well calling dosent always work i have called before and they told me they dont have a certain one i end up there later that day from passing it while driving or something and i find it just depends on the employee you get i have had people who have blown me off and others who took the time to look and actually help me out

i have said this for awhile that amazon support is horrible at trying to fix problems that aren't on their script. It's like talking to a robot, they try the best to figure out which script matches your problem, then they start copying and pasting different scripts until you're off the chat.

I just received a few from Amazon's international sites. The boxes for WFT and Lucario were banged up but luckily the amiibo still had there head on and I was planning on opening them. I was scared though when I first looked at the packaging and noticed the box said received in damage condition on it lol.

Reddit used to be great back in the day... you could go into any thread and see some distinct and thoughtful discussion. Now, most of the time, it's full of people trying to be funny (even on some of the more morbid stuff).

I just have 2 pages pulled up of a search list for "Marth Amiibo" on Amazon and Ebay. Seeing how long before they all crumble.

 
You guys seem to be forgetting that Shulk had a reprint and he still goes for $40. It's great to rejoice at another chance but I'd caution you on the fact that this thing will likely sell out faster than gold mario

yup and i was able to get 2 of the reprint of Shulk thats all i wanted and all i needed one for me and one for my nephew and im sure ill be able to do the same with Marth

True. But they aren't selling. On my local trading thread, after Gamestop did the re-pre-orders for May, no one has since asked for a Shulk. It's just Dedede, Lucario and the trinity.

Going through eBay they're still going at a decent clip, this is going to be crazy because you're going to likely get a ridiculous amount of collectors trying to buy multiples to trade for wft or villager as well.

More a word of caution than anything else

It'll rebound. It's Nintendo so we won't see Mario/Link levels of the figure, and they'll be a mad dash for these figures when they go up for sale. Once the stock sells out, it'll go back to how it was. Maybe not to the highest levels, but it will still be top 5 value.

I'm extremely curious to see how this'll go. I get the feeling this is going to influence any reprints in the future.

Are scalpers going to try and buy up as many as they can in hopes of controlling the market price? Are non-scalpers going to buy an extra or two in hopes that he's still worth something and they can turn a quick buck on him? Is the reprint going to be just enough to calm demand or is it going to flood the market (resulting in returns/overstock)?

We're already at that tipping IMO. Just looking at the sheer amount of people asking if megaman/sonic/ike/dedede is rare or not and putting them up for trades is getting ridiculous. The scalpers are going to be here for marth but everyone is going to try and get as much as they can like with any other remotely rare amiibo going from here.

Strange, when I open the link in mobile it shows me $70-$80, when I open the link in my desktop it shows $100-$170. Da fuck ebay?

I was going to get it at BBY but then Amazon lowered it to $49.99, I figured I would give Amazon my business but I think I'll just change it to BBY and not worry about the hassle.
