It was okay, but as I said, it didn't feel like there was much of a point to it. It's more like a tech demo; look, you can explore billions of worlds in an infinite galaxy! Well...I could go wander around and visit every town in Tennessee, too, but I really don't give a shit and won't be bothering. Unless the game gives me a reason to play aside from "Oh...it's big. That's cool, I guess," then I don't have much motivation to play it, let alone buy it anywhere near full price.

No Man's Sky has the first part of "Visit exotic places, meet new people, then kill them," but not parts two or three. You need all three parts for a good game. :nottalking:

 
my son wanted me to play some transformers last night so i started up war for cybertron. no one was playing mp but i didn't wanna start single player, so i started escalation. i got teamed up with 1 guy and he got me all the way to round 16 by himself. i checked him out on the leaderboards afterwards and he is the #2 war for cybertron guy in the world on escalation ;) played 106days worth, over 2500 rounds. crazy. i got lucky.

That's the key difference, though: I want to explore space. I don't want to explore Tennessee.

I got the remaining miscellaneous Hohokum trophies, but I don't think I'll go for the lone gold trophy (Speedrun--Finish the game within 1 hour). Based on this PST.org thread, it looks like a pain that I'd rather not deal with.

The game's still really weird, though. Regardless, that's another one down for #JumpingJune (I know there's no jumping in it, Therm, GOSH).

It's in next weeks Best Buy ad, ad isn't listed just deals listed out. $399 gets you the 1TB halo xbox, you get one free game, and controller is $10 off with purchase of system, and 500 reward points with a controller which equals $10 cert

Finally got around to cleaning out my profile. I kept forgetting that the mobile app let you do that. It was a pain in the ass, though, since it orders by last played and doesn't give you an option to sort at all. When you delete a game you get sent back to the top of the list, so there's lots of scrolling. After deleting everything at 0% I dropped from 95 games played to 77.  :whistle2:

But first I will keep watching this GT video about all the cool stuff you can do in JC3. Blowing shit up is far better than wandering space Mr Spock.

If they want BC on the PS4 and keep going forward with Playstation Now, I think the best way to do it would be to give all PS+ members one free rental from PS Now per month, one game out at a time. Similar to how how Amazon Prime gives you one free kindle book per month.

That would be cool, but better would be to let you put in a PS3 disc, have it read it, and then let you play that game if it's in the PS Now library. And let you play PS3 download games that are in your PSN library.

PS3 is still quite viable, though. I don't see them making PS Now such a great deal that people begin to retire their PS3 rather than continuing to buy games for it. Down the road a few years when the PS3 has gotten more outdated, library-wise, I think we'll see more movement around PS Now and probably a PS1/PS2 emulator on the PS4 as well to replace that function of the defunct PS3.

I picked up a copy during their last % off sale at gamestop, but haven't played it yet. I don't remember it being $20 though so I think they might have raised the price at some point. It's still on the website so there might be a few new copies still floating around at $15 at gamestop. Can check the store locator to see if one happens to be within 100 miles of you.

It didn't help that the guy playing it said, he's seen worse planets. My understanding of the game is everyone has their own planet so if I get stuck with a rock devoid of life, is there going to be any point in defending it, which I guess is part of the game? Take my rock, please, Putin!

Look for a better planet? I don't think you're going to stay at one planet for long, especially if it's a lousy one.

If planets can have caves I'll be more interested. Before I lost interest in Minecraft that's what I liked to do, blast open until I find a cavern and then follow it down its twists and turns as far as I can, building bridges and stairs along the way.

Rock Band Blitz is Rock band for those w/o instruments? I'd pay $5 for that.

Nice I forwarded the information on. I see 30% trade in bonus is back. I am going to unload The Evil Within as long as they don't tank the base value too much.

I see Saints Row Re-Elected + GAT out of hell is also on sale starting Sunday for $24.99 before GCU. I might grab that for $20 and trade it right back in. Depending on TIV. GS is giving $14.30 right now for it. I just want to play GAT out of hell. It is a digital code right? I think Velo mentioned that a week or two ago.

I already played Saints Row 4 on 360 and PS3 so I won't play it again on PS4
