Those shoes were designed by a kid with a life threatening auto-immune disease, you assholes.  They will also resell for $500+.

Just got an exotic Hunter helmet that keeps radar active no matter which primary weapon I use.  Sweet.

I don't think they would do it because they would probably say today's gamers would get mad about not being able to get all achievements since from the study they did about a year ago some ridiculously high percentage of people couldn't get past the first jump in the first level of super Mario. :wall:

That's crazy. Why spend that much for shoes? I mean at least if you spend that much can't they look more...I dunno, can't think of the word.

I don't mind the lack of an achievement system, but tying digital purchases to the system itself and not an online account is just so fuck ing stupid. No way in hell am I making any digital purchase if I have to rely on the good graces of Nintendo to transfer them to a different system if the other one breaks.

I could understand if someone was used to modern games, not being able to get past the first level in the original. The original had such well crafted level design that you either learned how the game worked, or died over and over. Considering how everything has a tutorial now I would believe it.

I don't really know if that is a good reason to not have achievements though. It sounds like Nintendo just has the kids sports philosophy where everyone should get a medal for participating

Yeah, that is really fucked up. One of the only things I don't like about how Nintendo is set up right now. Their whole online philosophy feels years behind

Tried to find more info about the Tetris game releasing on PS4 this week. Looks to not offer a lot in the way of different modes. I seem to remember the PS3 version having a lot more. Probably doesn't help that I've never found head to head tetris to be all that fun. Definitely waiting for reviews.

FInally, 1 good run out of 7.  Not ideal, but I think I've got 3rd locked up for sure.

Vig, yeah that spider death was really rough, but being down to one heart in 1-3 isn't what i'd describe as a "going so well"

The youngest son can't act at all now that he's in his awkward teenage phase.

The youngest daughter looks like she's going to tip over.
