So the white night video works now? I tried watching it earlier but kept getting an error message.

Also missed your last bf4 livestream but will watch the next one. I almost bought it this week but kept changing my mind until it was too late. I'd like to see what I'm missing.

WTF man, I switched on my XB1 and every single game is removed from my external hdd - every single game I own on the console is gone.

And the system is fuk as slow. It takes 10 frigging minutes to move from tile to tile. Gaw-farking-dammit.

That happened to me before...Didn't know hard reset can do that, but what I did was turn off then put external drive in different usb port, then turn on...there it is, everything's fine.

 
I take back what I said earlier about this week's Xbox 360 sale. I immediately bought Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune since they were 764.25 mb and 589.11 mb respectively which doesn't put much of a hurting on my hard drive. I'm also considering the first Darksiders since used copies always seem too expensive at GameStop along with Arcania, Elements of Destruction, Rocket Riot and the Red Faction Guerilla DLC. Any thoughts on Arcania? There are 1000 open world games out these days and all the reviews say it's pretty basic.
 
I played through Arcania last summer and basic is probably too exciting a word to describe the game.

The main character, the setting, the gameplay, the dialogue, voice acting, enemies......everything felt so generic and  uninspiring which is a shame because the prequels are held in high regard. The framerate is also a mess and very reminiscent of the original Two Worlds. Despite all this, I didn't exactly hate the game, but I can barely recall much about it and will never play it again.

This is very true. It's not a "bad" game, it's just not that good and there's just so many better RPGs on 360 that more worth your time. If you have a backlog (and I'm assuming you do), this will inevitably get added to it.
 
Wait...wtf? Are they seriously dumping worms battlegrounds on us two months in a row and counting that as a new free game? Great, a multiplayer-only game with laggy online and a crappy game which is completely redundant. Good job MS way to keep up with PS Plus -_-
 
Man I wish we could get a sale on XBO Watch_Dogs bad blood dlc.  I have the 1k and just want to do the dlc so I can trade it in.

Is Worms Battlegrounds really just multiplayer? I didn't know any worms games were missing single player.

Both Worms and #IDARB have singleplayer story modes. Usually there is only one new free game monthly on Xbox One.

Quite the opposite for me, I bought BF4 again because of how much I was enjoying the Hardline beta. I just won't spend $60 on it plus another $50 or whatever for Premium when it will be significantly cheaper sooner than later.

damn you just missed it premium was 20 last week and the premium edition was 24 on the marketplace which is why everyone is talking about playing bf4 now.

yea I'm diggin the hardline beta. It is basically bf4 mechanics (could've prob been a dlc expansion) but the game modes are really fun. Heist mode makes payday 2 look like an indie game and I can see alot of replay value in hotwire with the conquest points constantly moving.

Actually, it's 3 months now, since it was free in December. I wonder if MS is having trouble getting games for XB1 GwG. All the ones so far have either been published by Microsoft Studios or released through the ID@Xbox program. Games marked with a * released as a GwG title.

I got It yesterday and have enjoyed it so far. It's just like 3, from what I've played, but I loved 3 so I don't mind.

I'm also looking for a kinect for xbone so if you find a good source, let me know and I'll do the same!

They just had a bunch of games on sale at the end of December. They might afraid of backlash if they start making those games free too soon. I wouldn't mind though because I'd have more friends to play multiplayer with.

They just had a bunch of games on sale at the end of December. They might afraid of backlash if they start making those games free too soon. I wouldn't mind though because I'd have more friends to play multiplayer with.

I believe X1 is only supposed to receive 1 GwG a month. At least those who just get an X1 has a chance to get a GwG they may not have gotten earlier.

 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but when I looked, the PS+ PS4 titles were only indie and arcade type games, too. Only real retail thing they've had was Injustice, which has been cheap as fuck before...

Yeah its equally bad on both fronts. It does look like MS can't or wont take further loses so they arent giving anything worthwhile for free. Having said that some of the free games have been really good, its just that when it is given away for free people tend to become suspicious :)

I wonder if Ryse might be slated for the first retail XB1 GwG. Unlike Forza 5 and Dead Rising 3, the base game is still available digitally by itself. Base Titanfall is still available, too, but that's been on sale pretty frequently (Black Friday, Countdown and last week). Ryse wasn't part of the December sales, but the Legendary bundle was on sale for Black Friday. Published by Microsoft as well. Don't know if 3 full months would be enough time since the last sale for most people not to be too enraged if it's GwG in March.

I already replied yesterday but anyways...no, the hard reset didnt work. So I powered the system down and switched the external hdd to the other usb port and it worked after that.

Thanks for the help, I freaked out for a little while...I know I didnt loose any games but the fact that I had to re-download all the games plus the fact that someone/something just wiped out my hdd didnt sit well.

I thought the #IDARB was multiplayer only. Even though there are bots and apparently some story mode...come on. It's a multiplayer game first and foremost. This wouldnt exist if it only could have a single player mode.

Plus gives more games in quality AND quantity. We really need people to stop judging all indie games based on their label instead of the actual content. I value $10 indie games higher than many overexpensive, $60 AAA titles.

The more I play of Battlefield Hardline the more I come to like it. It feels really clunky in some areas, but the game-play is still fun. I particularly enjoy all of the maps and I like how open they are and being able to go into a lot of buildings is nice.

Here's a rundown of what I like/dislike with it overall.

+The maps are really nice and open.

+The Cops vs Robbers setting is a breath of fresh air and I enjoy the little touches they put on it like when you mark targets.

+Car Radio is cool and the song selection isn't half bad.

+Hardline is a really fun mode. I enjoy it a lot even though I feel like people don't use the vehicles enough and prefer to play it like TDM.

-I don't particularly enjoy any of the guns. The AR's have insane recoil which leads to poor accuracy, the shotgun feels like it sometimes does no damage even if you directly hit somebody, and SMG's feel off ammo/range wise.

-While I enjoy the "Freedom of Choice" the cash system offers I think it takes too long to buy anything decent. I've played over 5 matches and have done pretty damn good in them, but I only have 12k which doesn't even get me a Stun Gun.

-Some elements feel way too clunky. Sometimes you can't jump through some windows, using X to interact with doors or switches feels like it has a delay from the time you press it and sometimes I need to press it multiple times, and it feel like you should be able to climb over more things.

-The destruction is really toned down in a bad way. I'm okay with not destroying everything in sight, but I got really annoyed when I was driving around in an SUV and slammed into a wooden fence and got stuck in place because I'm not "Allowed" to destroy that.

Ugh...more implications that if some one calls a $10 game bad means he/she hates indies and he/she thinks a $60 game is awesome. A bad game is a bad game and its a personal opinion. If you dont like it, too bad. Stop judging people by their opinion about indie games. You may want to go back and read my post again, btw...

 
I was just asking a question of the tools that claim that the PS+ titles were SO superior to the MS offerings. Your reading comprehension sucks. Lay down the controller and pick up a book.

Well, this month PS+ got THREE PS4 games, all of which are very well reviewed. Transistor, Apotheon and Rogue Legacy vs. #IDARB. Not even close as to which was better. Transistor was a platform finalist for GoTY alone.

If we get any additional stuff with Gold for the XBox One, it won't be until E3 when they make it sound like it was their idea all along and they came up with it.

Far Cry 4 was awesome. 3's mechanics but improved upon in nearly all aspects. And the Buzzers. So much freedom.
If you guys are achievement hunters/addicts I've been trying to do the multiplayer one (play every game mode) but can never manage a full game all the way through. Doesn't help the servers are utter crap. If you're down or need help with the co-op achievements or campaign, add me. Or add me just to have more friends. I play a lot of different games. *true CAG in practice, not theory*

I've played like 20 hours of #IDARB already, so for me this game is really good. I can't wait until they patch in the more consoles for online. I love the hashbombs aspect a lot.
