Looks at the guys' website! (It's a 2 man studio)  They're so happy to be "part of Playstation Plus"!  They made 3 posts about the game being on sale for $1!

http://iventgames.com/

I'm guessing they wanted to probably get they're game free on PS+ and Sony said no (because the game isn't a very big name at all) so they decided to do a $1 sale for a month instead.

Oh and i followed that girl who was playing Alien and when my name popped up on the screen, she said nothing at all but when others follow her she says thanks.

It feels like something that once I get a handle on the entire moves list so that I can react and use the proper move to counter at the right time and master dash timing (which makes you invulnerable for about a second) I could be more successful more regularly. I also need to get better at picking off stragglers, injecting them with bomb fluid, and then saving it for when I need it instead of blowing them up immediately. There are just so many enemies on the screen some times that it is difficult to process it all.

Kind of funny we have someone in the Top 200 on PSN Profiles and someone outside the top 1,000,000 both in this thread.

By your standards most likely. Majority of my game collection is probably RPGs as that's what I was mainly into for awhile. It's branched out over the years.

Sanctum's controls are a bit rough, but beyond that the game should be a lot of fun with other people.  No doubt someone (Matt) will be far worse than the rest of us at it and will get yelled at for screwing shit up.

Sounds like me. But since you said something, it will probably be you. I look forward to showing you how to play.

Dope. Got the titan raid helmet and legendary sparrow from cheesing atheon. Still can't hit 30, though. Unless I can get some gauntlets from an engram through Xur or some shit.

Either my skills have severely diminished since college, or the Very Easy difficulty label on the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection is a dirty fucking liar.

Vita, but I could have sworn you asked the same question in this thread... :whistle2:k

Anyway, it's only really good if you've been following the series from the very beginning up to the current arc released here in the U.S. (Dressrosa), as there are lots of references to recent stuff. The plat won't exactly be a cakewalk, but I'm definitely gunning for it.
Is Akiba's Trip any good?

I was on this one stream of Walking Dead that had a chick who makeup'd her face to look like a cat and she totally read my comments and laughed! I think we're gonna bone now but I have to donate or something. I'm going to send her $500 and see where it goes.
I really need to get the other half on this twitch thing. She has huge cans and overreacts to everything that happens in horror films. Plus she really sucks at games. She'd probably ruin it by saying stuff like 'wow, you're really stupid for sending me money to watch me be the worst gamer of all time,' though.

She also hates playing games. So there's that, too.

That's exactly why I avoided it in this flash sale. There's cheap-but-bearable AI and then there's "Why the hell did I waste $2.49 to be required to do this most of the time, even on "Very Easy"?" AI.

Started looking at the trophies for games I've launched at some point but never really played. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is absolutely ridiculous. 10/10 for the plat difficulty and most of the trophies are for insane amounts of repetitive bullshit. Only 4/47 trophies have higher than 50% completion.

Fighting games are for crazy people.

Pete has that plat. Impressive huh?

Should I buy LEGO Marvel now as a Christmas present for my son or wait? It's $14.99 at Amazon. I guess all I could really hope to do is save about $5 more.

Also, anyone know if there are any real differences between the PS3 and PS4 versions?

Just the graphics.

Hmm, PS3 version looks brighter to me. I'd have to buy an extra controller for PS4 (once I get one) before we could play together anyway, and I've already bought him Skylanders Swap Force on PS3 for Christmas. Might as well stick with PS3 for his games for at least another year.

Very. I think it felt perfect on Vita, though you have to accept a bit of slowdown when you enter new areas and wait for NPCs to load. I said this a while ago, but it reminded me of River City Ransom in several ways, and the localization/script was fantastic (I played with original Japanese voices).

I'll likely get it again on PS4 a few months down the road since I liked it enough that I'll go for the plat a second time.

honestly the hard part is the mission mode - all of the 'do X Y times' trophies will come naturally if you try to get the 100 ranked wins legit (except for probably crossover counters). if you boost then you have to be mindful of them as some of them require the other player to be doing something (attacking, trying to do a tac, etc). mission mode actually made me think I'd fucked up my hands though, they hurt for the next week.

grindy mortal kombat list - THAT'S some grindy stuff. I'll never be able to plat it because I think it takes something like 500 total fights, a shitton of xrays/fatalities _and_ leaving the vita on for 24 total hours 12 times or so. street fighter 4 also has that C to Shining C trophy which requires 20 ranked wins for each character.
