Yeah, I dont expect it either, but it is worth rolling the dice waiting to see if it does. I think the longer we go without a universal sale on it from Sony bodes well for another bonus month promotion. That does not mean I think it is likely though.

If you look back at games historically on Vita that were part of Plus many have insanely rare trophies even if the games are not considered all that hard.

IGN didn't get review copies of AC Rogue, either. Without being too much of a conspiracy theorist, that doesn't bode well. I hope Unity is good. I'm all set to go pick it up after work and I need something to play for the next day while Halo downloads it's day 1 patch.

Good lord on the TT score. With that said, it will likely drop a few thousand as soon as you get the plat. When only one person has it like that it is super high.

 
Oh and it's also a good thing I didn't bank on getting my perfect attendance gift cards. Woke up at 7:00 this morning all dazed and confused. Checked my phone and was greeted with the message that "Alarm Clock Xtreme has stopped". So yeah, of all the apps that could've force-closed while I was sleeping, my alarm had to be the one.  :bomb:

In a lot of cases it is the Jet stream. a narrow band of western flowing air current which serve as a bit of a barrier that ebbs and flows, cutting the USA in half.

When the Jet stream is north of your state, you get nice warm, air from Mexico. When the Jet stream shifts south of your state you get fuck ing cold Canadian air.

Bethesda almost always puts out a GOTY edition (that's how I was burned by Dishonored, but will probably go ahead and double dip on the GOTY edition at BB since it is cheaper than buying all the DLC) and given how the Evil Within story is basically incomplete without the DLC right? I would probably just wait for the inevitable GOTY edition which will be like $15 next Black Friday.

The Evil Within will never be a GOTY contender. It might get a Complete Edition, though. :razz:

 
Yeah I played 2 hours of Unity last night before bed, but was too tired to post impressions. I haven't played an AC game since playing Brotherhood except about an hour of Liberation. Gameplay is the best I have experienced in AC. I thought that the free-running and climbing is working better than it ever has. The game looks great...until you randomly hit gigantic frame rate loss in a scene with literally no other people than your own character. Sometimes the game handles giant crowds running at a smooth 60  30 fps (take that Snakey, 30v60 doesn't matter, because I certainly can't tell), but will drop to unbearably low at other times.

All in all it's pretty fun though. Definitely glad I didn't pay anything for it

how did u get it free?

Based on the slowdown and glitchiness I am glad I decided against pre ordering it. Life kind of dictated that anyway, but whatevs.

I was high on ACIV and thought of pre-ordering Unity with the GCU, I'm also kind of glad I held off. I'm guessing it could get patched. I'll just wait it out for now. 

I started up Infamous 2 last night. I was surprised how much better it looks than the 1st game. It might be the color palette though. I got the bonus for my Infamous 1 save so that was nice. Enjoying it already, glad you start off with a lot of the powers like grinding on wires and the melee seems much better already. Can't wait to dig in. I got about an hour and 15 mins in last night.

infamous 2 was a big upgrade graphically. fo sho.

I didn't realize it was capped at 30. The whole 30 v 60 thing is so blown out of proportion. I can't tell the difference unless they are side by side. I would imagine that very few people can actually tell without a direct comparison

 
Regardless of the fact that AC: U is capped at 30fps, it's pretty crazy how unstable it is. The first hour or so was pretty stable, but after that, it was frame city

It's probably the in between game experiment with the smoother mechanics so Assassin's Creed V will be better for it when it inevitable launches. Hopefully they patch Unity though and fix it. Maybe that's why it was embargoed so late.

 
lol Assassin's Creed is not going to play/look best on PC.

Why would shipwreck get AC on PC?  What a moron.

Unity apparently has major frame issues on X1 and PC too. Also, PS4 2.0.2 is out. I just updated without incident.

This waiting for the end bell on the first day of the Spelunky challenge is nerve racking! What if one of the three remaining novices tops my score and I don't get day 1 first place points. I don't know how ill go face my family.

Last I checked, Matt, blue arcana, cleaner, Kameleon, and one other person hadn't gone yet.

 
AC Unity reviews are trickling out. Consensus seems to be... meh.

I'll still pick up my preorder, but won't expect anything nearly as fun as Black Flag. I've been curious about what the modern day element of it is. Just read the IGN review and it said that those segments are short, but awesome (without actually spoiling what's up). Also, it looks like IGN was only given an Xbox copy to review? The Metacritic reviews are only really populaitng for Xbox also. Hope the PS4 version isn't especially more buggy.

I am still not sure how I got converted from physical to digital. I was not too happy when I found out. I knew I would never read it digital even though I only occasionally ever thumbed threw it before tossing it in the recycle bin before.
