Nice. I happened upon some randoms doing the last mission needed to unlock the big tank. If you're gonna do something, you might as well do it half assed.

After spending at least two hours on it on the public transportation today, as well as a good 20 minutes just now, I would like to officially curse the spikes surrounding the last life orb in La-Mulana and invite them to go get fucked running with Ghost pepper sauce covered candles.

I mean look at this bullshit.

Flame Over is super tough, but I'm making some progress. Wasn't sure I liked it at first, but it's growing on me.

Not sure what the secret is to finding the briefcase, but I've stumbled upon it a few times. Used them to unlock the upgrade for water refill rate.

I hate those moments when you spend forever on a section of a game trying to figure out how to solve the puzzle that will facilitate getting to the next area. You sit there staring at the screen, trying all this stupid shit that will possibly make something trigger, but nothing ever works. Then you finally give up and look up the answer, and see that there was no puzzle at all. You were just missing an out of the way wall that you needed to grab.

Yep. Happens to me all the time.

 
Loaded up GTA Chinatown Wars to run a few missions before sleeping. Instead I spent two hours obsessively following the email leads across the map to traffic drugs. This is why I've never finished the campaign of a GTA game.

Pancakes and I practiced a couple different maps for 3 hours and Velo was along for about the last hour. We were within 2 seconds of extraction on one run and I almost quit. But practice makes perfect!

We did it against the Illuminate as they have "easy" to kill enemies that set off the alarm. We found a map with the least amount of objectives and we stayed away from the SAM sites you have to activate. We ran everywhere and tried to stay out of sight.

Clearance at Target has always been YMMV, but I've noticed some common titles among several Targets I've visited.

Speaking of things I like, I love it that I keep getting invites for lunch time meetings on Fridays! Yeah, no you idiot, I will not accept an invite for 12pm or 1230pm when my calendar is open the REST OF THE ENTIRE DAY.

In this case it's not clearance though, this is a combination of stuff stores dropped off their displays and put in the backroom, excess inventory and stuff they may have gotten in for the big bin during the holidays. So the prices on these are universal (ie not clearance) and the titles should be more or less the same across all stores assuming they still have inventory.

I've only looked at probably 5 of my local targets but they all have the same full endcap of games and it looks to be mostly the same.
 
Also, I got a $200 GC at work yesterday for staying till 8 PM one night last week helping with some payroll stuff. The decision...do I put it in my honeymoon fund or finally grab myself a VITA?!
 
Of course you guys get this shit on the night I'm not playing anything. Hopefully I can return to form now. This last week has been a total waste.
 
My downtown Target has the AC Americas collection for $30.  That paired with a cheapo might make things worth it.  maybe.  I saw Revengence in the bin too so maybe that if the same price?

I wasn't playing Helldivers last night so I missed out, and have missed out on more stuff. Got caught up in Flame Over. Tonight is also going to be out - my wife and I will probably watch some of The Wire.

 
So Amazon relisted that PS4 Hori HD Monitor at 299.99 and, for shits and giggles, I asked customer service if they would be willing to let me order one at the original price of 14.99 that they cancelled last month, expecting a sorry, we can't do that response.  But they did with 1 day shipping.   :D/ Here's hoping they actually ship it this time.
