I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

Wait, THAT'S what that got deleted for? Is that actually an offensive word? I thought it was just something you take in stride like cracker or whatever. How on earth am I supposed to keep up with WHAT SHALL NOT BE SAID if nobody fuck ing SAYS it. It's not like there's a list.

Yup. I think cracker is more benign not because of the usage, but because of who it's directed at. And that's the last I'll say about that, lest we have another Amazon thread-level race riot.

Hey, I'm all for racial equality in the workplace and whatnot, but freedom of speech is a right. Anyone looking to take such a right away from someone else is committing a more heinous violation against humanity than simple name-calling. Such people are hypocrites.

GoG is a game publisher and they like to have control over their intellectual property as well as where/when to have promotion. With GMG buying keys from un-disclosed sources, GMG is free to dictate when to run promotional discount and how much the discount would be.

Certainly, this wouldn't fare well with GoG or any publishers for it matters. I would say there's etiquette and rule of engagement in the game publishing world and GMG just violate it.

No It's not something to be taken in stride especially when many are beaten within an inch of their lives or even murdered shortly after being called the word.

There are entire Internet sites/Wiki articles dedicated to listing all offensive slang terms and the group that those offensive terms refer to. But to be on the safe side if you are calling any group or individual by a word or phrase that isn't their proper name then you should consider it an offensive term. So just try and you know treat people with the kind of respect you would want in their shoes.

They should have waited for a durability fix patch which was announced earlier and has been released few days ago. Increasing durability by yourself was gaining an advantage over other players in PvP, especially while using very frigile weapon like Old Whip or shield like Rampart Golem Shield.

 
Anyone here play 7 Days to Die?  I already own Infestation, The Aftermath Alpha, DayZ, Nether, and Survarium, but 7D2D seems like the most polished and finished of all of them (aside from maybe Infestation).  Anyone have any thoughts on the game?  Seems like the devs update pretty often too. Anyway 7D2D is on sale on the Humble store for another hour or so for like $12.50, but I may hold off to see what kind of discount it gets in the steam summer sale

Oh nice, thanks for the heads up. I didnt really look very closely at the timer, but knew I had seen it on sale yesterday as well. Thought they were doing different deals each day

So you know those old ass moldy Star Trek games that just got (re)released? Well apparently there's a little drama behind them. The person behind them is Burgery Becky aka Rebecca Heineman a co-founder of Interplay, though known then as Bill Heineman (she transitioned later). Oh and she also writes Ranma and Sailor Moon fanfic. 

Anyhow, she apparently has the rights now to some of these old games which is all well and good if not for the fact that in March 2014 she released a new updated but unfinished version of Battle Chess to Early Access claiming it would be done in about a month



Except Battle Chess has pretty much been abandoned unfinished to Early Access hell for over a year. But hey, Burger Becky says in the meantime please buy her old Star Trek games!

I'm not making fun of her. (well okay maybe the cheesy fanfic :p) I just want her to finish the damned chess game I bought over a year ago (yes I fakeybroed it; shut up) and keep her damned promises.

Why the hell would people get banned? Are transgender people somehow untouchable? Mind you the mods here go nuts over the dumbest shit basically because someone complains.

I didn't say you'd get banned. You're surprisingly... restrained about this, heh. (But I wouldn't be surprised if you got caught in the crossfire.) Hell - you own that Battle Chess game, so you have every right to ask her what happened and why development has stopped. SteamDB showed some recent updates but if the game still needs urgent fixes, the dev team should post an update.

Odd thing - I first found out about her Sailor Ranko fanfic series way back in the early 2000s after stumbling upon them while looking up Ranma 1/2 stuff. Admittedly, I am a big fan of her Ace Ventura / Ranma 1/2 crossover.
