When I was a kid the house didn't have air conditioning and we were fairly poor so that was a place we could always go a couple of times a week that would entertain us and let us cool off for a few hours cheaply. Since our 4 movie theaters collapsed into one mega-complex, they don't do that anymore which I think is a shame.

My theater has $5 movies every Tuesday. I've been going more frequently since discovering this.

Too bad I have to work and probably cant stay an extra day or two to explore on my own. But its okay if I walk around all night right? Nothing bad could possibly happen to a redneck from FL in NYC late at night right?

Only one or two places around me have these, but they are really great. Reserved seating can be really good, but it's also kind of a drag when you decide spur of the moment that you want to see something and all of the good seats are long gone.

I assume they are putting you up some where in midtown? Should be fairly safe around there. Harlem? Not so much.

According to this site at least nyc didn't even make the top 100 most dangerous cities but Florida has 11 cities on the list. So I think you'll probably be fine if you're usually rockin it on the mean streets of miami dade (or wherever you are in Florida).

Yeah, pretty decent for a launch-day edition, especially after GCU. Plus they've stated they won't be able to port this one to Vita so there's no reason to wait for that version, assuming they hold to it.

I still have to play 2, 4, and D2, though, so I'm not going to be bothering any time soon.

Shit you would think living up here North of NYC it would SAFER. There are two cities on the top 100 that are much closer to me then NYC. But I already knew both were bad cities.

Thankfully I am nowhere near Miami Dade. Awful place, but they have great football playas! Miami Dade is a whole nother country anyway. Shouldnt be considered the US.

Orlando is #99 and that place would never scare anyone. I imagine it is even on the list because of all the tourists walking around Disney getting pick pocketed.

Sometimes my wife and I practice pickpocketing on each other while we're out. Never know when you might need to turn to a life of crime!

Bro. I work for a bank. Financial District/Downtown. Couple blocks from the exchange. Still not a big time hotel or anything but I have a few to chose from. Not staying at the Waldorf or anything like though.

The boxart looks really nice on the new Disgaea. I still need to get to my unopened D2 though. I'll probably wait for the price to tank.

Just don't take the subway into Brooklyn or up to the Bronx or Queens and should be fine.

I personally would try to get over to Little Italy for Dinner. I am not really up on the city any more but 10 years ago my cousin came in from out of town and we spent part of a day in Little Italy. Picked some little spot and had some really good Italian food. Wandered around and bought cannolis and other pastries all good stuff.

Warning there is no Dominos though.

Also other touristy stuff. Circle Line cruise. They take you around the island and point stuff out. I think they have a night time cruise with booze.

Also Redline buses are kind of neat and they had a downtown loop but you probably wont have enough time for that.

Traveling for work sucks.

Yeah I dont need to eat Dominos when dinner is on the companies dime. I am definitely hitting Little Italy. May be there every night for dinner unless someone at the office has better ideas.

altho a few of my friends have been murdered. it's a fucked up world.

a few years ago this fuckhead raped and burned this teen girl in her car cuz she didn't take him to the prom.

crazy shit like that happens all over tho

and the whole shawn hornbeck fucked up situation was just down the street.

Wonder if we'll get Black Flag on PS+ soon. EU got 3 quite a while back, but NA has never gotten one. Then again we still have never had a retail PS4 release on PS+, either.
