones all the time what's next for handheld gaming? I don't want to stream everything all the time. Are we going to just have PS controllers synced to our phones at some point with real software support? Or, do we keep getting dedicated handhelds? I'm for dedicated but seems like the writing is on the wall, which really sucks.

It's weird though. You can now get Skylanders Trap Team (full real game) for tablets now. Granted you need new hardware but it exists. I can't imagine other games won't follow.

Is Jimmy John's any good? If so, what's the sandwich to get? They just opened one close to my work, might have to try it out at some point.

Sure I have, that's just remote play though. I don't want to have to be connected to a hotspot and stream all the time. I'm talking about dedicated games that can be downloaded.
That is your answer though.

Sony wont make another handheld after this.

I love Jimmy Johns. Have only eaten there once since college, but the beach club and slim tuna are my go tos. You really can't go wrong though. The worst sub there will be better than any subway sub.
