AT&T tried to screw us over today. My kid bought a refurb iPhone 5c from groupon and we wanted to move his pay-as-you-go SIM card to the new phone but it's a different size SIM card (full size to nano). We had this same issue when getting my wife a new phone - different SIM card size. But that worked fine. So this guy was telling my wife and my kid that smartphones can't use pay-as-you-go service. Which is bullshit. And iPhones can use it too because I moved my wifes old dumb phone to my old iPhone 3GS years back. It worked without a hitch. AND here I am looking at an AT&T support page that says it works. You don't get data service with pre-paid pay-as-you-go (at least on AT&T), but it works for everything else. I had to talk to the guy on the phone and tell him to just transfer the sim card. Well even then he said he'd look into it and finally he says yes it does work and he's going to do it. Got to love AT&T.

You'd be wrong. I use to listen to that stuff, but now I only hear it on the pinball machine and when in passing some radio playing it. I don't dislike AC/DC at all, but I've heard their stuff plenty and then some. I like it on the pinball machine, but I'd never play it on Spotify.

I certainly don't think they could credibly publish any reviews about Nicalis games at this point. I used to refresh that site as often as I refresh this thread. Best place for Nintendo news, but hard to keep up with because he posts every damn thing imaginable. It's mostly just a news blog, but occasionally dude will post a long rambling review and he did away with scores (at least he had when I stopped reading it when I got my PS3).

I use att prepaid, they are a bunch of assholes when using prepaid as they dont get any kind of commission on it. Had to go completely ape shit on a lady at one att store and got a manager as she was flat out lying saying she couldnt do something, reason being she didnt want to do it as they dont make money from people doing prepaid with their own phones. they make some money if you buy a prepaid phone but if you bring your own they dont make anything.

Surprised no one has mentioned the other crap At&t started a couple of weeks ago. You can no longer do 2-year upgrades at any location except an At&t store. No more Best Buy sales, gift cards, trade ins, it can only be done at the At&t store. So dumb and frustrating. If I didn't have my unlimited plan still I would switch to someone else in a heartbeat.

Bloodborne is a faster pace when it comes to the combat. The enemy can attack you and you get a few seconds to hit them back to get your health back or take the loss. I loved every minute of Bloodborne.

Once you activate that stupid "Has Been Playing" thing, you can't actually shut it off. Even if I remove all the games from my "Playing" list it still shows up there with the most recent game you've played. So I just chose a random good game, I guess I could change it to another random good game if I wanted to.

The mistake I made was every starting to use it in the first place.

 
So the PS Blog just pretty much quit, huh? They're like "after E3, we'll start doing sales lists again and really pick it up!"

Then they got back from E3 and decided that the blog survived with them gone so there's no real need to put any work into it anymore.

Yup, but then the previews for next week the captain said something like, "my guy gets shot I'm on the case," instead of "my guy gets killed...", which makes me think somehow they're going to have him survive a point blank shotgun blast to the stomach.

Yeah I caught that too. If they do that it will kind of piss me off. The story is ok so far, but it is not hooking me with the characters like last season. A GoT type twist like that would give it a bit more interest. With all the time they spent with the divorce, corruption, and kid stuff already no way he can be dead.

Yeah, who would have thought Vince Vaughn would be the most interesting person on the show? He's the only one I give a shit about, and when I saw the previews I was like, "ugh, Vince Vaughn."

Tapioca texture doesn't bother me at all, I just feel its pretty pointless. The flavor isn't anything special, just a mediocre vanilla. Its just like that fad of bubble tea, it would be the same with or without the tapioca, it adds nothing.

Max pulp is the only way I'll drink OJ. I'd much rather just eat an orange.

I walked in in with an unlocked Fire Fone I got for my birthday and wanted it on a prepaid plan. They did it without any issues. Cancelled my old contract, set me up on prepaid, took 10 minutes. My wife did the same at another location with her phone. You must've had a shitty employee.

But on the topic, prepaid is the way to go with phone plans. If you're on a contract, you're pretty dumb.
