Go on the site and use the chat support option. Explain what happened and they should either refund you your money or make it a part of your owned items since they'll be able to see the purchase.

 
Well I am having a lot more fun with Hardline so far than I thought.  Love the different game modes, the cop stuff is still kind of meh to me though.

That's putting it lightly. You know those all those motion capture scenes starting from Season 6 (I think). Scenes like where Grif drives warthog through the wall? All started from Monty's work. Just like how Gavin is a well known industry "slow mo" person, Monty was the "Mo-cap" guy that was able to turn the later seasons of the show into more than just game recordings. He also created RWBY. He was an amazing person with amazing talent, and will be missed.



Back on topic, the sales are kind of lackluster this week. Oh well.

This same thing happened to me on Christmas Eve when I tried to buy a piece of Minecraft DLC. It seemed like Microsoft figured it out fairly quickly without me doing anything, because they credited the cost back to me within 24 hours, but YMMV.

I'm waiting for $30, if not less. I know content isn't everything, and length doesn't always matter (that's what she said), but it has less sequences than all the previous Assassin's Creeds. Also, the fact that it plays exactly like Black Flag, means I can ditch my traditional "buy AC in January/February" trend and wait for it to be cheaper.

 
I'm trying to decide between FC4 vanilla and the gold edition. I thought the season pass included future dlc but I can't find any evidence of that anywhere. It looks like it only includes the bonus missions, some extra weapons and some multiplayer stuff. Can anyone offer any insight as whether or not that stuff is worth an extra $20? The game seems pretty packed full of stuff as it is.

The only Battlefield game I liked was Bad Company 2. But I'm still interested in this beta anyway.

Deadfall Adventure. Tried the demo and liked it. Bought the game and got frustrated. The controls can be very picky, especially when you try to interact with an object and the prompt appears very quickly. For flashlight gameplay, I'll stick with Alan Wake.

I really liked de Blob 2. If you like platformers at all, buy it. I still need to go back and get the last achievement sometime.

I would say stick with the vanilla. There is somewhere around 30 hours worth of content if you want to beat all the missions/side quests and get all the achievements. The extra weapons are probably not worth it, because you can get really good weapons by doing side quests, and the multiplayer is alright, but definitely not worth spending extra money on.

 
So many games I haven't even heard of this week. I may blind purchase Deadfall Adventures based off the praise it got in the thread as well as the fact that it's 90% off. I'll probably hold off on that until next week though.

The sales this week didn't help me any in my indecisiveness when it comes to Mirror's Edge. I guess it's time to download the demo. Seems like a new game type for me but that's the reason I want to and don't want to buy it.

 
Well after playing Hardline beta all night I'm going to cave and buy BF4.  Still fun to snipe and fly a chopper.  I like the cops v. robbers stuff but the regular BF stuff doesn't feel as good to me.  So I'll pick Hardline up down the road at an inevitable sale, but before the beta it was a definite pass for me.

 
There's a reason why THQ died. It had a helluva lot of mediocre games. The EA sale seems to be the best we're going to do for a while on 360. That said, I'm considering Juju but I can't find much info about it other than that it's a cooperative platformer.
 
Guess I'll see you guys on the field. I need a squad anyway. Tried the vanilla game tonight online for a match and...wow. Night and day difference in how well it works

Yeah, but I don't think Premium has any SP content though and he could have gotten the base game for far cheaper.

I just woke up from a nap and I'm glad it's still up. Got the premium edition and gonna trade mine in on amazon. Pretty much paying 7-9 bucks for the maps which I don't think is too bad.

Very tempted to get UFC as well. 10 seems awesome, got like 7 bucks left in my marketplace wallet

At the last minute, I went Dragon Age crazy. Origins, Awakenings and II - all for $14. Can't beat that. God knows when I'll play them all. Hope my 360 still works in 40 or 50 years. I'll beat them in the assisted living facility.
 
I would love join to the party but damn I didn't realize it was $24 for it. I know that's a really good price for premium and the full game but yea gotta pass with Evolve coming next week. I'm sure we will see an ea sale with it maybe $5 cheaper or so in the next couple months. I'll grab it then.

You realize Awakenings is just dlc for Origins, right? Not saying it's not worth getting but just thought Id throw that out there.

Yup, but it's already bought. Where were you at 3:30 a.m. when I was shopping haphazardly? Friends don't let friends buy Dragon Age DLC. But, seriously, thanks though.

I've seen alot of hate for evolve on here, reddit, really everwhere. I was kinda meh about the alpha think I got burned out having only two maps and one mode but I loved the beta had more maps and game modes. It is an extremely balanced game that takes a good understanding on how to play it. I remember reading the stats on the beta and it was 51.5% hunters-48.5% monster who won in 2.2 million games played. That really proves how balanced it is.

Every class has a different feel and there's so much to unlock for each character. They're talking about releasing free maps and modes post release while you have to pay for any released hunters/monsters. But even if you don't buy those characters you still can play with/against them. The developers are really trying to build a strong community this way and not split or leave anyone out in matchmaking.

It's from the creator of l4d and I feel he really built on the formula and took coop gameplay to new heights. This is just my impression based on the alpha and beta but I think this will be one of the best games this year and have tremendous amounts of replay value.

Its only going to me cost $10+tax because of the MS store trade in promo and comes with a free $10 gift card. I've posted that the beta and alpha was wack but for that price its worth actually trying the full game. I can always dump it at BB for around $44 if its still isn't for me.
