I kind of set that up on a tee for you didn't I? :whistle2:

Have you ever looked at the bag? :nottalking:
No joke, they always give so many fries that the bag is greasy as hell. I take it home for later even though reheated fries are pretty bad and the refrigerator shelf is always covered in grease when I pick up the bag.

On Topic: So after you five guys are done, who's cleaning up the grease?

So Groupees took me a little more serious than I imagined...

You guys asked for it. Space Carl added as a bonus:

https://groupees.com/taxyear
Must. . . resist. . . urge to buy turrible Groupees bundle.

How about more food talk? I've been eating too many bacon cheeseburgers from Five Guys lately so I'm happy that Jack in the Box brought back the blazin chicken sandwich. Its actually good!
Ugh, I can't eat anything from Jack in the Box. Some of the food is pretty decent, but walking into that place is a bit like walking into a Pizza Hut: I feel my heart constricting and my arteries hardening just from the airborne grease in the local atmosphere. I can't afford a gym membership to offset the consequences of that food.

Are you saying that their "tacos" aren't the most delicious thing in the world?? Cuz... well...um...I didn't think it was possible to have meat more fake than Taco Bell. But they did it.

Yeah, I don't like their burgers or fries that much but the chicken sandwiches aren't bad for you.

Also, since we're on the subject of grease-induced comas, I moved to NM from CA in recent years, and I must say, this Whataburger chain is fantastic. I was never terribly fond of In-n-Out, admittedly, but I think the former is just so much better.

I like when my burger doesn't have a built in grease jacuzzi; it makes it a hell of a lot easier to consume.

Important update: went to CVS, they only had...orange creamsicle peeps. I bought those, as well as cadbury creme eggs and sweetart jelly beans. Ate four peeps and an egg. Orange Peeps are weird, but good because they are stuffed with sugar. I feel sick again.

Jack in the Box Tacos are surprisingly popular amongst Mexican people here (folks who cross the border, I mean) for the same reason Taco Bell tacos are - they're not the same as the ones we have back home. Their burgers used to be pretty damn good, but something changed in the past five years - the meat just tastes way too greasy.

Locally, we also have a Rally's and a Carl's Jr. I love the stuff Rally's has but it's so damn far away from home I rarely go and eat there. Carl's Jr. is okay but makes me go into food coma.

I know only two things about Carl's Jr:
1) It's the fake west coast version of Hardee's
2) This!
https://youtu.be/5wXhUqjHUQg
I tried going to a Hardee's when I visited my sisters up in Tennessee.

I walked out a minute later. Whatever the hell they had up in the menu looked disgusting. I think they had roast beef sandwiches... gross. Also, "Fake west coast version"? Carl's Jr. parent company bought Hardee's. THEY'RE the fake east coast version of Carl's Jr.

Also I've gotten added by four spambots in the past day. I'm finally being noticed. ;_;

I only have experience with Carl's Jr in Singapore (seriously, the only fast food burger joints anywhere near where I live or near where I went to college are McDonald's, BK, Wendy's, and Five Guys--it feels like I've managed to live in the only parts of the country without something else), and it's actually kind of great there. I would get the bacon onion ring barbeque double patty (or whatever they call it) there on a semi-regular basis, and it was basically clean of grease, as were their fries. It all tasted quite good for fast food, too.

Double Western Cheeseburger. That's my favorite one, too.

Every time food gets brought up here I'm at my clients house where there's a taco bell right down the street. I blame you guys for my future bowel movements

Whereabouts in TN is your sis?

I've only had Hardees a handful of times when I've taken 20+ hour bus trips to and from TN and for the stint I lived there. It's different, at least. Closest thing we have around here is Arby's. Have yet to try Carl Jr's though.

Something happened to my 4th Gen i5 laptop where it shut down with a burnt fuse noise, and froze on the "recovering BIOS" screen and now won't work. It's an HP Pavilion, so obviously I can't take it apart without voiding the warranty, and its proprietarily garbage casing makes it hard to take apart in the first place. Fourth time sending the laptop back since August 2014, when I bought it new.

My 2007 Toshiba Satellite Core 2 Duo has a broken screen and a broken keyboard, but I've never had it repaired or had the core components fail on me. I bought a Bluetooth adapter for my wireless m/kb for 99 cents and hooked the display up to my 32 inch TV and it's fine.

Hardee's in my neck of the woods are now exactly the same as every Carl's Jr. I have ever been to.

Agreed, their roast beef sandwiches are the only thing I've ever gotten there. So good.
Some Hardee's still have roast beef sandwiches? The Hardee's here haven't had them in 15+ years. Do they still have Hardee's sauce in packets for them?

Don't you have enough lady problems?

damn man.. main input device and primary display are not "core" component? Granted, u can replace them or find working solution around the broken part but they are pretty "core"

W/o them, u can't use ur laptop.

I was just commenting that there were no Jack in the Box here in GA in the super secret steam sex group I'm in.

I love their egg rolls.  And jalapeno poppers.  And tacos.  Because they are not real tacos.  Deep friend greasy burger meat with a slice of American cheese.  Yum.

I tried Hardees here in GA, they have a new death burger with jalapenos and jalapeno poppers.  It's actually pretty good but my main gripe with Hardees is that they don't put the usual tomato, lettuce, and onions in their specialty burgers so it's all bread and meat and grease.  I like the veggies to give the burger some crunch and refreshment.

Whataburgers is amazing also.  Started in Texas so I used to eat there all the time.  Nothing fancy, but quality food every time and they have spicy ketchup.

Everyone I know that has had an HP laptop (which is at least a dozen separate cases) has had one problem or another that required returning the laptop for repair or replacement. And conversely, everyone I know with a Toshiba says they're workhorses (though I hate their designs). I'm a fan of Toughbooks myself, but they're way overpriced for regular consumer usage.

It may be the GPU. I know a lot of people with fried/faulty GPU on their HP laptops through the years.

Lenoir City.

I don't think her husband would like you spying on them.

The last time I was up there - around 2011-12 - they still had roast beef stuff. Looks like they're Carl's Jr. clones now.

+1 on the Jack comments, but my local restaurants don't have jalapeno poppers anymore.

That Death burger looks very good, too. I plan to try it soonish.

I had Whataburgers like... ten-twelve years ago? while visiting some friends in Texas. They weren't that bad.

Yes. No Comic-sans, just yes.

Wow, what a fox!

<experiences talkinrock flashbacks>
Hey now, it's not like I asked for her Steam or anything. Or wrote her a poem.

Lenoir City.
Ah, okay, I was in the Choo-Choo City. Honestly, I was just curious because I wanted to know if you'd been in the area I was at in TN and what you thought. I live far away from there now, but still occasionally miss the place. Couldn't care less about your sis and her fursuit-donned hubby.

You're the only one I care about, baby.

So, ESO: Tamriel Unlimited is giving a Free Weekend to former Beta Testers like myself.

The game already took up (In Beta) some 40-something GB or so.

Now, it's downloading another 35 GB or so.

The splash page for ESO:TU is recommending 80 GB of open-space.

I remember my confusion upon learning that there was an identical fast food chain to Hardee's back in 98 during a school trip with students about an hour and a half Northwest of where I lived. I couldn't figure out why you would call them by different names in such a close area. The company must have agreed because those locations became Hardee's.

In other news there's a deal somewhere I dare not post :)
