[Yesasia] PlayStation Vita Memory Card 64GB (Japan Version) ($80.99) Use Coupon: NEWTWITTER3 <- First Time Purchase

Still not big enough. I just got mine in from PlayAsia a few days ago and I'm already down to just over 1GB available after reloading all the stuff I want to carry. My luck the 128GB version will come out next year after having waited this long to buy one..

Dang. Do keep more than just games on your Vita? I have dozens of games on my 64gb card with plenty of room to spare. I wouldn't hold my breath for a 128gb card. At this rate, that might cost almost as much as the system does.

Seriously, they need to make a 128gb card. I have about 2gb left on my 64gb card. The good thing is if they do, I can sell my 64gb card to cover at least half of the 128gb price.

Nothing but games basically. I have 96 games on my Vita (counting carts that are installed) and they take up ~50GB. The rest is 5MB of saves, 11MB of email (had to put one of my emails in so I could send myself screen shots), 29MB of themes, ~9GB of system files (not sure why this is so large?), leaving ~1.2GB of free space.

It does seem unlikely we will get a 128GB card but a man can dream.

This is evil expensive, and I'm such a cheapass, but my 2 8GB are almost full and I need to upgrade.

I figure a 64GB would last me basically forever, since I buy so few downloads.

It works on American systems, yes?

Confirmed 100%. The system is region free and that extends to memory cards. I'm using a U.S. Vita and I got my Japanese card from PlayAsia. I can't recommend it enough to all but the most minimal users. The memory card shuffle is a giant pain in the ass so larger storage is worth the convenience fees. Of course Sony planned it that way from the beginning...

I seriously scored on my 64gb card. I traded a guy on Craigslist a new 3DSXL for his Vita with a 64gb card and two games. I already had a Vita, as well as the two games that came with his system, so I sold the extra Vita, the two games and my old 16gb memory card for the price it cost me to buy a new 3DSXL when Best Buy was selling them for $150 a couple weeks ago.

Anyone have any input as to how fast Yesasia ships? I was planning to get a card from superufo.com for $85 already, and many people said they got theirs in under 10 days. Might be worth it to spend the extra $4 if yesasia's shipping is super slow

Guess it's about time I upgraded from the 8 GB.  Thanks OP.

Looks like shipping will take a while.  The receipt says it won't be expected to ship out for about two weeks.

Tempting but I'll hold off for now. I have a 16 GB ($20) and a 32 GB ($40) that haven't been touched yet, on top of the 4, 8, and 16 GB cards I have in use. The 4 GB was part of a Starter Kit (slip case, screen protector film, game and memory card wallet, ear buds) Sears was blowing out for $7, so that was nice. Would have bought the others there if I'd realized at the time what a steal it was. I didn't actually own a Vita yet but figured it was a worthy investment. The 8 GB card came with the system, of course. The first 16 GB card was $40 but at the time it was ten bucks lower than anyplace else I'd seen with same day pickup. If I'd just waited until BF I could have had double the capacity for the money but such is life.

Anyway, I have a ton of stuff on the cards in use and about 50 G left to fill before I need more. By that time there will likely be a better price offered and/or higher capacities. The SDXC standard, for example, allows for up 2 TB capacity even though it could be a decade or more before such card hit the market. It seems likely newer standards will take over before then.

Still, I've only had the Vita since November and PSN+ has been adding downloads at a steady pace. I had a fair number of Cross-buy games piled up on my PS3 that immediately claimed a few GB but by this time next year more storage will likely be needed.

I can't decide if getting the bigger memory card is worth it or just grab the 32 GB for $45 at GS with the Kongergate coupon. I'm the type that plays a game from beginning to end before really starting new ones. I right now have Soul Sacrifice Delta and Uncharted on my 8 GB downloaded and I'm grinding for the plat in SSD and going back and finding treasures in Uncharted. Once those get done, I'll delete and download more. I just don't know if I get a bigger one I'll strive to get plats in my games as I'll just want to start new experiences instead of completing. I do need bigger than 8 but I'm thinking the 32 (or waiting for another deal like the $25 for 16 GB) should be sufficient for what I do.

Decisions...

Is this card legit? I heard sites like this sell clones that break easily. can someone confirm they ordered from these guys and are reputable?

Tempting... I have a PSTV with an 8 GB card right now. I've downloaded and fully installed Dissidia 012. Danganropa is on it's way.

I only plan on buying retail Vita games and downloading somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 to 7 PSP games. Should I bite on this or get a cheaper memory card?

X.x still 8 days to go before it's even shipped out to me.
Fear not, it'll probably be earlier than that. Mine wasn't estimated to ship out for another week, but it shipped out today.

How soon it'll actually arrive though remains to be seen. I'm hoping they don't ship each package individually from Japan but instead import them to the US and then sell them (which I think some places do), but I don't know whether that's actually the case.

I have a 32GB card that I only carry games on so it does the trick for the most part

I would eventually like to get a 64GB and use the 32GB for my PSTV.

 Geez, I just realized the Vita charge cable has a USB on it. x_x I was about to buy one on eBay. ;D Now I can finally drag over my PSP save files once my shiny new 64 GB card arrives.

I will wait until 2017 BF for $20 for this card lol.

Too much money for my blood at this time, I'm doing ok since half my games are cart based.

Didn't buy my 64gb card here... but just wanted to say that even 64gb isn't enough for me either. Argh! Wish that swapping memory cards wasn't the PITA that it is on the PSP Vita... takes like 10 minutes to "Rebuild The Database" if I swap my 64gb/32gb cards. Bummed.

It is a pretty big pain in the ass

did yours arrive yet? Mine just shipped out today

Nope, not yet. I think it'll be here within a few days, though.

I didn't realize there even was tracking until yesterday. If you log in at YesAsia, you can see the tracking. Mine started out in China and was in Chicago a few days later, so the shipping seems pretty fast.

I got mine pretty quickly, and after a few hours wrestling with the PC utility to transfer my data, I eventually said hell with it and used my PS3.  Why must Sony make things so complicated... Oh well, I have tons of space now, never have to upgrade again, hopefully, my Memory Card is bigger than my PS3 hard drive now, so I can't transfer again.

On that note, time to be on the look out for a new PS3 hard drive.  Why must Sony make things so complicated...

I wonder that, too. They had a really good thing going with how you could manage content for your PSP on your PC, and then they threw it all away for the Vita.

Since Sony has practically abandoned this beautiful system they need to lower these prices. I paid 100 for a 32gb one a couple yrs ago and am still pissed about it lol

Mine arrived today.  That's about 2 or 3 weeks since placing the order, about a week ahead of what I originally expected. :)

Can't believe these prices are still so high for a "failed" system

I don't care how bad I would ever need it I would NEVER pay this much for a memory card that is locked to one system and can only use it with one thing, I would guess down the line the resell value if these would suck too and I take into consideration when I buy bigger purchases too
