This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

Haha ah. I don't plan on replacing or looking for a replacement for my 770 OC for at least another year or two. By then I know I can find a better GPU but maybe not at this price. Regardless what a find. Grats to the lucky sobs.

Had a much larger than expected tax return...so tempted to get that bloodborne ps4 console deal from Amazon. blerghhh.
Also oh wow looks like Ubisoft is going to exploit the Crap out of assassins creed some more. I tHink I might be more sick of that franchise than call off duty now

This is what's holding me back, but it is a pretty good deal. and I really want bloodborne
Yeah, same. But as it stands, for me, Bloodborne is my only current major draw to get a PS4 and that I just can't justify well enough. I figure by BF, I'll pick one up with Bloodborne, Uncharted 4 and Hellblade.

Yeah that's the other road block... there's literally nothing else I want. but even with upcoming releases my interest is lukewarm at best. I would buy it, play the Crap out of bloodborne for around a month and probably not touch it for another year

So I was browsing reviews for Adventure Capitalist and it's like someone was reading my mind

Have you ever played Cookie Clicker, and got so addicted to it that you woke up at 3AM to buy more grannies?

If so, stay away from this game. You know what? Don't even just stay away, run. Run as far as you can.
Disclaimer for moderators, anal types, tattle tales and other assorted party poopers: This is in reference to a newly released free game on Steam and therefore is on topic as a PC deal.

Nobody get too excited.

Srsly.
Not exciting, but a solid offering if you don't own any of them. I'll probably buy it since I only own Pixel Piracy. I've had a passing interest in Unepic and Outlast for a while now and the other games have positive reviews on Steam.

About time someone caters to the medically-induced coma set. I applaud you, Humble.

I played it about a week ago and thought it was terrible. it seems really unpolished and empty. Also it's hard to figure out what to do. I can't see myself returning to it anytime soon

Well i think that made my decision for me, thanks. I don't think I'll get this just for Torchlight 2. We'll see what the added games are.

Fwiw torchlight is really good. Im sure you could offload the keys you don't want in the cesspool to lower the price another two bucks or so

I'll go along with this. The first thing that made me wary was all the easy to spot spelling errors in a supposedly finished game.

I think this game had potential, but it really looks like they booted it out of early access as soon as they could and passed it off to somebody else for token updates.

All that bitching and moaning about how this thread would go to hell if the evil overlords forced the deal thread to be about deals appears to have been for naught. Not even 12 hours later and everything is normal again, the sky didn't fall, the world is still spinning. Praise be to the SJW's who fought for the right to continue shit posting for everyone, not just a few privileged jerks.

You need some wings. They'll make you feel good.

The lack of music, gliding along the ground walking "animations"horrible limited voice acting, etc realLy hurt the overall presentation of the game. I tried to give it a shot anyway but after about fifteen minutes of walking around not knowing what to do I gave up

I grabbed the $1 tier just in case the added games are good.

Didn't have any of the 3 so the cards should hopefully offset the gamble that the added games might be of interest to me.

My thoughts for others considering the higher tiers:

I enjoyed TL2 just as much as I did the first one.  Which was quite a bit.  Steam Workshop integration is nice for added material and classes.

Couldn't get into Outlast, despite liking the atmosphere (too much running and hiding for me).

Shadow Warrior is good but not $10 good IMO (unless you want/need the second tier as well).

I don't know if I didn't hit post or if my post was deleted, but I'll try again. With the Dark Souls 2 upgrade being $20 for some people, is it possible to gift the game to others at the same price?

I don't think we'll know until a store page is up or a SDB update. Not the same pub, but DX:HR-DC did not allow gifting with its initial loyalty discount applied.

Actually, it did allow gifting for a while. I know because I gifted a few copies. They did fix it eventually though.
Was just about to say this. I would be surprised if you could Gift ds2 copies at that price, though, especially considering the thought and level of stinginess from software has put into their tiers.

I don't know a ton of people who own the whole Kit and Kaboodle though. Coral, but their pricing usually stinks over there.

Then just Sifu and Provis among CAGs I know.

Secret confession time. I hate bone-in, AKA real, wings. I only like the boneless, AKA chicken nugget, variety. Am I an outcast?
While I don't hate them, I do prefer boneless. Mostly due to the ease of eating/cleanup. What most people call me a heretic for is not liking buffalo/hot/mild wings. Flavor just sucks to me. I much prefer honey BBQ or something like that. Spicy Honey BBQ is the best.

So I have decided that I am fine with kickstarting games from companies I trust as Pillars of Eternity came out and I trust that Shadowrun Hong Kong will as well. But damn is that Prima guide for Pillars of Eternity a fuck ing hot mess. The character creation section contradicts itself in about three major areas I caught and who knows how many errors it actually contains. Makes it kind of worthless for the intended use I had for it of helping to, you know, plan character creation.

You guys are just too lazy to dip your own chicken nuggets into the sauce.

To me boneless and bone in are just so completely different I would never consider one a substitute for the other. "Bone out" aren't even wings, just chicken breast nuggets. The way real wings fry up and soak up the sauce just can't be beat. I also like the mixture of textures between the white and dark meat.

I don't think I ever order boneless unless someone I'm with just hates bone in.

But damn is that Prima guide for [EVERY GAME PRIMA HAS A GUIDE FOR] a fuck ing hot mess.
I still own my old Prima Everquest guide, largely out of hilarity. It only sorta has something to do with the game and I think the rest of it was created via free-associated thinking while blitzed on Ripple.

I used to get the Sims Prima guides years ago and they were always so wrong and half assed. I guess you really can make a living out of giving inaccurate information.
