Weird. My friend got a phone call from Chael Sonnen because of some argument on twitter and he recorded it. Most awkward minute and a half conversation ever.

blah blah blah--- I am only down 39 points going into Monday night-- I am currently looking for a bridge with a low railing-

As for your fantasy football skills ( more like my lack of skills ):

Well, the fact that I had no def and at least on player not playing this week and I'm still going to win just proves that fantasy football is retarded. Sorry Lorain, I literally couldn't have tried less this week.

Yeah, I'm not going to go for the plat. That pro-bending is super boring and will be obnoxious in the later levels. Not really dying to play through it again either, too much other cool stuff to play.
Pro-bending is actually not bad at all if you have your elements leveled up first. I tried it with Earth maxed out but Water and Fire low. I couldn't get through the highest difficulty. After maxing them out it was cake.

If Fatality is in here, please PM me your address. Chris hasn't gotten a response so he can send it out.

Thanks to Crunchewy for the donation and Tyler! Even our old buddy rlm donated. I'm having Chris run winners/names by me to try to match you guys with prizes for consoles you own. He made a mistake with one of them and is currently trying to make that up to that person. I'm sure he'll post. Sorry for the inconvenience.

If any of you have any problems/questions, feel free to PM me. We're really thankful! :)

Cleaner and her pal Chris are awesome. My prize accidentally got sent to Munky. I was going to redeem the codes on a dummy PS4 account to share with other people, but Munky got greedy and redeemed them for himself. Even though he totally knew he had my prize. But Cleaner and Chris were super generous and hooked me up with a new prize. So I'm donating more to them since I technically got two prizes for the donation requirement of one.

Bottom line, Munky sucks and he should be shunned for a minimum of 30 days.

Just got back to SoM. Knocked out two warchiefs on the first try without getting anywhere close to dead even though I could barely remember the controls.  :wall:

I have to say the ranger is a huge asshole, though. Not sure why he hated Gollum on site--I can't recall anything to justify that, though it's been a bit since I touched the game so maybe I've forgotten. The whole thing with Ratbag makes me question the game context of orcs being worthless as well since he's pretty heavily humanized. It's an easy out from portraying violence against humans, but with the way the game plays the orcs could be replaced with humans pretty easily and there'd be no difference in the narration or feel of the game.  :whistle2:k

Game Informer gives Lords of the Fallen an 8.5.

Don't really read Gamespot that much but they gave it an 8.

While I might get Lords of the Fallen later (whether through my library if it gets it or for <$20 through Gamefly/wherever), what is it with developers being unable to write good stories nowadays?

(From GameInformer's review)

The story is lackluster and mostly gets in the way of the action when it comes up, but the different choices you make in regards to your NPC interactions add some weight and agency to your non-combat gameplay. Basically, you’re the badass criminal imprisoned by the nation you end up saving from certain doom, and you do meet a few characters along the way like a fellow adventurer with her own mysterious goals, some deserters, and a stereotypical “you’re criminal scum and can’t change” captain, but they’re all one-dimensional irritants that can’t hold a conversation any better than a sword.
First Shadow of Mordor's story was pretty boring, then The Evil Within's plot wasn't very interesting (or at least it functioned as DLC bait), and now LotF? :whistle2:k

vig, if your gonna be in this thread you gotta stop posting news thats ancient bruh
Since Telltale hasn't released anything on it other than a few teaser images and we're about to enter November, it wouldn't have been unreasonable to think that the game wouldn't release until 2015, so it's cool for Telltale to put our minds at ease.

Beat Bayonetta 2 this morning. It was good but felt a lot shorter than the first one. Maybe I'm crazy. There were 16 chapters but at least a third of them were super short (boss fights, vehicle section). All in all it was marginally better than the first one, which is fine since the first one was so great. The new weapons were cool (I discovered you can switch between two "loadouts" with the press of a button, so my complaint earlier about never wanting to change weapons doesn't really apply). And there were some epic fights, but I didn't feel like anything quite reached the heights of the final boss in the first one (where you're in some sphere in space fighting a giant dude). Haven't tried the co-op game yet, but I'm not sure how fun that could be for a game like this anyway.

The first game did let you switch loadouts at will as well, just FYI.

Anybody start on Freedom Wars yet? I'm curious if the reception here will be better than Japan's since we're getting it with the balancing patch from day 1.
