Man, I wish This War of Mine was a little cheaper. Is there anyone out there willing to convince me to buy it at 60% off?
I've been tempted to play this game too. Not sure if I'll make it to 75% off territory.

Well, I fakeybroed this during the winter sale for $14.99 and still hadn't touched it until today. So that would be a vote for no maybe? I played a little of it and what I did play I enjoyed. It's like a survival sim management game with a war theme. I scavenged my digs, scavenged a neighboring house, built some furniture, got robbed in the middle of the night, etc.
Having studied the Balkan War, I've got a vibe that the game is based around similar experiences.

Must resist, until 75% or Bundle. .... :wall:

Only received 2 cards on my alts yesterday, and still haven't received my second card for today on any account. At least the votes guaranteed 3 cards per account per day.

I literally can not get the game to load and have been trying on and off since the sale started.

debating b/w Homeworld Daily sale and Fracture Space Flash sale.

Fakeybro Fracture Space Vanguard Edition at 50% and didn't look back.  This game is crack!!!  :D/

Has Amazon price matched anything from the Steam sale so far? I'm too afraid to look and become instantly disappointed.

No. I'm not THAT serious. C'mon. We all know the sad story behind the death of Amazon PCDD. I was just fishing with napalm.

you can bring this up to AmazonJosh
I tried, being that we're CAG friends and all. He continues to ignore my rather reasonable price matching requests and how in the hell he let the video game section on Amazon go to shit. Just simple stuff.

Demoted? To what?

Eh, its not my cuppa, but if you really like that franchise I would suggest getting this:

http://www.amazon.com/Command-Conquer-Ultimate-Collection-Online/dp/B009IR1SR0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1434157732&sr=8-1&keywords=command+conquer

Its 17 C+C games for $6, but it is for Origin if that matters.
I will rather avoid Origin. However can't spend two bucks for one game when tens cost 5 bucks.

I will hope that someday EA will put it back on Steam.

I just want to say:

Awesome job w/ all of the updating you've done so far during these crazy Steam + GoG sales.

How do you do it?

It's new. They just sent an email out about it.

If it goes lower on a daily I might be tempted. Ugh.
Is there still active CAG presence? I know there was a group at one time organized by he who must not be named. I haven't even started it yet because it because it seems less fun solo (and it's confusing as heck, so I'd need halp).

If it goes on sale I'll hop back in and yeah it is less fun solo. Its not really confusing unless they changed they hell out of it...which I doubt. When I stopped playing I was running nightmare dungeons (which is essentially end game).

No clue about CAG presence in TSW. Ain't played it in quite some time.

Given I am who I am - I played most of this game solo. So, no - I didn't do any of the team-based missions (which I didn't see much of on there, anyways). A lot of times, you'd be running around the map - and then, other people roaming (who might be doing the same mission) might come in for a moment + help you in a battle, and then move along.

I put in about 30 hours, dug it - and unfortunately never got back to it. I should get back to it, some day. I really dug the quality of writing, dialogue, and voice-acting. And the open-class system was really nice, as I basically was aiming for a gun-toting mage class combo who was a Illuminati member.

EDIT:

Combat feels like WoW - you click, it attacks, in its default w/ a locked-camera. I'm not a fan of this, in games that play more directly w/ the controls. I don't even use this style much in DA:I, as I prefer my mouse-looking. I think this WoW style of combat w/ the locked-cam fine for say a melee character, but not really for a projectile-tossing or gun-shooting character.

If you don't like the WoW style, there's a Toggle Target Mode combat switch (its in the Options menu under the Keybindings in Combat sub-section) to flip on-the-fly so it feels more like a typical action 3rd person game when you try to aim and mouselook at enemies, which is how I prefer to play when I'm casting spells or shooting guns + controlling my character's exact every movement.

Since you can switch b/t the two Combat modes on the fly - yeah, cue the "Best of Both Worlds" mantra I like to use a lot. Pick your poison at any time, on the fly.

So that Wings Remastered game, the one Spoder said was supposed to be in that shitty Poopees Return bundle but wasn't, is on sale 85% off at $2.25. It's cheaper than on Steam ($3.74 at 75% off) and highly doubt it will get a daily.

It's probably Fundle Bodder at some point, but $2ish is cheap enough and I didn't know I wanted it or that it existed until Spoder made me moran that stupid Poopees bundle and then it wasn't in it.

last minute question: I own (via peasantry) but have never played XCOM:EU.  Does Enemy Within add enough to justify a purchase? I heard that it changes the strategy of the game.  If that's true, is it worth playing base EU first, or should one play through the whole game with the EW enhancements? T.I.A.

Should I get the Sonic Racing RPG Game on PC even if I own it on PS3?
FTFY. ;)

Depends on if you want it on Steam.

While Sonic Racing Transformed is 75% off at $5, it has been $4 on Amazon before:

http://isthereanydeal.com/#/page:game/info?plain=sonicallstarsracingtransformed

Sonic Hits Pack (which has Sonic Racing Trans) has been $7.49 on Humble Bundle:

Also, bookmark IsThereAnyDeal.com if you haven't already. It's a great site for price comparisons.

I played EU and EW. And yes, that expansion brings a lot to the table. It doesn't necessarily changes "the strategy", but it improves the one you played in EU. That being said, I don't regret having played both, I love the game so much.

So it all depends on you. If you like the game and/or the series, you will play both just to know what is different... xD

I didn't even realize this was a thing...

30% off The Secret World: Ultimate Edition - $41.99

My Massive Edition now feels inferior.
I got an e-mail about TSW Ultimate the other day.

Since it's called an actual Ultimate Edition - are they finally done w/ doing any more Issues/DLC's/Content Packs?

EDIT:

Aw, hell - I'll just answer my own above-said question:

http://www.thesecretworld.com/news/the_ultimate_edition_is_here

Looks like Ultimate Ed contains First Season of DLC's/Extra Content "so far".

So, sounds like they might have another Season of this stuff, eventually coming.

A million years late, but a game on my wishlist, Under the Ocean, was pulled from Steam in February. I liked the look of it. Like Lost in Blue (DS game) or something.

http://www.pcgamer.com/under-the-ocean-pulled-from-steam-early-access/

But it's gone. Oh well. I didn't want to buy a game in Early Access, especially after getting burned on Don't Starve. As in, I LOVED Don't Starve early on. Go around, gather resources, build little things, craft things, interesting monsters, la la la.

Then months into development, INSANITY METER AND CREEPY AS SHIT.

Nope nope nope. I like my games delicate and happy and pink and glittery.

The only thing I'm debating right now is Grimrock 2 and Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. Wolfenstein I might actually play (only reason I would consider it at 50%) but Grimrock 1 is still sitting in my backlog.

That being said, anyone have any recommendations for me?
