My list is at 21 games. I'm trying to decide if I really need all those. I've got Klonoa on there, but I already have the Wii-make, so I may skip that.
Yeah. My list is at 23. It kind of feels insane, but at the same time it's going to be like $22. That's nothing. What else in this world am I going to spend $0.96 on that is better than Puzzle Agent?

OK I got 8 games in my cart:

  • Pac-Man DX
  • Sacred Citadel
  • Matt Hazard: Blood Bath and Beyond
  • Eat Lead: Return of Matt Hazard
  • Heavy Fire: Shattered Spear
  • Heavy Fire: Afghanistan
  • Shoot Many Robots
  • Babel Rising
Already have Tokyo Jungle and Dead Nation and Tennis and Cloudberry from other sales or I'd get those too.  May get Puzzle Agents, but it looks to be super super short.  Yay for cheap cheap shit anyway.

Off to go buy a PSN card.

Hey Gator,

Those Heavy Fire games require the move navigation controller? Or can I just use my light up doodad wand?
I want to say the Navi is needed. However, I am pretty sure you can use a DS3 instead of a Navi. It might be a bit awkward to hold it one handed, but I want to say I remember people mentioning you can do that. I have a Navi so it wasn't a concern for me.

Ended up spending $19.83

Surgeon SImulator
Mega Man X4
Game of Thrones
Mega Man X5
Home
Puzzle Agent
Sam & Max Beyond Time
Eat Lead: Return of Matt Hazard
Matt Hazard Blood Bath
Texas Cheat'Em
Heavy Fire: Shattered Spear
Heavy Fire: Afghanistan
RIPD
Zeno Clash 2
Expendables 2
Mad Riders
Babel Rising
Flashback
Noby Noby Boy

Prolly gonna get Sam and Max. Dem some funny games yo. Only played The Devils Playhouse from when that was free on ps+ like 10 years ago.

I find it hilarious when people ask if some games from this sale are worth it when they're all less than a dollar.  Like, there's being a CAG and then there's CAG'in it too far.  We're frugal as hell all the other 364 days of the year; dollar flash sale days are when you let loose and just throw it all in the [customspoiler='cart']

preliminary haul

pac-man

expendables

sacred citadel

matt hazzard x 2

heavy fire x 2

home

i may go back and pick up some others later. probably won't though. was semi interested in bttf and jurassic park, but i'm not sure they'd hold my interest after playing ones like wolf among us and tales of blands. game of thrones would be another choice, but i know i'll never get to it...eh, screw it, adding game of thrones as well, but that's it...for now...

Aw man, did I buy two games that require a Move accessory when I don't own any? I was hoping I could just use the DS3 for everything.

i bought everything. less than a dollar is crazy

backlog for life

i started magrunner but never started the game, just went to title screen and changed my mind.

im actually playing some final exam with my girl finally.

i saved $4 not buying zeno clash 2 and ripd on sale last week, so bam, 4 more games.

this makes the $30 bf4 ultimate look crazy expensive in retrospect

if all these are ps+ it isn't even a slap in the face, just a lost slot

peace all

hope you are having great weather and not this crazy snow

platted both heavy fire games, they are shit but easy plats. you can use ds3s

I might grab that if there is a spot for me to co op play. I think we have Pay Day 2 though.
Pay Day 2 is really fun to play with a group of friends and if you have all had Plus for a while you should have it already. I think the first one was free at one point as well if memory serves.

The first one is supposed to be much harder than 2 and I can tell you some of the trophies on 2 are an absolute fucking bitch. Luckily I had my entire team from the trophy competitions interested in playing so we stuck with it. They are releasing 2 for the PS4 soon though so while it likely wont be free for some time if at all, you guys might want to wait for it.

I already owned a ton of stuff on the list, but I still got like 6 things, I think. A couple of them were games that I remember playing the demo for years ago, but then completely forgot existed (Puzzle Agent, Babel Rising, Texas Cheat Em). I know I'm dumb, but there are a few I have from PS plus that I would have liked to spend a dollar on to own forever (Gravity Rush and Mutsnt Blobs Vita).

BUY IT ALL, BUY IT ALL!

:whee: :whee: :whee: :whee:

I am disappointed there's not more PS1 classics, especially JRPGs, that aren't repeats from last time.

Gravity Rush for <$1 really puts a damper on that whole PS4-remastered-version rumor.
Having it on PS+ so I can't buy it again puts a damper on it being $1.

Buffalo's come back to tie it at 62 with 2:24 left
I fell asleep at about that point, sad they couldn't pull it out. Way too many nonsense turnovers, missed free throws, and missed lay ups they slammed into the glass so hard that they bounced back out to almost the three point line.

You say that like it's not $1.

I only bought 6 games. I feel like a loser.

But all you guys buying 20 games should show Sony and ms that they should throw a lot of their old games on sale for a dollar like all the time. I bet the majority of these games haven't had a digital purchase in years.

I got these for now. I may take another look later

:ps3: Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard

:ps3: Matt Hazard: Blood Bath and Beyond

:ps3: Flashback

:ps3: Puzzle Agent

:ps3: Babel Rising

:ps3: Narco Terror

:ps3: Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack

:ps4: Home

That's a solid list, I've debated several times in the past about picking up Babel Rising, but every time I re-look up gameplay footage it just doesn't look that fun to play.

You can, though apparently the stick mappings are flipped compared to every other shooting game which uses two sticks. So the stick you are hardwired to aim with is the one that moves you into cover, and the one you normally move with, is the one that aims the cursor.

Definitely passing on:

Tekken 2 - have enough PSP fighting games from PS+ before it stopped being awesome

Twisted Metal Black - will never get played and solo seems kind of pointless on it

Extreme Pinball - PS1 pinball doesn't do it for me

Hi-Octane - Really looks like a PS1 game

Not sure about :

Payday - Online trophies and it's a long, hard plat and would probably only get if others wanted to play it

Battlefront II - Wasn't super fun on console, probably less fun solo with inferior graphics and controls

Super Pocket Tennis - Looks like $1 better spent on Virtua Tennis 4

Texas Cheat Em - No interest in poker but it's short, easy trophies

Heavy Fire Games - These look terrible and I believe someone mentioned the trophies were bugged?

Myst - Not sure if I ever want to play Myst again and can't find much to whether this is a passable port (most are bad)

TAC Heroes - Looks bad and no reviews or anything out there

Magic Carpet - Unsure how this one holds up

Everything else I'm at least strongly leaning towards at the moment. Any input?

I literally am not buying anything. What the hell.
You are a disgrace to this thread, GTFO out and don't come back until you've bought at least five things!

Yeah... that's not really the same as a lunch sized bag of Fritos stuffed with taco stuff. That's what they should have done.

Some of these games you guys are buying have negative value for me. Cheap is cheap, but I already have enough good games in my backlog to not be adding crap to it.
