PSN Off-Topic - Happy Thanksgiving Chumps and Chumpettes!

They had to bundle graces and xillia. Really only wanted xillia. Where the hell is my monster monpiece sale? If I had bought it release, there would have been several.

Unless somebody knows the game is disc-only then that has no bearing on whether somebody would buy this thinking it's the game itself. And even if they knew it was disc-only, that doesn't mean they won't assume that the game got added to PSN after release.

The "Other Addons" is a valid point, but with the game being under a Combo label it could also be taken to mean that the item for sale is the game + some of the DLC, with other addons being additional DLC. But again you have to get past some other stuff and then scroll to the bottom of the page to even see that.

Really, though...the PSN store is not well-designed at all. That goes way beyond just the stupid inability to filter the download list. :wall:

Higher difficulties seem to be harder, lol. go fig. I never had problems with invisible dudes before, but now even in ch4 they are just all over the asylum. and now regular enemies, even starting from ch5 are packing explosive bolts. Luckily more of them are carrying torches/axes, so that's a nice instant kill most of the time. I have no idea how this is gonna go on 1hit kill mode...

im trying to get better at kiting, using freeze/flash bolts and upgrading handgun crit and sprint...

You really need a PS4 man, I'd definitely watch you stream these games. I like your playing style.

The other Naruto: Hyper dimension storm extreme whoop whoop whoop 3 DLCs have "pack" at the end and some of them are listed under combo so it's probably just an oversight that they don't have "pack" at the end of the title name of that item. They probably figured listing "DLC" on the first line of text was sufficient.

Can anyone one tell me if the Sega Saturn style usb pads still work with the PS3? I remember a long time ago people saying they did but at one point I thought they said they removed the functionality? I'm wondering because if it works I'll get rid of my Street Fighter Fightpad on the 360.

also Joseph is a beast on ch6 with that axe, but I have no idea how Im gonna kill that evil dog without getting hit on Akuma, it is hard enough already.

I'll have to give this a try when I play that on Akumu. On Survival, I just double-tapped him with the double-barrel shotgun as he lunged at me then shot him a few times when he fell to the ground.

Phantoms pay less because they can only download the game once and cannot access account again, but the games stays on system as long as you do not go into that particular account. You can play in on your main account just fine. Splits are usually 60/40 for ps4 games for re-sells versus phantoms. Splits are better for ps3 games because they can be shared on 4 systems (2 re-sells and 2 phantoms).

Yeah that whole conversation was really dumb.  I definitely didn't read any of it.  I'd rather go back and read Topside/Breakfuss' litte cat fight, but I'm not going to do that either.

I do like Therm though.

I didn't read any of it. Just skipped through it all to try and get answers about Pixeljunk. Which didn't even matter because it ended up being super easy once I figured it out.

But yeah, I wish it had online co op as well.

Haha, I totally thought it was Akuma off the street fighter bad guy, lol, I kept reading that Akumu is translated nightmare in Japanese, but I was just like yeah, Akuma 1 hit kill mode ;) thanks for setting me straight ;)

Yeah, Iced tea is my drink of choice. Normally sweet tea, but I'll do no sugar if I have to.

 
RBI Baseball is on sale for $10.  Wish it was $5 like it was for Xbone earlier today due to a pricing error.  Probably would give it a shot for $5.

Yeah, PS3. And you forgot the part where you hand the controller to your grrl and she starts killing everyone on her own team. :)

 
Finished up the Scott pilgrim graphic novels and started on the game. I always forget how terrible I am at beat em ups, but damn is that game beautiful. Fantastic soundtrack too

A little ahead of schedule on Re:CoM due to very rare weeknight playtime. Should have time to beat Portal and most of Outland before I start RE Revelations.
