Ohh if he got his from Amazon.de that fast, mine should be arriving shortly (fingers crossed). I bought extras for cags (claimed) when they arrive if any decide they don't want one, then they're for a cag that does. Please dont message me yet, lol. If I have extra ill post, but basically price I paid plus shipping to you.

All of the wave 1's (except the 3 amiibos of course) and lots of Luigis and Zeldas. That kind of supply reminds me of the post Wii U rush. Anyway Toys R Us appears to be the go to place for amiibos.

My observations for anyone that cares:

- Toys R Us has the largest selection by far

- Only order online if you plan on opening the figures (i've had some shipped from both amazon and toys r us online and it was about 50 / 50 on bent packaging)

- Only use gamestop for preorders (or online orders), they do not get all of the figures only the most popular ones. As a company the individual stores never even received Marth.

- Walmart, Best Buy & Target seem to be random but not nearly the same stock size as Toys R Us

- If you plan on having a complete collection and opening them it might save time, money and headaches to just grab as many as you want from a European website as the only difference appears to be the packaging. Unless you like the hunt than more power to you :)

If any Chicagoland CAGs ever want to discuss amiibos let me know! I have not been buying multiples but if someone wants I will keep an eye out for some for you.

I picked up a Luigi at that same TRU earlier today. :)
I also checked the Best Buy and the 2 Gamestops in the area (Woodfield & Roselle) but they all only had Zelda from Wave 2.

The only Amiibo I'm missing at this point is Diddy Kong (well, until Pit & Cap finally get released) and I seem to keep missing him by a day at every store I check, haha.

ugh.......I can't get myself to order through amazon.de, $51 for two amiibos that I was able to get for $22 from BB not too long ago. I'm banking on marth and the villager popping up again:)

I ordered a Rosalina amiibo from the Amazon.fr site. I found that it was cheaper to buy and have it shipped from France then it was for Germany. Instead of paying $33, I paid $23. Maybe go with amazon.fr

Marth is 14.99 EUR on de, and 26.10 EUR on fr. Villager is 29.99 EUR on fr as well.

 
Maybe I just got lucky with Rosalina because the demand for those amiibos are just not there yet. Get those orders in now before the price starts to increase

Going to go check TRU today and targer for some skylanders and amiibos. My wallet hates me atm.

He does come off as one. He brags about all of his tough finds and makes his profile the very tough to find Amiibo and honestly...what guy goes ape shit crazy for Rosalina??? Really?? Might as well be a huge Lardassian fan as well. His name is OOS which would rub everyone the wrong way and he/she/it is new to CAG and not once is looking at bargain shopping like a typical CAG member and just posts here to find out when things are in stock so they can hoard. If they truly hook up some CAG members with these finds at a little over cost, then I will change my opinion, but until then...he looks like an eBay reseller.

 
Not sure why some toys r us locations have no preorder cards. Mine had like two dozen lucario cards and two stuffed full pegs of the three non exclusive ones as well

^^ Same ... yesterday at one of my 2 local TRU, they had a whole stack of Lucario cards of which I nabbed 2, and an equally large stack for all the other wave 3 pre orders. It just seems online that is at a shortage.

Which is weird because its actually a lot cheaper to send things from Germany to US than any other EU country over there.

Yeah, thanks for the tip on the TRU pre-order cards. My local TRU that had a ton of amiibo had these cards. Pre-ordered Lucario and remaining wave3 ones I was missing (except bowser). Also picked up a Luigi since they had just put them out on the hangers. May try and do that b2 for $12 deal ($15 gift card for $10 + $5 google wallet deal) + 2 for $22 today -- they wouldn't allow me to get the deal yesterday even though it was like 11:30pm

How are TRU pre-orders? It seemed pretty sketchy as the guy said they'd put my name on one when they got them and they wouldn't sell it on release day to anyone but me, but then the whole process never asked for my name? I DID put my email in, but it didn't seem tied to the pre-order as much as them wanting to spam me? Thanks in advance for any tips from you pro-TRU users!

If only TRU had Captain Falcon available I'd be in on this deal with Pit and him. I have them both pre-ordered at BBY, but I don't trust BBY. Do I really want to order 2 Pits?

 
Is the 2 for $22 deal live in-store at TRU, and does it work with preorders?

I have one of everybody preordered, but I want to be a creepy collector and have a sealed set too, I think it'd make a nice wall decoration like those transparent comic organizers.

 
Was just checking out on the TRU website with 2 Pit amiibo in my cart for $22, then the price jumped back to $28 as if the promotion ended.  :wall:

 
Well only missing Diddy now from the stuff that has been released. Went in to Target this morning to get some gift cards and they had 6 Little Macs sitting on the shelf. Took a beat up one to open and a good one for trading.

They did have a peg for Captain Falcon but it was empty. Not sure if it still hasn't come in or they already sold out.

Not getting free shipping with any of my orders and shipping is killing this deal.

Edit: this deal is weird. Some Amiibos state 2 for $22 on all Amiibos, but that deal clearly doesn't apply to some preorders. Furthermore, some of the preorders have free shipping but the Amiibos that are currently available don't get free shipping. Toys r us blows.

Was ordering Mega Man and Toon Link at TRU and my cart wouldn't load. Went back and checked and the Mega Man page is gone.

Edit: Now I can't order anything because Mega Man was in my cart when the page was pulled and my cart won't load so I can remove it. Shit.

Actually, it started out with just getting 1 amiibo to play and 1 to collect. Then I saw that these were harder to get and becoming rare so I started to order more and more. Also people were saying there could be problems with pre-orders so I ordered from several different places. The 18 rosalinas were ordered from different places in case of cancellations. And this is how I ended up with so many amiibos and becoming an amiiboholic. :rofl:
