Started spelunky to at least do the tutorial. Felt confident until I played the first level. I'm sure I'll be in last place, but I'm still going to play either way.

Started Isaac as well. Gonna look up some controls in case I'm missing something, but I've had some sucky power ups too.

I need to check out his stream. The one time I made it to the end I was having a tough time figuring out exactly what I was supposed to be doing.

I just gave it a go, and my initial reaction is very meh. The interface strikes me as way too clunky and sluggish. There are noticeable load times for damn near everything, especially transitions between phases or rounds. I went through the basic and advanced tutorials and thought "Ok, this seems simple enough." Spent about 15 minutes in the first real round meticulously planning my route of attack, only to watch it fall apart because the AI suddenly did a bunch of stuff they didn't mention at all. :roll:

Additionally, it suffers from FF13 Syndrome in that they just start tossing out awkward names and phrases for everything, which apparently counts as their attempt at a plot. Obviously with a low-budget PSN tactics game story & plot aren't necessarily the draw, but it's still disappointing when I'm not engaged at all right from the start.

And finally, their multiplayer servers are completely down, with no word from them about what's going on. Growing pains from having a ton of PS+ users playing your game all of a sudden? Sure thing. But if we have another Luftrausers on our hands here, where the issue doesn't get fixed for months, I'm gonna be irked that I started this one up at all.

So much to play on my Vita.

Started Hotline Miami after having it be there for months. The one hit-death is just a major PITA.  Does the whole game continue like this? Requiring you to have split second timing or else?

  • Lego Marvel Heroes
  • Rayman Origins (just unlocked the second tier of worlds.)

  • Spelunky (ugh.)
  • Velocity 2x (I'm at stage 36, i think)

Recomendations? Things to avoid?

 
I got Tiny Troopers and Lego Marvel(ps4). couldn't resist dat 8 dollar price for a ps4 game that i havent gotten trophies on yet.

 
CoD: AW feels really fun to play, and I'm not regretting playing the game on Veteran first unlike what I did for past CoDs (Hardened first, Veteran second). :joystick:
