My wife will buy the generic grocery store, Target, or Walmart stuff from time to time, but never generic brand Q-Tips. One of my co-workers brought in this generic soda:

Stuff tasted like dirty dishwater. He told his wife to her to never buy it again.
I don't know about other places, but that brand is sold in the Sav-a-Lot chain around here. Their root beer is called Tubz. I remember it being funny back when I was kid because they didn't have 2 liters. All their shit was sold in 3 liter bottles.

God damn it I miss California. Is that in San Diego?
Nope luckily it's close to me at what you probably remember as the Glen Helen Blockbuster Pavilion. It's now called the San Manuel Amphitheater. You ever been to that outdoor venue? That's where they had Ozzfest most of the years.

Well damn you have very good ins if you can get 60 qty for $2. Also it really depends what manufacture of the generic you have. If you have the yellow ones, I think they have a much higher street value since I get a phone call at least once a day asking if the Norco is banana colored.
I pay a lot for the insurance so it isnt a great deal really. Are the yellow ones higher than 325/10? Mine are white 325/10 and as far as I know hydrocodone is either 5 or 10 and not any higher. I had the yellow ones once before and didnt notice that they were more potent. Also I have had an oxy and prefer these hydros. Different people feel things differently. Oxy makes me itch. Hydro doesnt.

I haven't actually. I'm crazy jealous you get to go to that. I was just watching Descendents videos last night.

Fireworks are super overrated to me. Well going out to see fireworks anyway. It's hot as fuck, there's a million people there, if you want a decent spot you have to camp out early, there's no parking, and leaving is insane because everyone is leaving at the same time. All to watch some lights in the sky for 15 minutes. Sounds more like torture than fun to me.

I not certain if you will like it. It is not hopped like an American beer is, but there are hops. The sweetness is not the same as a Belgian either. It is more of a bready malty taste instead of candi sugar like the Belgians use.
I tend to like a lot of English beers though not as much as Belgians of course. They are not anywhere near as hoppy as American beers and have subtle flavors usually. So Ill try it one day.

I can just look out my window, so I think they're pretty sweet. #urbanliving

Dan Adelman (the Axiom Verge PR guy we've talked about before) is doing an Indiependence Day "sale", where everything is 0% off and there's a couple paragraphs about how people should support indies at full price.

That dude is sure against games going on sale. I think people holding out on Axiom Verge are going to be waiting for a long ass time.

Well they have Hydro 5/7.5/10 -325. The yellow ones are the same strength but just from a different manufacturer.

I can just imagine what the lawn area is going to look like with the pits. Ozzfest usually meant trash being lit on fire and the piles of burnt plastic cups. That's a damn good line up and I knew you would want to go. Are you coming out here in Nov.?

Thats what I thought, so its weird they think yellow is cool. It probably has something to do with the yellow being easier to see and sell at raves?

Do the kids still call them raves these days?

Yeah we usually flip back and forth between the NYC and Boston displays if we happen to be home or remember to record it. If not whatever.

Yeah I regularly see them when driving past the minor league ballpark downtown or eating at a restaurant that's near there on Friday and Saturday nights. They do like 20 fireworks shows per season. That's what makes them overrated too. You can see them all the time any more, I accidentally see fireworks at this point. People putting in hours at a park in the heat just for fireworks is asinine.

I know I am late to the Q-Tip topic, but deal with it.

I used to really enjoy using them when I would get out of the shower.  The problem was I constantly got outer ear infections.  More commonly called swimmer's ear.  One time it was so bad my doctor had to force cotton into my ear with tweezers so she could get the medicine in it to heal my ear.  I couldn't sleep or eat since it hurt like a mother fucker every time I got one.

I thought it was all because I was getting water in my ear but I went to the ENT after that incident and he told me it was actually the Q-Tips I was using that caused the problem.  Apparently I had scars in my ears from the Q-Tips and the irritation from using them.  Even though my ears itch ALL THE TIME, I have not used them since and haven't had an issue since.

I can wait years so if no sale happens, I won't lose sleep over it. Even though the game looks good.

You're thinking more of amphetamines such as adderall and Vyvanse. Also they tend to be cut with a bunch of different shit. And yeah still got raves/edm festivals. Good times.

The yellow I heard is a bit more potent. Can't really say if that is true as we and a bunch of pharmacies have completely stopped ordering that version as if someone knows you have it, you have a good chance of getting robbed.

Yeah, the weekend of Nov. 14 for work, and I might tack on another week to see some friends. We should totally grab a beer or three. I'm staying in the Gaslamp.

Real Qtips all the way. I tried generic from Walgreens or CVS and they were terrible. Almost got the cotton ball stuck in my ear twice cause they come lose in your ear! Qtips never do that.

Yeah I clean my ears with Qtips even though they say you shouldnt. fuck off. It feels good and gets some of the water out after a shower.
I flush my ears out occasionally with Hydrogen Peroxide. If you hear that stuff bubbling and crackling after you squirt it in (I have a small plastic syringe to do it), you'll know it's pushing ear wax out. Then I flush them out with warm water in a rubber squirter and take a Qtip and clean up the rest.

Heading to Locavore Beer works tonight, in the last 3 weeks or so we have found 6 breweries within a couple miles of my house.  Never knew there were that many in the suburbs, it's insane!  Will try and give a full report tomorrow on them now that I use untapped!

I always thought the race to the bottom dollar for indies on steam would create a mental value problem for gamers, but they keep doing it so something must be working.

I use those Asian Ear cleaning spoons. Feels so satisfying and you have a lot more control.

That mental value problem absolutely exists. It's gone beyond steam, most CAGs just wait for games to show up in cheap indie bundles now.

I'm pretty sick of Neptunia Re;Birth1 now--it doesn't feel fun and the grinding necessary just to not die is ridiculous and boring. I'm glad I skipped the $6 digital copy so I can just sell the physical copy for $20+.

I don't know ask your wife.

Serious answer: It is usually best when someone else does it. They get a flashlight and scrape all the earwax away. If you do it yourself, start really far away then inch closer a little by little. And scrape lightly.
I might get this one. It works on boogers too.

Maybe if it were SO3.  Although I probably have nostalgia-tinted glasses on for that game.

True story: I bought a 360 to play SO4.  Ended up playing Lost Odyssey, Vesperia, Blue Dragon and Infinite Undiscovery instead and never got around to SO4.  fuck Microsoft for their ill-fated JRPG experiment.
