I would but it seems like it would be a crazy hassle to ship. Can you even ship beer legally without a license or something? And I'd have to wrap each bottle in bubble wrap or something to keep the shippers from destroying them when they fling the box around.
Yeah, logistically, it doesn't make sense. It is against the law through the USPS right now. They are considering changing that since they know they could make some $$ off of beer nerds like me. You can do it through FedEx and UPS, but even then you have to lie and say it is not liquids since it is against their policy unless it is coming from an alcohol licensed place. Not to mention it would be another $30 or $40 to ship it. I have done it before, but it is a royal pain in the ass. I am going to head up to NC the next couple of weeks, but to Asheville instead of Charlotte. I kind of want to hit Hickory too which would make Charlotte possible, but I doubt I'll have the time. So me picking them up wouldn't work either. Otherwise, I would definitely buy you one to get me a handful of them.

they weren't owned by McDonalds ever, Mcdonalds simply invested int he company to see it grow and then slowly divested itself and made some money. it has always been run by a local Colorado guy here, and he wanted to expand, Mcdonalds allowed him to expand rapidly and become the company it is today. Just FYI when you throw out a term that Mcdonalds is why you consider it fast food. it is actually considered Fast Casual, which is a term for a better fast food...
My bad. Gah I knew I should have looked that up. It was either that or Boston Market. I saw a show on Netflix and it discussed at length Chipotle's involvement with McDonalds which compelely shocked me. Thought it was more than a cash injection.

And, yeah, fast casual is probably a more fitting description. Definitely better than typcial fast food. I didn't mean it in a demeaning way, just that it wasnt fair to compare it to a local restaurant. I think the Chipotle guys are trying to do the same thing with Chinese or sushi now.

@Bums I think your criticism of their pricing is fair, but like you said they use all organic ingredients, man. Not sure what they pay employees either. They occupy a weird space.

Y'all remember or have the old Mexican chain Chi Chi's? It was started and owned by former Packers WR & radio announcer Max McGee. May have been a midwest only place. But the best part is that the restaurant name translates to "tits" in english. They had some damn good housemade chips and salsa at Tits.
Man, Chi Chi's was the best. When I was little my family would go out to eat every Saturday and we'd alternate Chi Chi's and the Cheasapeake Bay Seafood House. Good times.

I want to try an $18 beer.
That is actually pretty cheap for a special release beer like that. Most of them are at least $20 for a 22 oz bottle. If you ever come to Atlanta, I will share a $20 bottle with you. I can make no promises that the one $70 bottle I still have will still be around or else I would offer that one.

Omg you have chops!!!!
Those aren't chops. These are goddamn chops!:

Are there any cool beers/breweries in Utah?

Has anyone been to ShopHouse?  There are only a few around LA and DC, but it's thai and other southeast asian food done in the style of (and by the same people as) chipotle.

Good call going bald when the hair on your face exceeded the hair on your head though.
Yeah my hairline has been going back steadly for the last lots of years. Always wanted to just shave it all but never had the balls. Finally just said fuck it as I walked by a Great Clips on my way to work.

Now all the ladies be like DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN

(not really they mainly just get out of the way of the freaky bald guy)

Epic is the best one of the ones I have tried beers from. Epic Big Bad Baptist is really really good.

I have liked almost everything of theirs I have tried. Uinta is more widely distributed and well known, but I do not like their stuff as much.
Cool, I will look for one of those next time I'm in the liquor store to see if they have them. I actually have never been to their brewery even though it's not as "downtown" as I though. (I don't really like going downtown). Maybe I'll go there one day and check it out.

I like Cutthroat from Uinta and Full Suspension from Squatters.

It looks like the last batch of this was made 2 weeks ago. It was brewed in their Colorado facility instead of Salt Lake, but I see people in that link mentioning having it at the Salt Lake tap room. In fact, the post was from today. You should give it a try. Take FWB and even if she isn't normally a beer drinker she might like their Brainless line of fruit beers (not a joke, they call them that).

If anyone in this thread was considering trading in games to Walmart during their 50%/100% trade-in bonus promo when you buy Advanced Warfare/a PS4, you might want to check your games' TIVs as they tanked a bunch of the popular ones.

So do you drink beers all classy-like, a certain way and paired with certain foods and everything?
I have been to beer dinners where it is multiple courses where the chef picks beers to compliment/contrast the food. They are fun, but in general I would rather have more to spend on the beer also having a high priced meal with it. Every Friday I go to my friend's house and we pull a few beers from our shared cellar and drink them while hanging out.

If you like those 2, they are more on the hoppy side. Big Bad Baptist is more rich and thick. Strong coffee and chocolate flavors along with vanilla hints from the barrel aging. It will be very different. Oddly, I do not ever remember seeing a hoppy style beer from Epic. Looking through their list of hoppy beers, I have never heard of them. It is mainly the fruit beers, Belgian-styles, and stouts that I have seen on shelves and heard mention of.

Did ham replace cheese in gaming lingo? I just can't keep up with all the gaming lingo...took me awhile to understand wtf "ads" were in Destiny. Can we find a way to incorporate corndogs and mayo into the gamers lexicon?
sure.

the first time I played pix the cat I mayoed all over the rug with my corndog.

and my rest mode problem went away after the first time. sucks that something changed under the hood that apparently fucked up an actual game's function though, that seems extremely unusual.

Seriously, where the hell is everyone? Zombie apocalypse? Destiny raid? Cheap-ass nasty corn dogs?
Well they switched to https so anyone like he has spent the last 40 minutes trying to remember which was my password (as it was saved to the browser) and then having to wait 15 minutes every 2 tries because it locks you out.

These numbers seem pretty close to accurate.
