I checked my Gamefly Q and saw this and I was happy it appeared my plan worked.

Then I checked the rental history thinking it would definitely be coming from Tampa only to see this.

Now I seriously doubt I will have it by this weekend. Sorry guys.
No worries, just shipped pancakes his copy, so he might not have it by this weekend either.

If BB gets them posted and I can nab one from them, we can find a way to get you my Amazon one Topside. Even though you're an asshole and I should offer it to one of the nicer forum members.
Quite awesome of you, but I'm sure there are bigger Zelda fans in here that would appreciate it more than me. I really don't need to be buying it anyhow.

@pete and stotch Level 29 is my last one, besides level 50 which should only take a couple more tries. Any strategies I should know other than conserving gates? If I miss a golden gate or two in the early levels should I just restart?
Golden gates aren't necessary at all, just smash one if it's convenient otherwise focus on only using regular gates for immediate threats (anything you can't dodge, green and pink homing dudes or large groups of blue). Zone out and focus on what's ahead of you, don't look at your score. If you get to the pink diamonds you're probably almost there.

I also played an hour of regular pacifism before succeeding and I think it really helped. I didn't notice this, but the blue guys speed up after they're alive a while or something and end up being faster than you. Watch out for that.

Good luck! I'm rooting for you.

Hey Gator and or Pharm,

I joined vice city mambas last night and did a couple jobs with crew members but the trophy didn't pop. Do you have to do a specific mode or mission with them?

It has to be an actual mission I think. I do not think jobs like races or parachuting count. I tried inviting you to our party last night right before we tried the survival thing. Be glad you didn't join that, we got smoked as wren mentioned earlier.

ETA: I assume we will be playing more tonight if you want to join. I know we need 4 for a couple of the mission types like team death match and rally racing.

PSN Store purchases in 2014:

Total Games 58
Total Cost $323.93
Average Cost $5.59
Total PS3 Games Bought 28
Total Vita Games Bought 25
Total PS4 Games Bought 5

Tried a bit of Resistance: Burning Skies just now.  Pretty nice music especially at the intro.  Decent shooter for a mobile/portable game.

I have an extra copy still if anyone wants it. $8 shipped to you or if you just want one online code I'll give it to you if no one wants the game.

Just realized you guys were talking about survival in GTA... you guys realize it is easiest doing it alone right? more guys you have the harder it is, and there is also a glitch that makes you getting shot impossible

I liked this just so I could dislike. If we knew of this glitch we would use it. Can it be for two players? Or more?

Lego Batman 3 is my first Lego game outside of playing Marvel for about a half hour. Apparently I suck at finding stuff in Lego games.
Most of the time you can't find the things you want to find on the first play through of a level. That is how they do things to force you to play again in free play mode.

A little Surprised as I know Gator uses the trophy guides regularly.

however, there is an exploit on one of the maps which makes completing all 10 waves ridiculously easy.

Firstly, you should visit any Ammu-Nation store in preparation and stock up on ammo. You take into each Survival match what you have in your inventory at the time so it is wise to be prepared rather than run out mid-wave, then press
StartButton.png
and select "Online => Jobs => Host Job => Rockstar Created => Survival" and select the "Boneyard" map.

Immediately as the first wave starts, look to your right to spot a grey portacabin in front of a red wall. In between these two structures is a very narrow gap, which is where you will camp for the entirety of the 10 waves. For some inexplicable reason, if you position yourself here all of the enemies will spawn in front of you and run into your line of sight repeatedly. All you have to do is hug the wall of the portacabin by pressing
R2.png
then move along it with
1LSLeft.gif
and
1LSRight.gif
depending on which direction the enemies are coming from on your mini-map, then stick your head out to aim and pick them off using the "Traditional GTA" targeting mode. On rare occasions an enemy will reach the red wall and have a clear shot at you but instead of taking a shot, for some reason they prefer to either take cover behind the rocks on the right-hand side or the wall on the left-hand side so these should be of little trouble.

A Buzzard helicopter will appear on waves 4 and 7 in solo, but they pose little threat as they can't shoot you in your narrow space. When they fly overhead and away from you, pop out of cover and try to shoot the pilot to bring it down instantly. It can be difficult to hit him though so you may prefer to shoot the helicopter until it crashes. The SUVs pose no threat as the enemies will conveniently park up in front of you in the open and climb out, just pick them off easily or throw sticky bombs/grenades at the vehicles to blow them up instantly.

If you find yourself needing supplies, it is advised to wait until there is one enemy left (a notification at the bottom of the screen will tell you this) and then going around the battlefield carefully avoiding him while mopping up weapons, ammo, health and body armour if you need it. You have 20 seconds to do this in between waves anyway, but sometimes you can be pushing it a little tight and the last thing you need is to be caught out in the open when the next wave starts.

Using this method I (Krid) completed all 10 waves solo and was only shot a handful of times but never enough to even deplete my body armour. It may, however, be advisable to do this with a partner (with each person guarding one end of the portacabin), simply for the security just in case something does go awry like running out of ammo mid-wave or even dying. With multiple players, if one player dies then they will be resurrected at the end of the wave if the other survives. Using this method with 3-4 players is still very possible, but is ill-advised due to the large increase in enemy numbers and the fact that there is little room in the narrow gap for the extra players to be of any use.

Yeah, we were doing that method, the helicopter sure as fuck can kill you and quickly. It might have worked on PS3, it doesn't now.

We weren't even moving back and forth. We just had one person on each side of the gap behind the shed.

Then the PST guide is wrong as it said any job would count. I did see your invite but I was stuck on a 15 minute loading screen at the time. I can already tell I won't have the patience for all the online trophies, this game isn't nearly as fun the 2nd time around it seems.

It is why I stopped when I was boosting with someone, we only got a couple of platinums online because the load screens were terrible and we kept disconnecting and needing to restart our games completely...

And worse, even just peaking out around the corner of the building, I would get shot a couple times and be dead. Maybe they patched it and/or you need to be really high level?

With how wren and I are playing we try and minimize the loading by picking mission after mission when possible. It does still suck though, I agree. I think it is worse in large public matches though. That might be why you were having such problems.

I would participate in the contest, but it's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum.
and I'm all out of gum

I also have no idea what the fuck whoa Dave is.

Guys there really isn't any reason to be glitching or doing it solo. I got it with 2 other dudes last night just chilln. We can all get on later and get it done. Mainly just get behind cover. It's more fun legit. I quit my old crew and joined your vice city mambas also.

also this played in gtaV last night. awesome

I am not playing it for all the trophies. I am just helping Gator and he is helping me get the easy ones.

We need 4 players for a couple trophies that should be easy to get if you want to join. Same with anyone. Velo hopefully helps us on Survival tonight.

I may eventually join you guys if you are still playing in a week or so... I am definitely having a gaming marathon MLK day, so if anyone wants to help then?
