I wasn't sure if it was about whoknows

The bugles interview process sent me through three interviews totaling 8+ hours and 7 different people across three different days. Then through two different hiring committees after that. I'd make out with a porcupine for a 10 question interview right now.
Jesus. How is that possibly efficient? Were you interviewing to be the new CIO or something?

No, although the primary hiring manager told me about her experience and it was actually worse. Additionally there's huge gaps between every step, so it took about two and a half months. Now I've started the process again because apparently I'm a moron.

Playstation Store (on the web) has a new logo. Why didn't anybody report this yet???

I might get Mirror's Edge, but I don't know if I'll ever play it. Portal 2 is sort of tempting, but I've played through it on 360 and not sure I need to buy it on PS3 too. Might as well just play it again on 360 if I want to play it again….

That's rough dude. Like I said, unless it's for senior administrative positions, I don't see how any company benefits from creating such long lead times for hiring. Maybe because it's such a popular company like Bugles they get 100,000's of applications or something...

a few driveclub impressions. i'll stream when i unlock something cool to drive. it's the usual start with vw golf/mini coopers

cockpit view is incredible. the cars look great on the inside, and the sense of speed gets intense at times

tracks are a lot of fun so far. everything here is new(to me). lots of tight spaces(and go!)

ai is pretty good. i'm not able to blow them out like i do on forza/nfs games. biggest lead i've had so far was 5-6 seconds.

face off challenges are a neat idea, but a huge distraction in the race to me. often times trying for one will cost you your position, or lap times you're going for

stupid point deductions. hitting walls i can understand i guess, but big points for hitting other cars. the ai is pretty aggressive, so if you can't get out in front quick, they'll cost you a lot of points

events are the standard racing fare. time trials, hotlaps(running start, keep driving til you want to stop), drifting, and ofc races

i haven't run into any customization for cars besides paint. designs can be unlocked through leveling, same with the cars. which is where the points come in.

i've only beat the first championship so far though. more stuff might open up later(i'm hoping)

It was an (apparently way too obscure) inside joke about another CAG who infrequently pops into this thread.

No fucking way would I pay money for a game like that.
Yeah I am still an outsider I don't know all the inside jokes and the full history of everyone.

Hmm, I already own Scott Pilgrim but might get the bundle for the DLC.
I'm the same. I have Scott Pilgrim and the Knives DLC, but this is still the cheapest the Wallace DLC has ever been so it's better for me to just re-buy everything. Luckily it's a different file because it doesn't look like the store is refusing to let me buy it.

I need to do more research about the net code. And again, this would be a perfect game to play with a few CAGs, so hopefully some of you get it.

lol it's not even on the PS blog's list of games. I'll try to add it, but it probably won't be in alphabetical order.
So all you do is ctrlcctrlv huh? :)

Yeah, I was surprised when it showed up on the store page when looking at the games listed for the sale. Just giving you shit since it is the only thing I am planning to buy and I wanted to vote so I could see the other results.

Tylers copy and paste skills are elite.

Do you not follow the thread at all?

Oh yea, he's the new Frisky.

Something something coon avatar, something something racist.

Just don't vote, or null vote.

Usually, but this time I had to type it all out. It sucked.

And K I added it. Removed RE3 since it's kind of an oulier as the only PS1 game on the list. You can vote for it now. Especially since (I assume) it has online coop so you can see who else buys it.

I like all the old school arcade beat 'em up type games. Granted, a lot of that is nostalgia from playing them in the arcade.
Yeah I see that a lot with these type of games. Golden Axe, X-men Arcade, Simpsons, TMNT arcade, etc.

I never really played games in the arcade much (would rather save to buy a game instead) so when I play these games now they're SO dull to me.

The old school arcade beat em ups are really dull and boring. I play them purely for nostalgia and usually dont replay them.

When are we getting Bad Dudes? I played that all the time at the local pizza place.

I can understand that. I loved playing them, and I played them all for free. The arcade I went to sold a bag of 100 tokens for $10. I would buy a bag and then stand by the token machines. Those gave out 4 tokens for $1. I would give people 5 for a $1. I would then use the other 50 to play for the day.

I feel sorry for anyone who likes games and never played X-Men or Ninja Turtles on a 4 player arcade machine with 3 of their friends.

fuck you, no one cares what you think.

I might pick up Portal 2. I was interested in the game. Picked it up on XBox360 never played it and traded/sold it.
Since TAFKAP has not responded yet, I decided to fill in for him. You really should get it if you thought you might like it. I tend to hate first person perspective games, but that was one of (if not the) best games I played of the generation.

Project Diva finally on sale! You have no idea how excited I am by this. Yes I'm being 100% serious; I have no shame.
If I didn't already plat the PS3 version and have the sequel (which includes some songs from the first) preordered from Best Buy, I would have bought the Vita version for more trophies.

Otherwise...Scott Pilgrim is almost a definite buy for me. Giana Sisters is certainly tempting, especially with those elusive trophies (Gator mailed it). Has anyone here played Knytt Underground who could offer an opinion on it? I looked at gameplay, and I see its 100% completion is a 7/10 difficulty according to PST.org.
