Don't know how far you've gotten, but didn't you say you can do the co-op missions in Unity solo? Would that make the plat attainable without having to play online? Please advise.

 
As of about 30 minutes ago, we are waiting on Bladadon in Pro, and Blue Arcana and laundrymatt (of course) in Novice.

I'll get a chance to check scores again around lunch time. After that not until dinner time.

 
Who else thinks Rogue may get re-released on PS4? I kinda want to wait and see, but at this point I'm now 3 games behind on the series. Waiting will make it that much worse.

I really hope they stop releasing a new AC game every year. I love the series but geez I can't keep up.

Rogue sounds good though, based on what I've read. I like open-world games with a checklist of things to do, so it sounds right up my alley. Especially since it's Assassin's Creed and like I said I love Assassin's Creed.

It is a Ubi game, you have a huge backlog, and you dont have a PS4 yet. I would not bother worrying if it is going to be released or not. I would just wait and get it when you are ready to play it. It should be $10 or possibly less by then :)

I hit a bird Saturday. It slammed off the windshield/top of the car while it and its buddies were flying across the road. No damage to the car but I felt bad. Didn't see it on the road when I went back later so maybe it somehow survived getting hit at 45 mph or a Texas redneck took it home and ate it.

Is Pac Man any good? Probably won't ever get to play it but I've been curious about it.

I'm going to guess no, more because of the sync kills (maybe, might count solo like wolfpack did) and revive a coop partner (no way around this I'll bet). I'll yutz with it solo and report back once I get access.
 
WOW, so i got on my PS4 this morning, took 5 minutes to boot COD from the home screen, just sat on the title screen waiting to load the game.  Then after playing through the game and finishing the single player trophies, i went to sync, sync wouldn't load, heck just the trophy list wouldn't load.  On top of that I went to check if the new update had installed and it wouldn't load any settings options... i really hope an update didn't screw anything up.  I also hope that I got the trophies i unlocked!  I only need one for the plat!

I am actually enjoying it. The first one in the series was similar, but the levels were too long and tedious. At least so far, they are much better in terms of length. There does seem to be a high number of levels so it will likely take just as long, but it isn't as much of a struggle to play. It also looks like they removed the stupid mini-games that had goals that were considerably harder than the main game to accomplish. Overall, it is a fun 3D platforming game that I am glad I rented. I would not recommend buying it unless it was super cheap.

I would agree with this, except AC3 is supposedly pretty bad. I'd say these are the ACs worth playing up to Unity/Rogue:

AC (if only for story purposes) -> AC2 -> Brotherhood -> Black Flag

I'm only halfway through that progression, but I don't mind passing up Revelations or AC3.

Sounds like your internet was down. It would cause most of those issues.

EDIT: Well... I am not sure why it would cause the update stuff...

Do you think I would be able to get the Exo trophies solo, or should we still plan on playing next week despite the fact that you got them already?

I still dont get the hate for ac3.

Will admit brotherhood is possibly the best of the series.

He was complaining about playing one every year, why I said just play the numbered ones. Those come out every two years or so.

Hopefully my library will add Ghostly Adventures 2 to its catalog, as it sounds like an improvement.

If you like Ezio, I'd say play Revelations. I enjoyed it a good bit. AC 3 just felt like a slog and seemed to be too big for it's own good.

Of course you should all know now that Brotherhood and 2 are my favorites. I'm excited to give 4 a try when I get a PS4.

You may be able to do solo, I got to 24 easily solo..

There is also a map that has a glitch, you can literally get stuck in a window and enemies can't hit you but you can hit them. I recommend going for the flip trophies while it's still active.

If it doesn't work we can still try, took exactly an hour and a half to reach wave 55 with a friend of mine.

Fine, yes. But it's got to be the least enjoyable AC I've played. This is just a personal preference, of course. On top of the issues I've stated, I really didn't care for Connor too much. He was kind of annoying.

Good game, but just didn't click with me.

 
I came across a glitch in the map Horizon in Exo Survival today. I don't know if anyone already knows about this but all you do is play on the map Horizon. It's on tier 2. And there is a little room in the corner of the map with glass doors. You can go prone and crawl under the door and enemies won't be able to shoot you but you can shoot them! If you use the heavy class you will never run out of bullets and all the enemies will literally come running towards this room and just start shooting the glass doors lol. At times you may need to leave the room to kill the drones.

I apologise if this has already been mentioned but it's a super easy way to get to wave 50.

Try this Vig as soon as you can! It will most likely be patched soon and it is super easy to get to 50... either on online co op or you will need to unlock tier 2.

Connor was a douche, and the initial build up and crap was awful, acting like youve never played an AC game before, and the absurdly slow beginning, but once the game fleshed out, I thought it was pretty solid and worth the effort to play through.

I was worried with the trophies not loading at all, let alone synching...

maybe because all the negativity set my expectations, but I'd put it ahead of revelations and ac1 at least. it is stupid big, but it has some awesome set pieces and connor is the most 'different' main character in the whole series (love him or hate him). plus the american history angle was fun to me because I actually remember some of that stuff from school.

I don't disagree. I didn't hate it, it was just my least favorite AC game.

I actually just now stumbled across that same glitch while looking around. I'm definitely going to give this a shot tonight. If I play offline, can I pause the game as usual, or will I have to leave the game unpaused if I need to take a break? Also, if I want to unlock Tier 2 myself, how long do you think it'll take? I haven't played anything other than the Campaign so far.

Cool thanks, havent been able to get anyone else to help out.

Its a level 26 version of the moon strike, have to get to the end and kill 3-4 waves of enemies where phogoth is, then this Xyor will spawn and kill it and done. Its the quickest strike there is, so hopefully wont take that long.

It takes 50 waves total over all your plays on tier one maps...

Yeah no worries. I have done the Phogoth one a bunch of times recently. Never dealt with Xyor though. Will PSN message you if I am running late. Or do you have KiK? Depending on who is on maybe we can get a 3rd too.

And a quick reading says you can' t kill Phogoth. Interesting.

Is TV still a big money maker? Most young people I know don't watch TV, just catch up on their favorite shows once in a while via Hulu or whatever. I don't really see this being a success for Sony.
