Absolutely, because you could have one person use their Goliath each round. That way you're not waiting until the end for it to recharge. Hell, even just two people would make it go a lot faster, but three and four would be even better.

I'm not going to just throw my PS3 down when I get a PS4, but I do want to finish most of my backlog before I get one because of this. I'm down to 35 PS3 games minus the 2 or 3 I still plan on buying. If I keep chiseling away at it, it should be very manageable by the time I get my PS4.

Usually what it comes down to for me is file size. I wait till games are pretty cheap and then buy them, then by the time I get around to finishing them they aren't worth more than $0.25 to $3 in trade-in anyway. I paid a little more for physical Ni No Kuni because it was fuck ing 22 gigs and my internet is not that fast. I imagine I'll be buying very few PS4 retail releases via digital download for that reason when I get a PS4.

Wait a minute...why is the PS3 version a larger download than the PS4 version of Lego Marvel?

I always said "Oh yeah when I get a PS4 I'll still play PS3 games."

I was a fucking liar.

 
So I know this seems like something a lot of people don't hope for, but I really really really hope that GTA V has a shared trophy list between PS3 and PS4. That way I can just pick up where I left off on PS3 and not have to do those stupid MP trophies again.

 
Even though I've had a PS4 since launch I secretly wish there was a way for me to just dump my PS3 and start fresh. The thing is there are just so many great games to play. Not exactly a bad problem to have.

I'm afraid that'll happen to me as well, which like I said is the main reason I keep holding off. This is one of the reasons I wanted backwards-compatibility. I understand why we don't have it and am not that upset over it, but it'd be an easier transition if I could play all my games on one console. That, and it'd save me a good bit of money by being able to trade or sell my PS3.

Honestly, I kind of have this same hope. I got tired of the PS3 version, but I might be willing to play it on PS4 if I could just pick up where I left off. What trophies would they add for the PS4 version, anyway--First-Person Mode ones?

"Borderlands" - Play 5 missions exclusively in First-Person Mode

"Nice Car" - Drive a car for _ miles/minutes while in First-Person Mode

"Don't Touch the Upholstery" - Have 5 conversations with a passenger while driving a car in First-Person Mode

So I just got my GCU coupons, can the 10% off a digital purchase be used on a PSN card or has to be used on a digital game? I also got a mystery rewards e-mail, don't think I've ever gotten one of those...check your inboxes. 

 
I've got over 100 PS3 games in my backlog. I'm not expecting to move to PS4 for another 2-3 years. I just bought my PS3 about a year ago, though, so I've got plenty of exclusives to catch up on.
