I'll agree that the albums weren't as solid as the previous albums but they are an amazing band. Have you ever seen them live? I've seen them about 9 times and it's magic every time.

Yeah saw them on The Bends tour and again during Ok Computer. The Bends show was pretty small and I met Marilyn Manson there...random I know. The Bends show was amazing and I'd probably just compare every show to that being in a small-ish venue. They are amazing live. It's one of those things you go no way that guy can sing like that, no yep he can. Lol.

Yeah I swear I did it just a month or so ago. Are you sure you are picking the right credit reporting company? You have to pick a different one every year.

First time for me was the Kid A tour but caught multiple shows on the following tours. Nothing like 3 nights of Radiohead including the Hollywood Bowl. It's amazing how they pull off everything on the albums live and without a hitch. They are truly talented. Even Manson respects Radiohead, that's great you got to meet him.

yep I hadn't tried in over a year until today. Same with last year. I tried each one separately and all three failed. Without even letting me answer questions.

So since this is the official lunch/subs/beer thread what are the official stances on the following?

Firehouse Subs - They've been running commercials for this a bunch around here and noticed a couple have popped up close enough to try.

Potbelly Sandwich Works - Heard good things but they're finally opening one up near here.

Atwood Vanilla Java Porter - I'm not sure what to think of this. Has anyone had this or something similar? I just can't wrap my brain around what it would actually taste like and whether it would be delicious or terrible. The description on the box also mentions chocolate in the flavor description in addition to this from the website:

$10 was too much for me to spend on it when it could be disgusting so I cheaped out and bought Trader Joe's generic Dark Ale to try (which hopefully isn't undrinkable). Very dissatisfied that even the cheap beer that I'll drink is mostly $8+ now at Kroger.

If it's like BF4 then probably. That's only around 10% for the plat even though all but like three or four trophies are fairly easy single player ones.

So weird when they signed Matthews and still have Sproles. You would have to think they don't intend to keep Sproles then but he fit that offense so well.

Firehouse seems to be universally liked in the thread.  I think everyone at least likes the brisket sub.  Most love it.

As far as that beer, I have not had much of anything from Atwater.  That style would be in my wheelhouse though.  When beers mention chocolate flavors, it is usually dark chocolate type of tastes.  If you like coffee, you should like coffee in beer.  If you don't like vanilla, you need new taste buds.  All those things together usually make for a really good beer.  That assumes the brewery knows what they are doing.

 
How long until Crunchewy actually gets to 1000 trophies?

Bought an early release copy of Bladestorm and Fate Awakened, can't wait to play those. I'll probably be streaming those later tonight plus Zombie Army Trilogy if anyone wants to watch.

Brisket, meatball, and Italian (in that order) plus grape Mellow Yellow are where it's at at Firehouse.

The wreck and an Oreo shake are where it's at at Potbelly's.

I just can't wrap my brain around it. Like the description makes me think something sweet even though I know I'm in the completely wrong ballpark. Though an alcoholic mocha frappachino could be delicious.

IT'S JUST AN OREO MILKSHAKE! OREOS AND ICE CREAM! YOU CAN MAKE IT AT HOME!

But yeah, Brisket at Firehouse no doubt. Wreck is great and I really enjoyed the Pizza sandwich at Potbelly's too. I thought the hot peppers were really hot there and took away from the flavor of the rest of the sandwich, I don't recommend those.

So The Order did probably around 250k.  Not amazing but I guess it could have been worse.  I can't imagine Sony is overly happy.

In January the Mormon Church came out and held a press conference to support LGBT rights and religious group rights.

Now the last day of the Utah State legislation there's a big party at the capitol for the Governor to sign the Equality bill for anti-discrimination and religious freedom.  

Good ole separation of church and state!

Also there is a bill that makes not wearing a seatbelt a primary offense, meaning that cops can pull you over just for not wearing your seatbelt.  That law has always seemed a bit unconstitutional to me.  

 
From those sales, sounds like we'll get The Order as a PS+ game next month! Make something good of it, Sony!

There's no way they were surprised, though.

This is the only blemish on the studio's record and their engine is ready to go. They'll probably end up doing a sequel (I wish they wouldn't) so hopefully they can bring out something good the next time.

I don't follow any of this financial stuff much, but i have to believe Sony were expecting better sales than that. The number of commercials i saw for it were way more than any other sony exclusive in my memory.

In other news, I've just received word that Best Buy has about 240,000 used copies of The Order for sale.
 
I'm wondering how many people are going to be stupid and pay for that FFXV. And I wonder how many scummy Vigilante's are going to take advantage of those people who are clearly mentally handicapped.

While I'm on the same page with you about water at restaurants I disagree with you on this. On the surface your premise seems sound but you overlook it omit several key details. First, I doubt most of us have the mixer that is required to get that restaurant quality milkshake. Second, even when using branded ice cream what they have in restaurants is completely different from what's available at stores. Not to mention any other secret ingredients.

Simply mixing ice cream and Oreos may be passable but its nowhere near the same

I just think the delay from holiday 2014 to February was their way of ducking most of the competition because they knew they didn't have a true blockbuster on their hands. Their only real console competition was Evolve and Dying Light.

Plus, vgchartz.com has them at 559,000 units sold worldwide.

 
Tyler, the Dolphins are making some interesting moves. They signed the Browns TE Jordan Cameron (who I think is an upgrade over Charles Clay). They also signed Brian McCain who is a pretty solid cornerback.

It will be interesting to see who they pick in the draft. I hope they don't waste their first round pick on a wide receiver. We need a good offensive lineman or a middle linebacker.
 
you know, I'm trying to like AC Rogue but every once in a while some really stupid fucking shit happens and I have to rant about it here:

Doing an Assassin Interception, and after killing the 3rd assassin the guards in the area start noticing me and give chase.  They follow me across half the freaking area as I go to kill the 4th assassin and then 3 more guards show up and I end up dying.  No big deal, I'll just respawn...except I respawned 4000 DAMN METERS AWAY!  And I cant fast travel back there because the mission objective is still up...Are you fuck ing kidding me Ubisoft?!

EDIT:  And of course, I finally manage to sail all the way back there, and as soon as I go to dock I get a message that the target died.  fuck that shit

Finally finished my first difficulty 10 planet and I got a Tesla tower and 2 trophies for the effort. I don't know what kind of dumb shit you'll have to do get 100k kills, but otherwise you could get most of these trophies on accident.

Not that no alarms one though, that's nonsense. I should probably play some mop up games tomorrow.

Same thing happened to me, and that was what I did.
