I seriously wouldn't be surprised at this point. I understand removing things like the Templar cheese method, and even if they get rid of being able to push Atheon off the edge, but removing something that's a legitimate strategy is entirely fucking stupid. In every single game, every single boss, the strategy is to figure out what that boss does, and try to work around it. Find a pattern and beat it. With every patch, Bungie is basically saying "People are better at our game than we want them to be, so we're going to keep making it harder." People are going to keep coming up with strategies, and they're going to keep patching them to the point that all guns do 1 damage, all enemies are invisible, supers take an hour to charge, and anything can kill you in one hit. But don't worry, they'll throw a random "good" patch in that will increase a loot drop somewhere so they'll fool us into thinking they're actually making their game better.

Also, as I did the daily story mission with three characters today, the only thing I could think was how easy it was to get my five shards, and how there's no doubt that it's going to be patched within a month to make it so you can only get one reward from the daily story, weekly strike, and nightfall.
 
Sony says PS+ members have doubled since Destiny was released?  That would explain all the issues lately.

I finally beat the Darklurker and victory is mine. It must of took me 15 times so getting that soul was great. Thanks Guardian Owl for the tips.

Even if you preferred Striker, how do you not have the other class maxed out yet?

And I think I'm done with Destiny. PvE was lackluster and doesn't have enough content to keep me interested. PvP was a lot of fun but I've played over 300 crucible matches so I think it's about time I move on to something else. I'll probably come back when the DLC comes out and give it a run, and maybe I'll come back for those raid trophies when they raise the level cap to 50 and they're easy as hell to get.

Really regretting that I already used my season pass code from the limited edition... probably should have just sold it.

I only use the toilets at work since the urinals at my place have bad splashback. No way am I going to have sprinkles of piss on my pants while I'm working. I do wipe the toilet afterwords if that makes it any better.

It's a shame so many Vita games are digital only. Can't GS, and can't get any money back by reselling. Always have to wait for a sale to retain my cheap bastard status. :(

It's ok, I'm renting drive club, so I'll be playing that a bunch. Plus I need something like 40 shards, so it's going to be a while. Bungie will probably patch it to take 100 shards per equip to max before I get there.

Also, I'll probably be streaming some drive club later.

And I think I've taken one shit in a public restroom in the last 15 years. It's probably been even longer (20+), but I'll say 15 to be sure. It was in a Best Buy a few years ago, and I didn't have a choice that day due to a questionable breakfast burrito from Dairy Queen. I destroyed that bathroom.

Same here. I actually called today because I thought the policy was 15 days, but the lady on the phone told me 20. I've been doing this promo a few years now and in my experience if I don't see anything by now, it ain't coming. Just gotta wait out the 20 days I guess.

Yea I saw the 20 day thing. Its in the BBY thread. Im gonna wait till the 20 days and then call them. In the past I always had my cert by now.

I'm in the same boat so well. On an unrelated note, ebola has struck the town I live in and caused a power outage. Or the outage could have been caused by a squirrel or something.

The nemesis system in Shadow of Mordor is probably the coolest gaming mechanic innovation I've seen in... I don't even know how long.   I've spent hours just hunting captains, and have only played one story mission so far.   So much fun.

In regard to damage penalty, that's true. You only need to be at the level of the enemies to have a level playing field. However, your defense and attack stats still matter. And if you're level 50, the gear you have would give you some ridiculous defense.
 
Who knows shit about computers? My wife has a Samsung laptop that's a little over a year old. Recently, the keyboard just decides to stop working. At first I thought maybe a loose connection inside could be the issue, but doing a restart fixes it 100% of the time. Could it be some kind of software/driver thing?

The problem getting better with a restart would make me think that it isn't a driver issue, but typically the first thing you should do, if you haven't already, is make sure all of the drivers are updated. If that doesn't work then if there was recently an update (last few days or so) to anything, I would try doing system restore. If that still doesn't work, google the problem with the model of the laptop and see if it's something anyone else has experienced

It could be that she's "removing" the keyboard. If it's set up as a USB keyboard internally it's possible to kill it in the "Safely Remove Hardware" dialogue down by the clock. Of course once you do that the only way to get the system to recognize it again would be to open it up and reseat the cable or reboot and have it re-detect that way.

Yes, actually. So far the only time she's noticed it is when she had it unplugged all day while at school. It did it for me once as well, and it was unplugged at the time. Now that she has it plugged in, it's not doing it and it was doing it about every 15 minutes earlier when unplugged.
