I wish I'd watched the live stream for PSX. I would have if they hadn't named it the same thing as all those shitty emails I get about their traveling roadshow.  :bs:

Not too bad. I've only played a handful of levels so I can't make an in depth opinion. Controls take some getting used to and I've only used one of the four available characters. Seems like getting double S ranks is gonna be tough, even in early levels. I haven't run I to any of the slowdown you mentioned, but again, only played a few early levels. I love the art style and music. Plan to dive in deeper tonight during the Big Ten Championship game.

They haven't announced another GoW game yet, but I can't imagine they'd be bringing it back up for no reason.

Watching a copy of the key note now. Not great quality, but man UC4 looks so much better than the first game (which still looks good even today.) I need to get back on those. Thinking after I knock out Natural Doctrine I'll play Infamous 2, then UC2 will be my next short game after that.

 
Though I did notice that during the gameplay footage while Drake is trying to sneak around while climbing the cliff that he was whistling when there was a guy right nearby. That's a bit dumb.

 
Suikoden 2 on Vita! Just finished the first one (again)  to have a save file available on the Vita.

Revelations being on Vita leaked ages ago in an ad, IIRC. They never did address it previously, though. Glad it came to Vita even though I've never played one of them. More games is always good.

I wish it was an HD version of it. Are thye just bringing the ps1 version so it is playable on ps3 and vita? I would have loved to see a Suikoden HD set. They are my second favorite jrpg series.

 
So I'm at the PlayStation Experience and saw the keynote and all that jazz. They showed a picture of the deck of cards. Someone had to have gotten a screen cap or posted a picture of it online. If anyone finds it, please PM me the link since I don't have time to read the thread. Please and thank you.

And if you see anything cool about prizes/swag/giveaways/meetups that will help too. I may have stuff to giveaway too!

P.S. Uncharted 4 looks awesome. I got to play Severed. Not bad. Also, got to play that 4D game that someone posted about. I thought it would be hard to understand but the puzzles were pretty easy. Just taking a break to eat. Gonna see what else to play.

Pretty decent. Got my swag bag for going to the keynote. That was limited to 5500 people and it was pretty full. The lines to get in were crazy. The convention space at the Venetian is really big. There's a bit of empty space.

They're giving away Blu-Ray copies of Retro City Random every hour. 0/2 so far but not bad odds. Gonna go try to get free Disney Infinity stuff for some odd reason. All about that swag.
 
Anyone else with Dustforce want to try the multiplayer tonight? No one on TT has the on MP trophy yet, so high points should be on that one. Sounds like MP is dead so should be easy to get a game together.

That would definitely be my wish as well, but I would have been just as happy with a Suikoden I & II port to one cart with trophies.

Still, even getting just a PSN release is pretty nice. I will definitely buy it Day 1, even though I already have my PSOne copy loaded up on my PSP.

Ah, for some reason I was thinking it was on PSN just not licensed for Vita. I've never followed the Suikoden games so never paid any attention. I generally do my best to avoid games with a large cast of playable characters. Games with that always feel so unfocused to me.

Ha, I figured thats what you were thinking.

Surprisingly, the Suikoden series does a tremendous job of having a very focused story despite having a vast cast of characters. Some characters are definitely fluff, but there is a deep roster of good characters. Suikoden II, in particular, has an amazing story that challenges the traditional good vs evil tropes that JRPGs are known for, especially in that era.

What's weird is the guy said 1 and 2 were coming to Vita and PS3. 1 is already available at least for PS3, though, so the wording was a bit confusing.

Just got to the Tim Shafer part of the stream. fuck off, asshole.

 
The wife is out seeing a play. I've got 3 and a half hours of sweet sweet video game time once the kid is in bed.

Anyone round here playing anything multiplayer-ish? Was thinking Advanced Warfare or Destiny (crucible). Or maybe Smash Brothers or Halo for any of you other people with more consoles than sense. Oh, and I guess Plants vs Zombies is also a good candidate

It's too bad they discontinued the series in America. I would have loved to play the PSP one.

Out of all of them I think V was my favorite one. Had a lot of cool places to explore and I loved a lot of the characters you could play from.
