I usually would, but was under the impression FL takes place before SS which made me question which was the better approach. I can't imagine FL had any gameplay improvements or anything, either, so the order question really depends on the story/character elements in both game (neither of which I know the first thing about.)

I still need to knock out Festival of Blood, but that'll be pretty short. Not sure if I want to take a break between that and the PS4 titles or if I'll want to jump back in. Depends on how much I like FoB I suppose. I've heard it's a lot of fun, though.
I've completed both. Definitely play Second Son before First Light if you can. Especially since you're someone who cares about the smallest plot details. Not a huge deal either way, though. FL almost plays like a glorified demo so it was likely a move to hook people who haven't tried SS.

That is one i have, because other people recommended it and said it worked. But what are the odds that I've gotten two bad splitters from completely different companies?

On this one you posted, there's a light that blinks orange when the PS4 is on. It came with no instructions though, so I don't know how to tell what that means.
Do you need a switch or splitter? I bought the splitter that I think tyler recommended. I don't use it with my PS4 though. It works fine with my Playstation TV, Fios cablebox and off brand blurray player. I can find the part I ordered from Amazon if you are looking for a 3 port switch.

I can't imagine what you could be doing wrong.  If you have the output to the TV and the input to the 2 consoles, you would think it would just work.

Kilik meant an Audio Video Receiver.  Based on previous conversations, it seems like I am one of the few in the thread that has one of those.  It does both surround sound processing and input switching.  They are much more expensive than just getting an HDMI switch but provide a lot of other features as well.

I have one, Onkyo NR607 I think is the model.

Speakers are Def Tech 5.1 system.

I don't know about cheap, low review score HDMI switches, but I have this somewhat more expensive one and it works great:

My only complaint is that the blue lights on it are ridiculously bright. I put masking tap over them to dim them. Other than that, though, it is nice.

We have the 360, PS3 and Wii U connected to the TV through it.

Also you keep saying splitter. A splitter takes one input and sends it to multiple outputs. I assume that's not what you are trying to do.

Has no one here seen "I Love You Man"? Fun movie.

I'm tired. I haven't played much in terms of games lately. It kind of sucks. I'm having withdrawals. I started up Child of Light on Vita. It looks pretty, and so far it's ok. Only up to Chapter 2 though. I think in general though turn based RPG combat can be pretty boring. The last game I remember enjoying it in was Costume Quest. I guess if it's done right it works.

Woah Dave looked like a bad game and I was surprised that was chosen for TiT. I'm glad I haven't started it.
They can't all be pix the cat I guess.

My actual biggest complaint with it is the UFOs. When they blast away part of the top platforms the difficulty ramps way up which makes it a lot less fun. I got 4 UFOs at the same time in my last game and as a result burned through all three lives in seconds.

Also, it is not fun to look at.

Liked for I love you man. One of my favorite movies.

I like the pixel art. I haven't even unlocked bonkers mode, so I can't comment on the UFOs. At least I don't think we get UFOs in normal. I haven't seen them yet.

Somebody on the global leaderboard had $12.xx, so at least one person probably has all the trophies.

I liked Paul Rudd in Role Models and Anchorman, but I think he's probably best left to stupid comedies. I'm not excited for an Ant-Man movie, and even less excited of Rudd as a superhero.

UFOs start showing up on Normal after you get $1.00. Bonkers just seems ridiculously hard to me.

As for that guy on the leaderboard, he's clearly insane.

Yeah Stotch, spend over $1,000 instead of $6. Does someone who watches wrestling even have that much money?

stotch what is even going on in this picture?

Did people say something like that when two brothers, best known for writing Community episodes, were announced as the directors for the second Captain America?
Vig. The problem is the fuck ing movie is called Ant-Man. ANT-MAN. Read that aloud and then tell someone you are going to watch a movie called ANT-MAN.

Then look at that dumbass hyphen. A hyphen in a two word movie title? Dumb.

If that's all it takes for anyone to denounce a movie, then fine. I'm still going to hope for the best.

Also, Spider-Man says hello.

Yeah Ant-man is quite possibly the dumbest superhero ever.
As a huge fan of comics, I will admit he is right up there at the top.

I think he is one of the characters that Marvel had that they wanted to be like Batman for DC. He is in fact not a superhero. He is a regular guy who has powers due to technology he possesses and not due to some mutation or being an alien. For Batman, it worked. For Ant-Man, not so much.

I found it even more amusing that after creating the Ant-Man character they pretty much doubled down with the Wasp character. Essentially that character is Ant-Man with boobs who could fly without riding an ant.

We could still have a secondary contest for First Light, like fastest 100% like virtua fighter 2 or something. Idk tho cuz that fucks people that started it yesterday, but that's only a 1day lead. Or I have no idea at all. Where am I and how did I get here

We could amend the TiT (since it seems no one is going for the 1,000 pennies trophy now) to give leaderboard points to the top 5 scores at the end of the month.  Tyler should have everyone on his list from the Spelunky tourney, so he'd be able to check the friend leaderboard on Feb 1, and the top five get the props.

I'd actually be OK with this.

That makes sense to me. If somebody does manage to get 1000 pennies (and thus likely all the trophies) they will also win this high score contest.

Question about WOAH blocks. What triggers them? Is it points or time? In order to get 2 woah blocks on screen at the same time is this just a matter of surviving long enough, or do you also have to pick up pennies to eventually trigger the next block?

It's too bad this game isn't out on PS4 yet. I'd like to see you guys that are getting in the $2 range play.

PSN can suck my dick at this point.
I synced a few trophies last night for Whoa Dave but when I went to play it again, I wasn't able to connect to the network and was getting the same error. PS3 was also not able to connect with a DNS error so the long and short of it: You broke the entire thing with The Golf Club.

My experience has been it's just time. I've had a woah block land on my head, and had to carry it around and eventually another one dropped down.

I have no idea who those dudes are. I watch PPVs, and then just check out recaps of Raw. I don't follow Smackdown or any of the other shows at all. But I really have no idea who that is or what they're doing.

And yeah I kept saying splitter, but I meant switch. My bad.

Going back over some of the posts from last night. Some of you guys really hate Woah Dave, eh? I don't think it's the greatest game ever, sure, but it's kind of addicting. And I do like the pixel art. Maybe I'll hate it once I get to the UFOs, though. Don't know.
