I've been doing difficulty 7s with randoms pretty consistently, despite the idiots. It hasn't all been bad. I've ran into a couple cool people with mics, and one really annoying guy with a mic who was supposedly streaming at the time. I couldn't shake the feeling he was making up names on the spot and saying random things he was pretending to read and respond to.

Never, ever let a Crush Trap live in Spelunky if you have the bombs to destroy it.   fuck those things so much.

Also I did like a 6:15 Speedlunky run on 360 that I was pretty happy with.

Also also, remember to push your clocks forward an hour tonight.  God I hate losing an hour, fucks with my sleep schedule for at least a week.

Unrelated, I finally unlocked the boxy mech in Helldivers. I guess i need to actually select planets with worthwhile rewards rather than relying on randoms to choose them. Working on a planet with the APC as a reward now, but it's tough solo. I throw the SOS beacon, but i am forever alone. *cries silently*

Come on man, one hour? Dont tell me you go to bed at the exact same time every night. If you dont then missing one hour of sleep shouldnt affect anything.

 
How do you throw an SOS beacon and what exactly does it do?

I should be able to fit in some Helldivers later this afternoon. I have the mech but need to upgrade it. Need a vehicle.

SOS is supposed to make you show up higher / more frequently (?) in the matchmaking list so that you're more likely to get people joining in. You should just have it if you're not on a four person team I think.

Is this a decent game? I have a 2DS I never use but would like to. Metacritic scores seems a bit low? But IGN seems a bit higher.

Honestly, I think it was a really lazy showing from Nintendo. Every gameplay video I watched for it just made me want to play the original Yoshi's Island that much more--the bosses look boring and unimaginative, the music sounds very monotonous and grating, and the graphics just look weird.

Also, the final boss has a really dumb "plot twist":
time-traveling adult Bowser? lolno

Yeah I really don't like spending almost 20 on a digital game anyway. Thanks. Watched some game play video looked decent but I think I am going to pass.

 
I am watching the final credits of AC: Rogue.  The story on this one tied more together than Revelations did and unlike most other AC games the story mode did not have a lot of stupid filler missions where you had to tail someone.

I think overall the collectibles and map is still really bigger than it should be.  However, it bothered me way less than it has in other versions of the game.  I assume that is because Shay is the best main character not named Ezio that I have played as in the series (note I have not played 4 or Unity).

I really hope there is another game based in America where you play as both Shay and Connor.  That would be pretty cool.

I was probably 2 or 3 minutes into credits when I posted that. Im still watching credits as I post this. No you can't skip them. Who didn't work on this game besides me? Good lord...

I just bought 2 dragons crown for a friend and I to play together and army corps. Would have really loved those rpgs or dynasty warrior games.

 
There's a couple BB in my area I'll be checking, but I know from previous visits that neither generally has much of a used Vita stock. Crazy good prices, though.

Darn you, I was just about to post that. Too bad there's practically nothing in-stock, though I did manage to get UMvC3 and LEGO: Legends of Chima. Disgaea 4 for $7.19 would have been awesome.

Not sure how accurate the web page is, if that's what you're asking. From what I can tell you have to check every game individually, though--there's not a way to just get a listing for what's available in a specific store. Not that I can find, anyway. Too much of a pain in the ass for me to bother with outside of a few games.

 
FYI, the used-game stock checker for Best Buy tends to be much more specific than for other things--usually it will say "Available" if there are 3+ of something in-stock, but for used games, it tends to say "Available" if they have even 1 in-stock.

I dunno, mine just ditched their used vita section altogether around the holidays. They only have 5 vita games left on the shelf.

Michael Jackson Experience is available for shipping. That's all I've found so far.

Yeah, I'm in sequence 4 now and actually liking it a lot more than at first. It still feels like a big Black Flag expansion but since I only paid $25 on Black Friday for it I feel I am going to get my money's worth. Dont know if I'll go for the plat, though.

Well I just setup a dummy lobby in dead or alive and went to the grocery store. When I got back I had my 100 match trophy, so apparently some people were willing to fight someone who doesn't fight back. A lot.

I have now gotten a trophy while working using my feet, a trophy while driving, and a trophy while buying groceries two miles away.
 
im always down for some dragon's crown and some mvc/mvc2/umvc3/mvc vita co op fun.
