Looks like Amazon updated the packaging for the Talos Principle PS4 release (spoilered because huge):

It'll be pretty awesome when there's a reliable way to keep this thing hacked and emulators are ported. With the 512mb ram/4 core cpu mame might actually run worth a shit if someone was willing to port it.

I've been thinking about going the cfw route with one of my ps3s to have access to more over remote play but I still need to do my homework on the ramifications.
I'd actually love a better PSP emulator. Vita has the juice to run PPSSPP at native resolution, I think, and that would make an enormous difference on all those PSP 3d games.

I certainly wouldn't say no to good SNES, Genesis, and GBA emulator, though. Dreamcast emulation would be fantastic as well, though I'm not sure how capable the existing emulator is. Reicast ooks to run fine on Android, though. Finally get to play Sword of the Berserk, for example.

So for anyone who didn't watch Game of Thrones last night, you really should stay away from all social media today.

For those that did that don't want to get into a discussion of the books because I don't give a shit what happened in the books...

So do you think they come up with some miracle way to save Jon or will he really stay dead? The whole belief of him being a Targaryen seems pointless if he is just going to die now.

Arya being a bad ass was pretty cool, but I wonder what is going to happen with her being blind at least for now.

Having Tyrion running Maureen while Daenerys deals with a new batch of Dothraki should make for an interesting story line as well.

I am wishing it was not such a long wait until next season.

Maybe something else happens later on that I've forgotten since playing it on PS3, but Sly 3 feels better--more streamlined--than Sly 2. The first is still the best, though.

Dishonored Definitive Edition is up for preorder at BB, $40 MSRP so $32 with GCU. Not a surprise.
I might give this a try. $32 isn't too bad. Might wait though till Christmas time and see if it is cheaper. Guess it depends on what I am playing when it comes out.

Still enjoying Just Cause 2?
Yeah. A few annoying things with it but still enjoying the game. I just finished the 4th main mission yesterday. Working on unlocking the 5th.

Did a faction missions today that required defusing a bomb on three moving jeeps. Several times I hit x as part of the sequence but I guess I got shot or something and it failed to hack and then parachuted off the damn car. But my real annoyance with the game is find the last 10% or so to take over an area. I got the trophy for doing 15 areas to 100%. Doubt I am going for plat so I might not even both trying to 100% the area unless it is a military base. Since it would be nice when I respawn to be closer to where I was when I died.

I wasn't having much fun with 2, so I haven't went back to it after starting it months ago. I didn't like it anywhere near as much as I did the first.

Yeah it's definitely 1, 3, 2...haven't played 4 thieves yet.

Kind of not much to say regarding the books because they have officially caught up to everything now (and in some cases probably surpassed).

I don't think there's anyway Jon is dead for good. He seems to be too big of a character to go out so abruptly like that. Not to mention that in both the show and books his death wasn't super definitive (the both end with him lying there bleeding out). A popular theory which I agree with is that Melissandre will bring him back to life a la Beric Dondarrion.

Stannis biting it was surprising. Though they didn't officially show him being killed so I'm always skeptical until I see a body.

I'll be happy to see Tyrion running things in Mereen next season. It does seem pretty far fetched that people would go along with that, though. The queen flew away on a dragon, so we're going to take orders from this midget who showed up a few weeks ago. I didn't get the sense that Grey Worm was a liked enough person in the city to make that transition work, but whatever.

It definitely felt like it dragged on and on and on, but Sly 3 doesn't feel that way.

Thieves in Time might be my least favorite because of the long load-times (at least on Vita) and apparent developer bias towards Bentley--I was so sick of his hacking minigames by the time I finished the game.

If any Witcher 3 players here are going for the Gwent Collector trophy, this looks like a helpful checklist to have. It's a bit annoying that some of the "cells" are missing borders, but it should still come in handy.

$250 for the RB4 bundle. Crazy.
That's fine. Next let's get a game + guitar bundle price point.

WWE Money in the Bank: Good show. Could have done without
John Cena winning. Ending to Rollins-Ambrose was weird,
but I like both guys so I was happy with either winner.

Bethesda conference: Only watched for Doom and Fallout ... which DOMINATED the conference. Absolutely loved it. I doubt EA or Ubisoft is going to top it. I have to admit when Doom introduced the game creations and Fallout had the mini games, I was reminded of Timesplitters 2 which did those things first (not as detailed though).

Wish they would announce a Timesplitters 4.

Nintendo World Championship: I'm watching this right now. Lots of fun. I'm a sucker for the underground challenges ( I would have been the first to die during Super Metroid). The Mario Kart challenge started now so this should keep me busy until Microsoft's conference begins.

With Kevin, Adam, and Morgan with coverage last night, it's like classic G4 was back.

Melissandre bringing him back is a good point. I pretty much forgot about her showing back up at Castle Black right before that.

Unless something happens where Brienne gets killed before she takes care of him, I do not see Stannis surviving. Plus, without his army, his family, or Melissandre at his side what part could he possibly have to play now. I just wonder if he took care of enough Boltons for LittleFinger's army to be able to take care of the rest. At least I assume that is still going to happen.

I am not sure Grey Worm was liked either, but if there are enough Unsullied left, I can see him keeping the city going. He was more present than what she was in the city really. She stayed locked up in her throne room for the most part.

I wonder how many of the religious nut jobs the zombie Mountain kills in the first few episodes of next season.

Yeah Sly 2 dragged like a motha fuck er. That sucks about Thieves since I will probably most likely play it on the Vita. That sucks about those hacking minigames too, they just aren't that much fun. Sprinkled in fine, but all over screw that. Glad I never grabbed that separate Bentley game for $3 or whatever...I skipped it figuring it would be more of that nonsense. The crazy thing is something like that should be fun but it's just too slow and clunky to be worthwhile.

One thing I missed while playing Thieves in Time was the "jerky" character movements that were in the previous three games. There was something endearing/fun about that and it seemed weird for the characters to move more fluidly.

Also, you haven't played it yet so I won't spoil anything, but there's a twist in TiT (ha) that rubbed me the wrong way because it didn't make much sense. You'll know what it is when you get to it.

-All gamers
Would like to meet these gamers. Everytime I bring up Timesplitters somewhere, the response is "What is Timesplitters?"

Got to give Spike TV props for airing Kick Ass before the E3 Xbox coverage begins.

Then I'll take them away when they decide not to air any of the other conferences.

Glad I stayed out of the wrestling thread today so I wouldn't have any of the PPV spoiled, dick.

Hmmm, I really like Sly as a character so I want more games but not if it goes off the rails. Looking at the Trilogy now it was definitely an achievement for the PS2 era and probably overlooked by a lot of gamers. I'd almost want Sucker Punch to do another (more modern) one but I think that ship has sailed at this point.

I played a lot of Ratchet & Clank 1 over the weekend.  That game is still fun.  But y'all already knew that.  Sure wish my internet worked for more than 2 hours so I could update trophies or watch all the new Netflix.

could you spoiler your post please? I skipped over his post and didn't know it contained wrestling spoilers until I read your post. thanks.
Fair enough. I spoiler'd mine as well , although it only had one spoiler
Or should I say "spoiler"? Is Cena always winning at the end a spoiler at this point? Honestly.

BTW, if WWE wants people to subscribe to WWE Network, then why would they send alerts to all the winners as they happen via the free app?

With E3 starting and not having a place I can discuss it with anyone that cares, I figured I would start posting again here to be able to have some sort of video game discussion.

Was able to preorder the Pip Boy Edition of Fall Out from Best Buy, can't pass up the 20% and 10 certificate on it, so $90 doesn't seem that bad?

Look forward to the conferences today and being able to discuss them!

Nice High School English!

I was watching Bethesda's conference last night on IGN. Then they had all kinds of technical difficulties (color bars, a standby screen) and went to Gamespot where I'd get 5 second lags every few minutes.  Did anyone else have any problems streaming?

Wondering if I should try Youtube or Twitch for today's events.

Twitch was fine, though the stream wasn't very good quality. YT or that should be fine.

I know we all already know and it's already been debunked but hopefully we never hear "console gaming is dead" or "gaming is dead" ever again.

It seems like e3 is going to be super healthy this year with a ton of game announcements. All of the big 3 seem to definitely have ammo ready as well as the 3rd parties. It also seems like e3 is getting fatter each year with padding on both sides of the big 3(s) conferences.

I don't even know what I'm looking for anymore at this point, there is already such a fuck ton to play but I guess sometimes the best things are the things you didn't know you wanted.

#gen3Vita - Make it amazing Sony. Let's keep handheld gaming alive and healthy. I don't want to have to buy a gaming laptop to portable game.

Yea I'll be watching KindaFunny/Gamespot's Twitch streams today!  Looking forward to the pre and post shows from the Kinda Funny Crew.
