This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

Jesus says you all are going to hell for the sin of greed.
My Steam-count of 898 games + 382 DLC's; God knows whatelse I have from Retail & w/ other services since I don't feel like checking (Origin, GOG, Desura, G4WL, UPlay, etc); and all of my old-school console games from those old-systems (Atari 7800, NES, Genesis, PlayStation) definitely agree with you.

I meant quoting your pic as in "grabbing a key when it's dropped" - i.e. "Spodering" a key.

I didn't mean quoting your pic as in say "scamming someone."

Of course, it wasn't the best analogy on my half, now that I think about - b/c when Spodering a key, usually nothing's expected in return from doing so...since a key-drop is usually done out of the kindness of someone's heart.

Pickles didn't get anything from the person who Spodered the key from him - and was expecting something b/c they made some kind of trade/deal agreement. :(

What's wrong? Did I hurt your whore feelings?

I say we have a battle royale to the death. Winner gets the key.
Has anyone else actually read that book? I just finished it and it really makes the Hunger Games look like Kindergarten. Also, the game Danganronpa is so much influenced by it, down to the style and even some of the character names.

I found Jesus. I don't need another +1's approval to boost my self esteem.
One of my favorite George Carlin jokes: bumper sticker seen - "I've found Him, I have Jesus in my trunk!"

Has anyone else actually read that book?
I've thought about it sometime, but the issues comes to actually reading a book. Last one I tried to read it took me about 2 years to finish, so stick to mostly audio books now (need to make a note to see if there is an audio book of Battle Royal now that I think about it).

Aw, that's rough. I've been scammed twice on this site. Once out of a year of live I was swapping for 2 360 controllers a few years back and semirecently out of a $25 Xbox currency card.

That sucks. Did he add you on Steam or was he on here?
He was on steam. I posted the trade on Steamtrades (well, i guess it's steamgifts.com/trades now) and he added me saying he saw it. He sent me a link to "his" steamtrades rep but it was actually someone else whom he copied to make everything look the same. My own damn fault for not looking at it closer. fuck Well, at least I know I'll never do that again, too bad it was with Dying Light and not Gun Monkeys or some crap. I sent an email to Steam support, but I HIGHLY doubt they'll do anything about it.

Anyone know how to easily short a toaster?
Yeah, throw them in a lake with me and kill us both (I'm not bitter about the last Hunger Games at all...)

Damn toaster...

Does anyone have an opinion on getting the Metro Redux versions?  I've heard that 2033 adds more value than Last Light so I've been waiting for 2033 Redux to drop lower than 50% off.  But if Last Light Redux is worth it, I'll start looking for the bundle more.

2033 is definitely more improved since it moved off its original poorly optimized engine to an improved version of the Last Light engine.  From what I've heard, it also had more significant game play enhancements.

Last Light is less improved since it already started at a better place graphically and in performance.  It also has less changes to game play.  If you've already played Last Light, it doesn't sound especially compelling to play the Redux version for $25 (or for $12.50, really)

I remember when Betrayal at Krondor came on 7 floppy discs and took 25 minutes to install. Ah, the good old days. It took up a greater percentage of my hard drive space back then, too.
I remember when good grafix were the people who could paint the best pictures on the cave wall.

While I don't normally like to reward people for their poor decisions I have decided to pre-order the Carlton Fresh bundle despite the fact that Carlton chose not to actually use this most awesome and hip name for his bundle.

DrROCk for the win!  Did you pre-order yet?  If not then your bundle is on me.

Edit:  Oops!  Just saw your post.  Saved me a buck.

I don't want to start a whole conversation, because that apparently hurts some whore feelings, but I will say that as I read more about Bloodborne's lore, I'm appreciating the game a lot more.

In my defense, I did not realize it was a contest. Nor did I see any mention of fabulous prizes. I thought Coral just wanted suggestions.
Hee. I'm just teasing. This wasn't a contest but people will most likely treat it like one and offer the "winner" a prize of some sort even if it's just the moniker of "King Coral Head" for the day.

All hail King Coral Head! That is prize enough for me.
