fuck it. I think I'm just going to trade in Tomb Raider DE before the promotion is over. Bought it in October from gamefly for $15 + tax. Don't really wanna boost that MP to get the plat again, anyway.
I just sent mine back to Gamefly because I don't want to do that shit either. Once was enough.

I am feeling no pain. I should have stopped a couple beers back, but with the family out of town and my friend driving, I am taking advantage.
I don't know if I'll be able to drink beer anymore with the stomach issues I've been having. Doctor says no, but I plan on testing it out tonight with some blue moon.

The Whispers was an ok show. I've read the short story it's based on so I already know where it's going, but they seem to be taking a few liberties with the source material.

Not as good as Wayward Pines though, that show gets better and better every week.

Last of Us:

Terrible ending. I tried to let the fireflies kill Joel a bunch of times, but it wouldn't let me. They should have made it so you could make a decision at the end. Was really fucking stupid killing a bunch of innocent people who were working on saving humanity.

Weird. I was looking through my ps4 for something to play and saw Ether One has a 3 hour plat full of golds but didnt see anyone from this thread that has played it.

It's scary how that movie predicted the war on terror which started 4 years later.

Because it's riddled with glitches and game-crashing problems that are still there after four patches. Check PST.org's Ether One forum.

Finished Swapper. That ending...  :joystick:

For those who played,
Which ending did you choose, and why? I swapped.

Anyone know how much space you het for saved data on the ps+ cloud? I need to know if a fucking 35 mb hulu plus save is a lot. Deleted anyway because why does hulu have a save file?

K. Mine must be full of ps3 saves or something because every time I turn it on from rest I grt a bunch of errors about not being able to upload a save. Biggest one on pa4 is octodad and it is only 70 mb.
It's separate between consoles but your PS4s is probably just full.

I swapped, mostly because I knew exactly what that entailed (I loved the similar vibe to Nolan's The Prestige, where
it turns out that you weren't killing off empty husks but actual people)
and it seemed more interesting than just jumping off the cliff.

So final Last of Us thoughts:

The game got much better after the first few chapters. On normal difficulty, almost no stealth is mandatory after the first few chapters, so anyone holding out because it's a stealth game should probably play it.

The story is good, even though the ending sucked major balls in my opinion. The setting/landscapes are probably the best part of the game, really makes the game feel like it's telling an epic story. The gunplay is really good I think.

What's not as good as the long stretches of mindless walking and the puzzles. Puzzles are super simple and essentially filler, and a lot of the walking feels like filler too. The stealth, if you choose to do so, isn't great. the game breaks its own rules a few times, particularly with one of the enemies.

Although the gameplay is basically the same, the story in Left Behind is much better, and one of the better stories I ever recall seeing in a game.

Definitely didn't live up to the hype, I think I prefer both Uncharted 2 and 3 over this game, but I'm happy I finally played it.

IMO, TLoU feels much better on harder difficulties--the AI was brutal but conquerable on Survivor and you had to use stealth to conserve ammo. It felt so good to clear out an area without getting detected or using any ammo.

Pretty much this. On survivor without the sense ability to show you were every enemy is its a whole different experience. Tense, nerve wracking and satisfying. Even the walking will have you on edge. I poured all my upgrades into the bow and it took great care of me. So few parts on that difficulty haha. I wanted to try Grounded difficulty but the campaign is definitely a one and done for me.

Multiplayer always had me coming back for more though.
