PSN Off-Topic - Happy Thanksgiving Chumps and Chumpettes!

Tales of Xillia 2 would have been a far stronger game as a standalone Tales, without all of the stuff brought over from Xillia 1. I'm nearing the end of the game (though I'm likely another 25-30 hours away from the plat), and so far everything I like stems from the new ToX2 elements while the more disappointing aspects are related to the residual ToX1 things.

Went to Walmart and got AC Rogue :ps3:, blue Dualshock 4 and Big Bang Theory S7 at the Black Friday prices.  Cashier and manager initially were gonna refuse the sale but after I argued that I had gotten everything out of the regular cases they let it go.  Afterwards I tried to buy a cookbook for my fiance as a Xmas gift and they actually flat out refused to sell it to me.  fuck Walmart.  Oh well, now time for some turkey and beer!

Arg, I hope they add more later tonight. I don't want to get out just for Deadpool as I did all the rest of my shopping online late last night.

Also it started, first episode "Magic Voyage of Sinbad." 5 more episodes to go.

Anyway 3 starring levels is crazy hard. I have only been able to do it on 3 levels. About to hit the third boss but I need 5 more stars to unlock it.

 
Hey cowboy, I went to the liquor store to grab some zombie dust but they were out. I got a 6 pack of alpha king also from three floyds instead. Good snag or naw?
 
Well everything I wanted from Walmart must have sold out while I was frying the turkey. Oh well, main thing I wanted was a $40 Dualshock 4 and Infinity 2.0.

About the only thing I see myself buying black friday is one of those 50 inch $199  TVs. Best Buy is already sold out online. Wally Mart has some no name brands, which would probably be fine for our 90% Nickelodeon  watching.

I've 3 starred all the first levels through the first boss. I just started the first level after the first boss, but should be able to get that one pretty quickly (probably won't get a chance to play until tomorrow though).

Playing the PS3 version makes me feel like a GW god though. There are so few players that I am in the Top 20 for a lot of scores. It doesn't appear to be selling well on that platform. :(

rivals complete doesn't have any extra trophies. just a heads up. i got rivals through bb gcu the other day or gamefly for like $13-16. I read about complete but for that price and no dlc trophies it seemed like a skip for me. great game tho.

yeah i turned that off minutes after I got home with my new tv. We were watching cartoons and it was so weird and then we were watching shows like 30 rock and it made it seem too real like some cheesy live soap opera. i was like wtf is going on. I then found they added that motion smooting and i was like no way and turned it off asap. crazy

yeah, i knew that going in. really wish i would've just grabbed the gamefly copy yesterday for 15. those damn chipped discs always make me hesitate. i wasn't gcu when bb had that deal of the day either, unfortunately. i noticed they put a dlc bundle on psn for rivals, maybe i'll try to grab a cheap normal copy(gamefly restock pls), and just buy the bundle if it ever goes on sale. if i don't have the platinum by then.

I dunno, I'm excited for the DAL-PHI and SEA-SF games today, not to mention the TCU-TEX game should be a bit interesting. In state rivalry, its at the Longhorns and if TCU wants a chance of making the playoffs, they can't lose. As someone pulling for Ohio St to make it, an upset here would be great.

Nope. Checked fucking everywhere I could think of, online. And nuthin'. Ditto with the PS4 Golds. They're $70 in a few places, but after just hitting $45 there's no way I'm going to pay $70. Dummy move to not pick them up then, but oh well.

Only thing I bought today was a $20 Wireless 3 in 1 printer from Staples.

EDIT: I take it back. I did buy a $30 Pillow from Sam's Club pre-BF sale and Dishonored GOTY and a $2 DVD from Best Buy. So I'm at like $60 for BF so far.

So the news just said watch out how much nutmeg you use in your cooking cause it can make you high. Then they show people snorting lines using a dollar bill. Funniest part was when they showed the person cutting the line of nutmeg. Local news really knows how to pick the holiday stories.

I tried to stealth turn it off and she noticed the effect wasn't there and thought something was wrong with the TV.

I wonder if I can get that 50 inch panasonic from best buy in store?
