Finished up Re:CoM. 9/10.

Should I watch the 358/2 days cutscenes now, or wait? I think I read somewhere that it kinda takes some of the mystery away from KH 2's story.

Just got back from John Wick. It was actually really solid. Same basic plot as The Equalizer, but completely different tone. Very very violent, but with some humor throughout. It actually had a very similar feel to Payback, if anybody remembers that. Even a bit of the blue tone thing going on that the original version of Payback had, too. Nice cast. Check it out if you've any interest in that kind of thing at all.

I like positive therm.

I'm glad that Keanu Reeves got another chance at doing movies. I thought his career was finished once he agreed to do those old spice commercials.

I think John Wick may be the first Keanu Reeves movie I've watched since Constantine.

No, wait...I just checked. The Day The Earth Stood Still. So 6 years ago.

So Armored Core V is more of a tactical game? Turn based? Slow paced?

Hmm... Dante's Inferno? What is the PSP/Vita version like?

Didn't I already ask this?

You sure did.

It's the exact same game. Only difference is in graphics, trophies, and the Divine Edition comes with the DLC while the PSP does not.

I beat Yama again in the Daily Challenge tonight. It's amazing how much easier the game is once you've beaten him once. Not that it's easy, easy. I'm currently 5th in the world (or whatever the region of the DC high scores is), but of course it's early so that will change.

Armored Core is a third person mech game. It's tactical in the sense that you build and customize your mech and it has a certain amount of HP and you can't regenerate it in a mission so you can't just go crazy.

It isn't turn based and I wouldn't consider it slow paced. There are different types of mechs that you can create that can be a really fast light mech or a slow tank kind of mech. I mean you don't really want to go crazy and get heavily damaged but there are melee weapons that do huge damage for getting in close. You incur repair fees for damage and ammo used that get deducted from what your rewards are for missions but eventually at least in my experience it wasn't that big of a deal.

Edit: Also Armored Core V and Armored Core Verdict Day are separate games. They use the same engine and you get some bonuses (may have just been bringing some of my existing mech parts) from having a V save. Verdict Day is newer and has the UNAC system that lets you have an AI partner since you can do every mission in the game in coop.

Race the Sun is fun. I played on Vita so far. I think the game has a bug that lets you advance levels faster than it should, though. It seems like if you complete a 1 star goal and complete a level as a result, on your next run you still have only one star left to advance to the next level. I.e. it doesn't wrap back to 0. So get the next 1 star goal and you go up another level. Etc. Getting a larger number of stars goal is actually a detriment as it wraps around and then you might have 2 or 3 left instead of just 1. I'd prefer that it worked right, though.

I'm not sure it's worth $10, but $5 would be a good price. It is rather addicting, though and I don't regret the purchase. I played quite a lot.

I'm not sure I'd ever 100% it. Some of the trophies sound impossible, at least for me.

Just bought the dark souls DLC for whenever I eventually get around to playing the main game.

Did it through the mobile store and it's probably by far the fastest, smoothest store experience.

Yeah George Bush only made it worse lol. I was playing some game online with randoms and they both went into some bugs bunny bit. They kept saying "hey George" in a weird cartoon voice and after about 3 straight minutes I just left.
Oh!!!!!

"Which way did it go George? Which way did it go?"

Was it this?

This DLC was worth the $15 when it launched so $2.50 is a no brainer. Glad to see someone in this thread is picking it up.

When it goes free via PS+, I vote Race the Sun for that month's tournament.

Beat the first 3 chapters of Korra. The first two are absolutely cake, but in the 3rd you get water bending back and start running into bending opponents. At that point you realize you're a squishy chick, which kinda sucks. The game definitely works in the counter and dodge system pretty strongly and it feels exactly like you'd expect a Platinum game to feel in combat once you start hitting the benders. Before that it feels kind of awkward.

There's really no story. No other characters so far aside from Korra. I don't know the Korra anime so I'm not missing anything there, but yeah Platinum put 0 effort into this part of the game.

The running part kind of sucks. I don't play runners, though. Maybe somebody that enjoys those will get more out of it. I expect that the trophy for finishing a flawless running level will be one of the harder ones.

Halfway through the game. Chapter 4 is probably as long as the previous 3 chapters put together. The people complaining about the counter-attack timing are just bad at the game, I think. There are different timings based on the moves of the person you're trying to counter, but that makes sense. The timing is consistent when dealing with the same move repeatedly.

I wonder if Tyler, Pharm, and whoever else got Shadow Warrior passed out from playing or something, because I would have expected at least quick impressions of it by now. :???:

The 5 million sounds crazy but then again, you might get some really helpful stuff once you reach level 25.

Its as expected. Fun run and gun old school shooter. The over the top cheesiness really works as well. I am only 3 chapters in though. Tyler was on Chapter 5 last night last I saw. He seemed to enjoy it so far as well. I like all the 8 bit easter eggs.

Cool. I'll probably pick Shadow Warrior up for $10-$15 later on; I would have gotten it at launch too, but The Evil Within has my undivided attention. :joystick:

So how do you do it? Do you have to let the other person have the password to your real account???
Not sure if this has been answered already but you give them the account info and let them download the game and set their ps4 to primary, once they are done downloading they should play on their main account and never log into the account the game was purchased on. You would then go into the account settings on the sen website and reset the devices associated with the account (under media and devices--->deactivate all). This can only be done once every 6 months. Once you have done that, login on your ps4 and make your ps4 the primary. Yo can both both play the game on your main accounts now.

Got to the final boss in The Evil Within last night (I think) and had to stop. Should be finishing it tonight. They really outdid themselves with the traps throughout Chapter 14. fuck

I spent an hour figuring out the last ch 10 evil within boss this morning. I think this no upgrades thing has finally come back to haunt me. I've avoided reading guides / spoilers / etc and have a working strategy for the first form, but the second form ... I'm hoping he freezes well or something?
