You can have them shipped to your house and still get the cert.
It actually works better that way.

Buy online for the full price in advance, get game day of release in the mail, cert in account within 15 days.
I usually pre-order my games online for either ship to home or instore pickup. You'll get your $10 certificate around 15 days (usually sooner) after purchase. As long as you pre-order and pick up game/ship to home within a week you'll get your $10 certificate.
:whistle2:k    :D Thanks guys the wording on the site was a little vague, guess I'm a noob when it comes to GCU, it's good to know they can be shipped to my house.

I thought ALL Xbox users love multiple discs games. Sony never gave us that love.
Well that wasn't necessary since PS3 games were on Blu Rays. There were a few PS3 games that pushed the limit of one BD, though (I remember reading Kojima saying that about MGS5,). I would be surprised if we don't end up with 2 disc games at some point this gen. Let me rephrase that: I hope that we end up with 2 disc games at some point this gen, because the alternative is going to be huge day 1 updates like we see here.

Minecraft blocks shareplay too. So fucking lame. Whatever I guess this is a trend I'll have to get used to.
I can kind of understand that one since it is a game owned by the console competition company. It would give a game they own a feature on the opposition's console.

Activision just thinks they might lose a penny if they allow it probably.

If I ever were to meet Bobby Kotick, Id dick punch him and then stand over him and simply say "You know why, you know why"

I never had any problem with Remote Play and while I know it is not the same, I can't get Share Play to work with any of my friends. I mean, at least the ability to show em what I'm playing without a 30 seconds-1 minute delay would be nice...

Share Play worked pretty perfectly for me and munky.

To the people complaining about Isaac items, if it is a passive item it tells you exactly what it does for almost every passive item. It it's a usable item pick it up, read the description, and use it on a room of enemies or a boss and pay attention to what it does. That's what it's all about.

Rebirth gives 100 times more useful descriptions for items than Isaac did. It would be laziness if the intention was for the game was to tell you what every item does, but that was never Ed's intention at all. There's supposed to be mystery to it because if you could see what every item did then you skip stuff doesn't do what you want it to.

But, like I said before Isaac is not for everyone.

Edit: If you really want to spoil it all for yourself use platinumgod.co.uk/rebirth

IDK, looks kinda cool, and only $100 for a decent bluetooth speaker that does voice commands?
Niche product for sure. $200 for non-prime members and $100 is a limited time offer. You can also get a decent bluetooth speaker for a lot less, granted maybe not that size but I don't know I have a hard time believing this will do well. My phone already does voice commands, why do I need another device for this?

so the idea is that you should have to use things before you know if they don't do what you don't want them to do so you can avoid them later instead of being told what they do so you can avoid them right now. right?

No, there is rarely an item that you will want to skip 100% of the time. There are some situation items, where if you have some item "x" already, you won't want to take item "y" that doesn't synergize well with the items you already have

I do like The Binding of Isaac. Some of the items, their purpose is obscure, perhaps too obscure, but other items are easy enough to figure out. I'll probably keep playing without looking them up for a while yet and see if I can figure them out.

Especially the "Our Take" paragraph by GI themselves below:

What caught my eye about this isn’t Fils-Aime’s pride over Nintendo’s first-party lineup. That makes complete sense.
It’s that in one breath he talks about wanting third-party support and, in the next, says that shared content hurts differentiation. And while he is correct that Xbox and PlayStation platforms don’t have Mario or Zelda, the Wii U doesn’t have Halo, Uncharted, God of War, Sunset Overdrive, Gears of War, Infamous, and countless others. That’s why they are called “platform exclusives.”

And to knock companies discussing visual fidelity when that’s been a focus for Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. Wii U? It doesn’t make sense or look good. Nintendo has a lot going for it on the first-party front, but taking a swing at its competitors doesn’t seem wise.
Oh, Reggie...

I think I'm with Tyler and Stotch on this. I don't like the concept. "I'm sick. Let me just take different kinds of medicine until I find one that works." Maybe that's not the best comparison, but it sounds just as silly to me.

So let me guess, more Mario and more Zelda? It's getting old and isn't going to last forever. Just keep pushing it deeper and deeper into the ground. Oh and what's the difference Nintendo? We've got The Last Of Us, Uncharted, Infamous, God Of War, and 3rd party support...you know good games besides what were making? Nintendo needs a serious firing party.

My favorite part was this:

“If you look at the other two competitive platforms, fundamentally, what’s the difference?”

That's the too obscure stuff. I don't disagree. I did bring this up with my first comment. But I also have only played for maybe an hour. I don't mind having to figure things out - I liked that in Spelunky a lot - it's that some of the items are not at all obvious. Also it's dumb that it doesn't even show you what buttons to press. I can't say that figuring out the controls is a fun activity.

Regarding Tyler, I do think it's kind of funny that he has this issue with Binding and Spelunky, but then goes on and on about how awesome Terraria is. That game is pretty obscure too, even with a tutorial.

Well I'll represent the other end of the spectrum and say that I wish more stuff was really obscure. I'm into the "down the rabbit hole" nature of the game and I think I ruined Spelunky for myself by watching others play it before I ever touched it. Getting to
Hell
would have meant a lot more to me if I solved the crazy puzzle of getting there on my own. But I think I am the kind of gamer that these games were made for. Spelunky and Isaac just click for me, while something like Rogue Legacy doesn't
